So the 'which do you prefer' poll was interesting. It nearly came out even, with Merry-Go-Pound 'winning' in the end. It was my most popular poll yet. Both ideas will be attempted, and most likely come to some kind of release since neither seem to complex, but since Merry-Go-Pound won the poll I'll start it first; and yeah, that'll be the project name. In fact, it might end up with two different animations in time, since I have this Batgirl version stuck in my head but it'd only work well with some voice lines, so I'd need to sort that. I have a few ideas that are stuck in limbo because of voice lines. A very specific Incredibles comes to mind, but I won't AI them, but I can't afford them either, so limbo for now.

    Awhile back Marie Rose took the place of Gwen Tennyson as the de facto Holiday animation character. She wasn't in anything for Halloween this year. I rectified that by making a looped animation with her, bringing this year's Halloween release total to 3 projects. Actual release number is now 1 video, 2 loops (same animation, different sounds), 8 pics (4 with and 4 without watermarks). Sadako from The Ring (the video) was the only original project, but messing around with a new model I ended up with some pics, and then like I said about Marie's new loop. So surely there's something for everyone.

    And yes, they are all free releases. Like always, Holiday projects are free, even the alt versions. Makes the end of the year's run a big ass freebie.

    That can be taken either way, but yeah, rendered and compiled; ready to go on Halloween which falls on a Saturday. Handy. "Quality Assurance" (my friend who gets to view everything) tells me the visual quality is, for some reason, a little less than some others. No idea why, since it's the exact same settings in SFM and Vegas as everything else since who knows how long now. It's not No Cure bad though; it's still fine. Just. Less? I dunno. You all can see it then and judge. Maybe it was the lighting.

    So many ideas floating around. So many new ones pop in or get tossed at me. It can be a bit much, really. Been harder to focus for awhile now. I think maybe it's a lack of theme direction, and by that I mean since I don't have a constant kind of theme/genre maybe I bounce around trying to find it or something. Things just don't seem to click and go like before, which sucks, so sorry if I seem a bit scattered still. Right now I have probably a dozen, at least, ideas going; none of which grab me like things did before. I was actually working on a new idea last night when I got some things suggested to me that I immediately changed to. Not hard to derail me, that's for sure, but the new ideas are more engaging. I really like the weekly Discord Streams. They keep me focused on something. Shame Discord is shit and I'm trying to find an alternative.

    So, Halloween is now coming up, so Halloween 2026 is about to start rendering; Sadako (The Ring) for those who might not know who this year's features. I do have a few still images to release near Halloween as well; just some mess around stuff. With Halloween 2026 being rendered soon, keep in mind the Weekly will pretty much be "is still rendering!" for the most part.

    I have a lot of models. Too many, maybe. Some favorites, some hated, some that have never seen the light of day, let alone been used for anything. So many I often don't even know who I have. So on that note....

    I'm thinking of just spawning in literally every character model I have (that would be of use, not the generic background whatevers) and listing who they are to keep in some kind of massive list. Might be useful not only for my own references, but say, I wanna do a Harley Quinn thing. I could toss all the different Harley pics up and be able to quickly decide which of the 9 or so I have to use. Classic will always be the best!

    Could also be useful for polls.

    Yeah, omg, spawned in T-pose! (Or A-pose sometimes) These are for reference, not the jerky jerky. That comes later. So yeah, I'll probably expand upon that. Would even help me clean up the files.

    Since Halloween and Christmas are both way ahead of the usual schedule for this time of year, I've been pranking around mostly and taking some time off. The Harley Quinn and Azula things are examples of pranking with ideas; these pics of Juliet Starling from Lollipop Chainsaw as well.

    Halloween will start the render process soon; probably off and on with it in the coming week. I'd thought of a few more Halloween themed animations/pics, mostly just for testing newer models. Some might be releasable.

    But yeah, holiday animations are the typical driving force right now and I'm so ahead this year it's a good time to be calm and just mess with stuff.

    I really need to get something going with Zjai, my OC.

    I have an ok model of Rosalina from Super Mario Brothers and messed around with it. It's not some complex animation; very simple even, but I figured I'd toss it out anyways just cause. It's a crude animation, mostly made for fun and something to do one night when I was simi drunk. Might have taken me 20 minutes to make in total. Have fun all the same.

    Some poster renders from the Touhou Project thing (Blue hair and Green hair girl). Not really sure what the original concept for it was. I found this while clearing out files and figured I could make it into something. I have it all mapped out, I think, for angles/changes. Just need to fix the animations for each and sort some sound. Pretty much the lighting you see in the pics is the way it'll be lit. I gave it better lights then SFM Stage Map default, but honestly a lot of what makes them interesting looking (that almost drawn cartoon style) gets lost in it, so I'm keeping it how it is.

    I've started up, very early and roughly sorted, an animation with Sherry Birkin from Resident Evil. Like all of @SourceModelMaker's models, she's great. I can even use Grace Ashcroft clothing pieces on her. (Underwear items, not like her known outfits.)
    So far, I'm really liking how it's going. I don't wanna show too much though incase things go awry. Trying not to hype things too much before they for certain will be a thing. The pic of her below is the preview pic by SourceModelMaker, not my own.

    Lastly, not sure if I'd mention it already other than the Discord, Halloween 2026 - Sadako and Christmas 2026 - Marie Rose are render ready. Might even do that soon to get it out of the way. Still free for those, if anyone was thinking otherwise. Holiday stuff will always be free. That pretty much clears up what would normally occupy the rest of the year. I do kinda wanna try to poke some more Halloween things maybe, if only some pics; maybe a looped thing like that Connie Taylor in the closet.

    So I took some time off this week, kinda. I still made a new banner for things. It was time for it. Lae'zel from Baldur's Gate 3, Chloe Price from Life is Strange and Barbara Gordon from DC Batman. I like the 3 girl combos and chose 3 that again already had projects released with them. Took longer to make this new one, since the Black Cat stalled. Now that it's released, voila. So below are the various renders. Not sure if Lae'zel is pissed or intrigued. Maybe both.

    The Touhou Project continued animation is gonna take a little bit to sort how to continue it. It was a practice piece and pretty old now, so I'm having to basically reverse engineer it to see how I have the bones locked, rigged, etc. before I can continue it onward. I'll get it though.

    I wanna do these like, verses animations. Crossing the Line with Samara and Morinth from Mass Effect were meant to do this tug-o-war style, but they just didn't animate well, but the concept is still fun. Some Discord posts recently had some verses style pictures, so the interest is once again high. I have a few combos in mind to use; obvious ones really. Miranda Lawson vs Jack from Mass Effect, as an example. Any combo of Dead or Alive would work too. Anyone have combos they'd find fun? Feel free to comment them.
