Metal Gear - Eva is coming along well. Some of the lighting is giving me issue, but the position, which I thought was going to be a disaster, turned out great.

    So, this machine is on a swivel with tracking software or some such. It keeps itself nice and aligned with her, so wiggling around won't help.

    Not sure on what gag to use. At the moment she has a bit gag, but I'm thinking a tape might work well. Once I start on her expressions I'll sort it.

    As you can see, I've set up a camera screen next to her head to show what else is going on at the moment, for the reactions. I'm probably going to do several camera motions and styles, so multiple renders for this one. A pan camera or two, a stationary facing her with the side screen showing the rest, a camera that jumps from point to point with the music, etc. One of them will be free released, the others for Tier 2+.

    Still no name for it. I don't know the Metal Gear universe well enough to really get a feel for one. Might just do a generic name, like Ivy had. "Black Menagerie - Metal Gear - Eva". That'd be enough, really.

    I'm enjoying working on this project.

    Well, it took a few days to just sort what to do with Eva. I was looking for an interesting position; preferably one I'd not used yet. I found one I like. A lot actually. I thought about not showing her in the machine to save it for a later preview, but decided to show it anyways.
    Keep in mind this is a very rough put together. Early creation and all that. It's coming along nice though I think. You all like it?
    The lighting might end up a bit odd for this. Her eyes like to glow when the lighting is on them a certain way. Oddity with the model's material files, but something I can work around, or maybe even edit/fix myself later. As you can see in one of the pics, they look fine there.

    So I've been trying, and not being very successful, at making longer, more involved animations. I'm going to go back to Poison Ivy and Samara/Morinth styles. In other words, shorter (1-2 songs) with a slight buildup/intro. I've been finding it hard to get rock/metal music I like and can freely use, or music I think it thematically correct for the animation (I.E. music that sounds like Mortal Kombat style for a Sonja Blade animation, etc.) so a lot will be club/rave instead. Black Menagerie is a club, after all, so it fits. Mass Effect and Cyberpunk animations galore!
    I am tempted, to be honest.
    Lastly, I understand that despite my own thinking that the red lighting on Christmas 2026 was the more interesting part, most people seem to dislike it greatly. I'll stick to lighting more akin to Pound-Her.

    Here we are, once again, with my yearly compilation of anything of significance released or posted this year. Nearing the end of the year, I always feel like I've not released enough things overall til I do these yearly reviews and actually count them.

    Like usual, these are not just animations, but also images on occasion and they're not only things released here, but from Rule34, Iwara, even Discord (where the images often go). Most things do get released here though, so. Sort of a big trailer or portfolio.

    Anyways, enjoy Year 4. Time to start working on things for Year 5.

    And here we are, once again nearing the end of 'my' year; December 25th is my personal yearly anniversary for releases, for those who don't know. As usual, I sit and think I've released nearly nothing, only to find out once I start sorting everything for the Yearly Review video that I've made, on average, an animation every month or more. No, they're not giant Valentine's Day releases, but they're something decent.

    Christmas 2025 is ready to go. Just needs the 25th to come along. That being said, Christmas falls on a Thursday. Assume the Weekly for next week to be canceled. I like to release on Saturdays, but not holiday date specifics. January 3rd, 2026, will be the release of Year 4. Probably gonna reuse music for it. I've found it a bit harder lately to find music I like for Black Menageries, so I certainly don't wanna waste the use of one on a recap video.

    Looking ahead some to 2026, an obvious 'need to do' is finish the Black Cat animation. It hit some major hangups and completely got sidelined, but I've not forgotten it. I also have an animation to sort and make for Eva from MGS, since she won that recent poll. I also had been pranking with a Farah Karim from Call of Duty idea. I've wanted to use her for some time now. The preview pics this week are of a possible intro/trailer animation like how Valentine's Day had. Farah Karim finds herself being transported to who knows where in an uncomfortable way. Hope the road isn't bumpy.

    Other than those, and a possible couple I probably have forgotten about, 2026 is wide open for ideas. Where will the year take us? HIT THAT LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE TO FIND OUT!
