Weekly WIP #68

•  Violet Parr (The Incredibles)
•  Vixen (DC Comics) Lighting/Shadow Practice/Potential Project
•  Misc.

•  This week was far more vacationy then the week meant for it. Finally broke down and got Cyberpunk 2077, so Judy Alvarez will return eventually for sure, along with Meredith Stout and Rebecca in time. Always was a fan of the genre. Music mostly.

•  As stated the other day on X, the Violet Parr animation isn't ready yet. It gets larger and longer and better, with some animated sequences that are new to me, but have turned out really well. Like this preview: How often have my animations shown the insertion bits? Rarely, and kinda 'eh' at that, if ever. That should be a thing of the past now. I like transitions, showing time progressions, characters getting tired/etc. Hoping to get things like clothing removal sections created for projects in time. Preludes and such.

•  Worked on my shadow/lighting some. The Violet project is pretty good. A little rough to tell in previews though. Vixen from DC Comics needed poked at to see how the model faired. Both are nice, I think. Also picked up several new models this week from various places; some free, some not. Lili Rochefort (Tekken 8), another Harley Quinn and a Batman (Suicide Squad game), Mirabel Garlic (Harry Potter), and uh, I think a few others I can't recall right now. Nothing is planned for any of them yet. Still trying not to overload the workload. Still failing at it slowly but surely.

•  Lastly, not sure if I'd mentioned before but: I've commissioned a model to take the place (probably) of most, if not all, holiday themed projects. She's not an OC, but a character I've liked since way back in 'the day'. Some of you might know her. Some of you might not. Keeping the rest secret til I've got her. She's gonna run me a fair amount, but I think she'll be worth it.

•  Misc. Updates

•  Well: my 'vacation' didn't go well at all. The things I had planned didn't work out and I ended up working anyways. I was going through old saves, clearing things out, and I found a partial project with Violet Parr that was pretty good. Seems I had another section of Biggest Fan that, for whatever reason, was abandoned. So, I've been fixing it up for a full release. I hope to have it all sorted by next Saturday.

Weekly WIP #44

• Yeah, I spent the week practicing and doing small things like a little meme video posted to Twitter of Nani from Lilo and Stitch dancing. It was quick and rough, but cute I think and was fun to do. Didn't realize how nice Nani's thighs were on that model. They jiggle further down than any model I've used. It would give her more of an impact motion, so might use her in a holiday project sometime.

• I decided to practice general posing. Never hurts to get better in any aspect. So, I picked a pic I liked and Violet Parr seemed fitting based on size. For another quick throw together, it came out well. Separated the renders, in case anyone wants them.

• I keep thinking that I'm not "official" til I make something Star Wars, so, I am. Jawa Sex Slavers. Another thing based on a picture but changed quiet a lot and it'll be an animated loop. Also, unlike the picture's single angle, it will have a few angles.

• Lastly, I really like Alan13 models. I've raved about them more than once on my Discord. Seeing as how I gave Alan13's Hermione Granger the best wet textures I've ever managed, I really wanna use her in something. Then I recalled that Halloween project last year that was postponed, and then I realized that based on the setting and theme, even if I don't get it finished in time, it can still work as a general release. Anyways, about the animation. As you can see from the book cover I made for it, Hermione is reading up on werewolves and as you can see from the preview of her, well, things are about to get 'hairy', cause it's 'Harry' Potter, and werewolves are h... ok yeah, anyways. The original Halloween idea was with an adult version of Creepy Susie from uh, some cartoon I never watched. Apparently, she was born on Halloween. At any rate, Hermione took over that project. Susie can be used in something else later, maybe.
