Raven gets tricked into a 'workout' by Beastboy and Azula goes all fire crazy. Fun times.

After a couple delays and me completely forgetting what day it was last Sunday, DC Raven is released. Discord streamed animations have been fun to make. I really enjoy the feedback as I work on them. Now to sort what to start for the next one.

I'm not even sure what sparked the Azula creation this week. Random, but turned out spiffy and was a fun little thing to do. Couple pics and 2 versions of the animation. Animated wallpaper with sound, basically. I know the clothed version has a slight jump with the smoke. Nude does not.

    Enjoy

In lieu of a Weekly, here's a little Harley Quinn thing I threw together on a whim. Video and pic here with an animated gif on Discord. SubStar doesn't allow gifs over 10mb, but at least they now allow them at all, and I just found out X doesn't allow them larger than 15mb. Yeah, it's kinda big. Details, details.

Kinda taking a little breather, since Halloween and Christmas both are render ready, which is a lot sooner than usual. Messing around with things like this, sorting ideas, so on and so forth.

I enjoy making small things like this. Good practice. Sorta like animated posters.

Things are moving along with Black Cat Cafe, though my working time is slowed for a while. Fiancé had surgery, so helping the recovery has taken the lead. Here is a rendered section of the intro; part of the limo ride. Nothing fancy. No worries too, the music doesn't stay so solemn.
Also started another Black Menagerie (fully synced to music). I won't give much detail though until it's for certain going to work. Lastly, I've obtained a few more nice models; Cindy Aurum from Final Fantasy, Tinkerbell from Disney (3D version), Aurore Cassel from Cyberpunk and Warhammer 40K Sister of Battle.

Other than that, it's been a quiet week.

A new year brings about new ideas...
Not really, I've had this in "The List" for a long time already.
Anyways, the idea here is a live stream featuring someone. "Who" is the question though. A heroine, in my opinion for theme, makes the most sense, thus the current potential lineup.  Before anyone gets overly excited, this is not a multi-character project. Each girl shown is not going to be in this or even have an alternate project of it. It's a selection process, not who is already selected.
I was originally going to use Supergirl but checked a few other models for it and found several that I liked the idea of. Black Cat though is the current lead for a few reasons.  Firstly, the model is fantastic all around.  Second, she's one of the girls on the banner I was using, and it seems appropriate to use them sooner than later.  But lastly and most important, the project needs to be a very long runtime, so the model needs a lot of extremely good facial flexes for animated emotions. All of these have that, but hers are the best.  Just her default look has an emotional aspect to it. Yeah, I had her look at the camera too.  Black Widow has the best butt though.
So, this week, and a lot of random time last month, has been spent making a UI type stream screen overlay with the Lovense style theme. Tokens are bought and spent to change the events.  Time spent sorting who with outfits and all that.  Prep-work for the general scene.  Lots of texture edits or creations from scratch.
The 'who' is still up for grabs.  Black Cat is in the lead, but that's not a sure thing and I still have other characters to poke at, just in case, but she is pretty far ahead.

In other news, some projects shown earlier last year are still in progress, even if super slow.  Tekken Emilie 'Lilli" de Rochefort is still going, just not very fast. It is nearly in a state that would be releasable, rather than a more involved and finished project, so given that I've lost a lot of interest in it, it may go that route.  Or it gets shelved til I finally get back to it.
Probably some other projects I'm not remembering.  That happens though.  Things get lost and forgotten.  I have longer ideas in mind, but worry they'll take too long to create/release.  Will see how things go.

    Also, Happy Late New Year.

Last preview of Christmas 2024. It's fully rendered now, just needs made into video in Sony Vegas. Been strange to have it be such a calm creation. The other Christmas' have been chaotic and stressful, except that little Violet Parr one.

Speaking of little ones, I did get another mini-loop style created as well. Preview for it will be shown next Weekly. It needs full render, since it only has the test one right now, and then the Vegas treatment and voila. I said I wasn't going to do any other free this year aside from Christmas 2024, and even though it's also Christmas themed it's not the main one, so it will be Supporter Tier+ ($3+). I've been trying to find correct voices for it, so it may or may not have sound, depending.

I'll soon start compiling this year's creations for the Yearly video I like doing.

Not much to say this week. More Christmas rendered, I've taken some time to 'recharge' and sort things, spent yesterday in the ER with the fiancé.
Still not saying who exactly is in Christmas this year, but I will say it's DC Comics and she's in a snow globe/machine thing. Getting the snow globe's glass to be visible was a pain. Sometimes it's not really visible at all. I didn't want to obscure the view too much though.
Pic shown is one of the test renders, not a final render, so it's not the best quality.

Several new ideas added to 'The List' of things to do. I even have another possible mini-Christmas thing I might try to hammer out in time. Sorta like the little Violet Parr last year. No promises though.
