Sancus Program 2 Trailer (Mass Effect)


  •  Full release scheduled for 5-25-24 (Next Saturday).
  •  No Weekly WIP since it's nearly all finishes and renders for Sancus Program 2.
  •  The music in the trailer is only for the trailer. It's not the music for the actual release.
  •  The position is not the same as in the trailer. They are different. Yes, two positions.

Weekly WIP #70

  •  Sancus Program 2: Mass Effect - Miranda Lawson
  •  Misc. Rambles

  • Sancus Program 2's intro is nearly finished. (First picture) The outside background isn't as complex this time around. I like it though. Jacob isn't still out there. He's not the 'easter egg' this time. Some more effects and light adjustments should have it ready. Section two still has some work, but it's all coming along. The trailer for it will be shown roughly the week before render. Preludes and such.

  •  Worked some on a project to be released later this year. (Second picture) Thought I'd show some of the scene setup for it. Several little ideas floating around as well, but nothing even started. Pretty sure the next big thing I start will be another full Black Menagerie animation; Ashley Grahm and Poison Ivy styles. Originally, I was going to do everything in that style, tedious as it can be to animate. Some concepts just don't work with it or doesn't need as much of a club setting. Valentine's Day or Hostile Takeover for examples. Or even the Sancus Programs.

  •  Trying to do better with keeping track of all the projects though so nothing gets lost. Kinda hard to do. Far too easy to jump around or when a neat idea clicks to run off and poke at it. I'll make a second list, Created Projects, to go along with my list of Project Ideas.

Weekly WIP #69

  •  The Incredibles - Helen Parr/Elastigirl
  •  Sancus Program 2 (Mass Effect - Miranda Lawson)
  •  DC Comics - Zatanna Scene Build

  •  As I said in one of the Biggest Fan postings, I really wanted to do something with Helen Parr/Elastigirl. So I thought I'd hint at it in the ending of #3, then do something with her later. Well later came a little faster than intended. Just getting the basics of it sorted so far. Might have to do a poll just to see whose butt is nicer; Helen or Violet. Helen might have the size, but Violets is nothing to ignore.

  •  Sancus Program 2's extended section is, in my and my 'Quality Control Viewer's opinion, turning out better than the starting section. I like her position more in it. Just feels more 'grr'. The butt pic is section one pose, the face is from section two. Section two is also going to be nice for people who like feet. Also trying something new for me; crying. Hopefully it turns out nice. So far, it's pretty decent; at least enough to keep in it, not that it was a major showing anyways.

  •  Lastly for this week, a DC Comics Zatanna scene build. On my Discord awhile back there was a conversation about magic themes, and she was brought up in it. I knew of a half decent, if not very cannon for body size, model of Zatanna and an idea was formed; so I started to build a scene around her putting on a magic show.

  •  Posting this I see last month was a pretty big month for releases. They might not have been huge ones like Valentine's Day, but they took over the Weekly. Also, if I'd noticed earlier that this was Weekly #69 I would have at least made a poster on a 69 theme as a 'funny ha ha' thing. Alas, I did not.

  •  No ETA on Sancus 2, in case anyone was wondering. I have a small trailer for it to be released the week prior. Not staying 100% focus on a single thing is keeping me from burning out, but it does slow down a specific projects creation since I bounce around and even get lost. I should probably forcefully limit myself on how many things I have going.

Weekly WIP #62

  • Sancus Program 2 (Mass Effect) - Miranda Lawson
  • Untitled (Cyberpunk) - Judy Alvarez

Most of this week so far has been rendering Judy for release. I tend to release in place of Weekly WIPs, but this one will most likely finish on like Wednesday or something, so it'll be released whenever it's done. It's also a long loop like how Yellow Turban was. I never had much in the way of length for it, so it's not being 'cut down' or anything. Basically, it's about how I wanted it to be. It will be a Supporter+ release though.

When not rendering it's been Sancus 2. That one is nowhere near ready. Intro/outro are still 100% idea phase; nothing is made of those yet. It's maybe a third of the way finished and as you can see from the pick, the guard has company this time.

Short and simple. But there it is.

Weekly WIP #61

  • Sancus Program 2 (Mass Effect) - Miranda Lawson

    It's the only project I worked on this week. I discovered I'd been breaking the flexes by accident and saving them so I had to solve that issue without killing what was already going. Wasn't that hard a fix, just a tedious and long one. Spent a long time the other day sorting assets from Sancus 1 that needed transferred to 2. Gotta stay consistent. Also started a little trailer for 2. I liked Jills "Valentine's Day" trailer a lot and wanna do more of those. This one's trailer will sorta work like a Sancus 1.5 loop.

    I've been tweaking the lighting/shadows more and more and I'm very happy with it now. The console screens are coming along well; not all are shown in the previews. I'd thought about another fully animated window scene but instead decided to just make a nice view. Doesn't mean the inside of the room won't have things going on in the background though.

    The room is about 70% or so finished, maybe. Still no tech(s) or consoles, just screens and some tanks. I did shrink the room too. It was pretty massive. Originally I think I had a large machine in mind or something. Also, where'd the guard go? A Discord follower suggested using a 'not standard' Cerberus troop and I decided to try some. So, the usual guard will have company at least. It helped with an idea I had for the before mentioned background.

    Comparing Sancus 1 and 2 already lets me see how much better I am at all this; even something as simple as tilting a camera just a little can make such an enormous impact. Using more highlight lights, better knowledge of the shadow settings and the colors, etc. Like that window background isn't casting light on its own. Those are mine.

    Lastly I'm not sure how long I want it to be. Right now it has 2 songs, and will run around 6ish minutes, most being the machine going. I could loop the songs easy enough though and stretch it all out...hur hur. Get it? Anyways...
