Worldbuilding:
  • Gymufaeth Host I: The naval branch of the Snow-Scaled Host, founded in the fifth century of the First Era of Mending. Formed after the alliance of the Snow-Scaled Coven and the Coven of Gymuron, God of the Seas, Memory and Destiny in the northern pantheon. Besides the two, smaller mercenary companies also joined and formed into the North’s first armada to act as constables of their seas. In the east, they raided the myriad isles that later formed into the Hoshigawan Shogunate, whom they later with conquered and beaten down the corsairs of the Midnight Isles. On the western side, one of their exploring vessel vanished, known to become the Lost Armada historians theorize may have delivered the first northerners to the shores of Eoran.
    • Presently (500-1100 NDE) the branch is led by Hersith Argasar, the first orc in the history of the Coven who reached the rank of Hersith. A brave sailor who hailed from Southern Eoran, migrated to the north where he enlisted in the academy of Ang-Thaugthur. Served and distinguished himself in the Great War, where he broke the Heartlenders blockade of Eoran’s eastern shores, and even formed his own around the Albionian Archipelago in the last stages of the war.
  • Fafmariarh of the Gymufaeth Host [500-1100 NDE]: Lowest, common rank within the host, marine infantry and constables on their seavessels, ports and oceanic bases.
    • Uniform: A double-breasted, angular coat of waist length, featuring a high funnel-type Bulwark collar with molded to resemble a swirling, slender whirlpool, structured shoulders on the sides with a sailor-style cloak added to it, long sleeves of their uniform double-strapped cuffs, hem short at front and back, lengthened at the sides to their knees in the resemblance of loincloths. Underneath the coat, the same dark button-down shirt and neck tie combination of taffaerna arcane-fabric, whilst below the same tight-fitting and high-waisted breeches, high-shafted boots with pointed toes and folded down rims. Though unlike the Hvirtvia Host, their coats, breeches, gloves and boots all are tinted in the blues of the ocean, whilst decorative elements gleam in a brighter silver.
  • Mossundeil: Second largest port city of the Noyachny Heimrad, found beyond the titanic peaks of Eptirrion, built upon a plateau. A city which survived numerous invasions, blockades from the enemies of the kingdom, presently face an infestation from the underworld. Mobsters, terrorists, freedom fighters and pirates all linger in the city, after many of them came wearing the masks of honest, good-natured folk coming to aid in the rebuilding of the city after the Great War.
  • Boyevierh: Enforcers, high ranking soldiers of the Noyachny Mobsters, often carrying out gigs of their superiors. One Boyevierh has their own mini-crew, consisting of at least six or seven soldiers.

Weekly Updates:
  • This week was a bit slow in progress of the two editing. Mostly, because just realized I have mostly editing that remains, so took a little break, did mostly just some outlining for next year. Ideas and such for the storylines.
  • Likewise, was thinking whether to upload an unedited version of Selindrae’s tales, but decided nah. The first two will mostly just get some grammar checks, maybe a few extra supporting sentences. The third not sure, my sole problem is if I could fit in the foreshadowing for the Second Void War or not. But probably will leave it out.

Worldbuilding:
  • Eminent Covens of Heleion are the covens of witches, wizards, sorcerers living in a flock. A flock which grew in size, power and garnered influence comparable to the governments/states of Heleion. Either by gobbling up other covens into themselves like the Snow-Scaled done so, or through schemes and centuries of planning, like the Hoshigawan Coven and the Black Rose Order/Coven. Most of the Eminent covens are found ruling in the northern regions of the pan continent of Heleion, from Naireanth to Grauburg. And even Eoran’s southern landmasses are reigned by the Lesser Courts, though with less influence than their siblings across the ocean.
    • Covens with considerably less influence and power in stately matters are known as the Ascendant Covens. These include the four Myelian Militant Sects in the Heartlands that later conjoined into one in the early centuries of the Age of Greater Exploration.
    • Though the Eminent Coven of Eoran call themselves the Lesser Courts, they do so out of reverence and respect towards the Fae/Fey of Eoran, whose Higher Courts blessed them, sheltered them throughout the long centuries, before the arrival of the Empire.
  • The Grand Guilds of Heleion similar to the Eminent Covens, are guilds who amasses power, wealth and influence that elevated them onto the same standing as governments. Like the Eminent Covens of the North, The Grand Guilds possess their own military arms through which they enforce and protect their holds and mercantile routes. Most prominent of these Grand Guilds is the Validurian Guild who started out in the Arghyrian Empire, founded by a distant cousin of the Last Emperor. During its inception, it mended relations with the Eoranians a century after the War of Freedom and Sovereignty, and after the Great War, aided in the reconstruction of the Heartlands which led them to become the third Grand Guild in the history of Heleion, the first which dealt in actual goods, rather than martial services like the Seekers Union or the adventurer’s guild.
  • Seeker’s Union: A guild of mercenaries for hire, bodyguards, lawful assassins and private investigators created not long into the Second Era of Mending, when a schism tore adventurers away from the old guild founded by the heroes of the First Crusade. Though no one knows the exact reason, some cite certain nobles tempting their sponsored adventurer teams to demand higher percentage from the fees, whilst others mention the first assassination carried out by an adventurer as the reason for the schism. What everyone is sure of though, is the quick rise of the Seeker’s Union, becoming equals in power and influence to the new guild of adventurers, whom they came to an agreement that threats including even monsters, undead or otherworldly intruders falls into the jurisdiction of the Union.
  • Rank promotions within all organizations of Heleion follows the same blueprint laid out by Titus Cornelius Leontius made in the first century of the Second Era of Mending. All ranks begin their ascent on the ladder of Rank Hierarchy by becoming Elevated, those who aided in greatly in triumph or merely served the laid out ten years of service. Then is followed by the Exalted with similar criteria, except they years of service needed double. Third are those got Splendid-Auxiliaries, Splendid-Vordriarhs and so on. To be Splendid of a Rank, one must achieve a great feat, that may include the slaying of some great adversary, contributing to the defeat of separatists, rebels and ensuring the restoration of peace. And here, the passing of time in service does not accumulate towards promotion. Last, granting each rank in all organizations quasi-captain/manager responsibilities and power, are the Majestics. To progress through this rank, one must demonstrate intellect necessary for captains, managers or in the case of martial professions, the skill to contend with great threats including wild dragons, necromancers of the greatest skills, and intellect necessary to join the ranks of great witches, wizards and sorcerers who further the arcane sciences of Heleion. If all these criterions are met, the individual can begin their journey into the next rank–usually of a more special nature, where the same but even more arduous journey begins anew.

Weekly Updates:
  • Just want to say before everything, this week gave me a headache in what to include in the worldbuilding. Felt a bit early to include some elements, concepts from the three November tales, but still wanted something. So, on Friday, expanded a bit on my internal concept of Megacovens. See, when I first began now two or three years ago, I wanted to include certain elements from Cyberpunk genre.
  • One such prominent element was the Megacorporations, but wanted to translate them into a setting that was at the time Victorian in my head, with High-Fantasy/DnD elements. But also wanted it to be a military, so turned them into a Megacoven, a term I didn’t want to use, as it felt too anachronistic. Even in post chapter/author notes. For a long while, I put it off, until yesterday, when the idea to have the general term name be Eminent Covens, that surmises well their position in the world.
  • On a shorter note, the other element was the augmentation. But wanted to focus more on bio-augments, translated again in a fantasy sense. So came the Black Roses’ mysterious elixir, that practically elvenizes people, then recently the Snow-Scaled Coven’s that bestow dragonesque features, immortality and strength, increases magical magnitude.
  • And yesterday, also decided to still include Megacorporations, but call them instead Grand Guilds. Like the Seeker’s Union, a Grand Guild of Protection, Assassination, Mercenary Services. Which Selindrae is a member of, whilst also being a sort of diplomat between them and the Black Rose Order/Coven.
  • The decision also came, to spice up the world, add another and more prominent rival to the Eminent Covens of the North. And to differentiate the Heartlands, where the governments still have a bit more influence, and don’t rely fully on the covens or the guilds. Like Arghyria, Franchoi, Esparnia, Albion. Each of which have their own militaries independent [somewhat] from either. The Crescent and the Tear [Far-South] will be a mixture, for the time being. At best, may make them more religious.
  • Anyway, progress wise, the three tales from the Annals of Fame and Glory for this month, I finished. At least with their first drafts, but compared to the Spookinktober stories, I am more satisfied with them, so I’m mostly going to do small edits. The only exception is the third tale, that needs some fine-tuning. But for the next week, their first versions will go up in early access.
  • Editing progress was a bit slower, mostly added some last ambush, skirmish and battle sections between the separatists and the Black Roses. And done some editing to the main sections.
  • Also started writing up some ideas for next year’s stories. Mostly for the shorter ones, that will include most definitely an old idea that was partially the reason for the whole Void-Between-World era. An apocalyptic world taking over by the fiendish crusaders of lust, or as I refer to them in notes, the Legions of Hectic Desires. Did some preliminary worldbuilding that expands on the demons, particularly those I could use in dark and smutty stories.
  • For longer stories, for the time being all I am certain of, is that the first will continue the cabal storyline, whilst the longer may start the second war in the Void-Between-Worlds between Federation and Heleion. Mostly because the past few months, I was pondering how I could make a Death Star, that operates using sorcery, magic rather than soft science. Though as of now, it resembles more Starkiller Base.

                                                                       Worldbuilding:
  • Korumriadh [Post Civil War, before the First Void War]: Constables, peace keepers of the Sakrath-Ib-Anath, trained in combat and restraining sorceries. Their rank color within the Zamirion (Ground) Host is the pale blue-purple of Periwinkles, found in the southern mountains of Ehruem.
  • Korumriadh Uniform: Follows the ‘windswept’ style of the Sakhrath-Ib-Anath, and the angular silhouette of Elven Clothing. Made from their own materials, arcane-weave leather known as Setanilh–a supple, smooth textured, subtly glossy fabric– and silk known as Khorsiedna–a mellow, supple textured silk of pearlescent gloss. And Murghieth, a smooth and glossy velvet used for their berets, and the inner lining of their coats, breeches, skirts and boots.
    • An onyx black leathery coat of single-breasted design and waist length, made with a deceptive wrapped closure. Magnetic buttons line the closure, keeping it tight in place. The standing, funnel-shaped cowl-collar and the structured, flared shoulders are tautened, starched subtly whilst below, the Setanilh is produced softer, almost as soft as silk as it drapes down the torso. Long and tapering sleeves sprout under the pronounced, curved down point of the shoulders; whilst the hem follow a symmetrical, handkerchief style. A broad sash cinches the waist, of warm golden color, a more defined silky texture, and double red striping on the top and bottom rims, fastened on the left side. The rims and stitching of the coat is done with a chromatic silk of arcane-weave, a sun golden.
    • Underneath the coat, they wear a taut-fitting button-down style dress shirt of angular silhouette, chin-high semi-spread collars with crisp edges. Their long sleeves end in button-lined barrel-cuffs, whilst the central button closure itself is hidden under a placket. Unlike the Heartlanders and the Northerners, they use a black Shawl-Tie to secure the buttoned-up collars, a piece looped under the rolled down ‘wings’ and trailing straight down the placket, whilst slithering in an attached golden medallion bearing the Arcane-Eye.
    • Beneath they either wear a high-waisted and Wrapped Setanilh Leather Skirt, secured by a slim sash of the same color scheme as the Coat’s, reaching down to their knees. Or a Battle/Field Breech fitted through the hips and thighs, with a slight flare to accommodate their knee-high boots of pointed toes slightly curved up, and elevated soles usually. Though rarely, they wear a high heeled version.
    • Their head protections include velvety berets mimicking their northern rivals, but also include various shawls or scarfs, turbans wrapped around the heads, covering their faces. Their higher-ranking members also wear gilded Myelian Masks.
  • Sahiraedh [Post Civil War, before the First Void War]: Pure, spellcasting-oriented troops, members of the Sakhrath-Ib-Anath. They are above the Korumriadhs in the echelons of the coven, usually tasked with hunting down rogue sorcerers, warlocks, necromancers plaguing the new alliances territories, researching scrolls and grimoires unearthed from old tombs, providing counsel regarding arcane matters to governors, nobles of lesser rank. Their rank color is the Dark red (with hints of purple) of Garnets, gems often adorning the rings of Sorcerers, witches who used it to boost their own vitality, energies flowing in their anima veins.
  • Sahiraedh Uniform: Follows the same windswept style of the Sakhrath-Ib-Anath, using the same materials.
    • Their onyx black, single-breasted coat of a calf-length follows mostly the same design principles as the Korumriadhs, with the exceptions of the flaring sleeves ending in bell-shaped cuffs, the hem following a layered, round design with rune seamed cloths dangling from the rims, and a broader, open collar often draped down, though if erected, reaches cheek height naturally.
  • Otthoril Valley: A perilous valley found in the south-eastern regions of the Eptirrion. Once was home to a cabal of necromancers, who built an temple to their dread deities, where they launched numerous attacks on the mountain’s folk, taking their people to offer them for great boons. With time, the Nairenthians took care of this little problem, though too late, as the valley remains tainted in necrotic matter even in present day. Though there were numerous attempts, including by a cleric of the Lade of Hope, Goddess of Dawn who settled in an old hunting shack to cleanse away the wickedness. There are also rumors about a certain lich, necromancer setting up shop in the Otthoril Valley after she got chased away from her old home.
  • Nattriarh: Lowest in the echelons of the Raven Eyes, members either fresh out from the Academy, or from the lowest ranks of the other branches who reached their final promotions. Their tasks include guarding the hidden outposts of the Raven Eyes, crewing and patrolling the Stealth-Class vessels of the Eyes, or hired guards for the wealthiest of Naireanth’s society. And on occasion, accompany the Daormaorns or Eyes in their raids. Their rank color is the purple of midnight appearing at the end of summers, heralding the coming of autumns.
  • Nattriarh Combat Uniform: Follows the crisp, angular style of elves, using the top-grade arcane-weave fabrics of the Black Rose Order.
    • A double-breasted coat of waist length, featuring the tiered collar-scheme of the Raven Eyes. Their primary a broad collar with a crisp silhouette resembling a pulled down hood with artificial crimples adding texture to it, and with the zipper striding up on the left side. Within it, is the secondary collar, an elliptical, slim Bulwark-Style collar. The structured shoulders include a sharp upward curve at each outer edge, whilst the sleeves end in cuffs enveloping their hands and fingers once protracted. A softened, dragonidh leather sash cinches the corset-like waist area, often adorned with pouches containing poisons, mana potions, boosters, or even acidic concoctions to melt down obstructions like walls, fences or when a corpse needs to disappear. The asymmetrical hem is lengthened at the back, where it tapers into a sharp point, taking the vague shape of a dagger’s blade. At the front, an embroidered loincloth sprouts, cascades before the legs.
    • Underneath, they wear the same designed Aetherna Satin button-down style dress shirt as the other branches, but with the whole piece dyed their rank’s color.
    • Beneath, they wear tight-fitting, high-waisted dragonidh leather breeches, often equipped with straps holding pouches magnetically, knee-high boots with elevated soles, pointed toes and the top rims folded down.
    • For headwear, they too sport velvety or leathery berets bearing their rank’s color, and half Myelian-Masks covering their eyes and noses, though without a cloth to hide their lips and cheeks. The same mask bearing the blooming lotus rose, its thorny and trailing vines, and two ravens sitting on two thorns pointing at the outer edges of the eye holes.
  • Groen Family: Once a prosperous noble family of the North, known for its many State-Sorcerers/Witches/Wizards/Clerics who enlisted not just in the Snow-Scaled Host or the Black Rose Order, but also in the Arghyrian or Franchoin Legions in the Golden Age of the Empire. Though like with any noble family, their power and influence waned, as others arose, the Dreahal Family enacted new laws, granted rights to commoners to rise beyond their stature. And a certain member who spent a few years in the fallen Arghyrian Capital, attending its Arcane University where she came under the tutelage of Daemerius, the future Regent-President who hurled the world into the greatest war it ever experienced. In which she fought under her master, and evaded prosecution after Daemerius was slain.
    • Now Nea roams the world, furthering her necromantic knowledge, gathering her own undead servants, and amassing forbidden relics of the past, that should have remained buried, forgotten.

                                                                   Weekly Updates:
  • So, the last tale went up yesterday to Subscribestar/here, and preliminary outlining began on the November story featuring Selindrae. Three short tales that will be, I plan to finish on the first week of November, just to focus on editing the December story.
  • Was thinking of including the Daormaorns, their uniform in this weekly update, but decided against it as they will feature in the Deal of the Revolution. Thanks to Vjeriina being a major character in the events that shall unfold in the Umbrillien Fortress.
  • The three tales will feature one returning minor character, that was recently featured, another new Seeker I plan to use in the future, a male one just to expand on the character roster, whilst the third tale will be based on a certain Cyberpunk 2077 gig/mission. Loosely based in fairness. Timeline wise, the first two tales will be before the Neo-Dawn Era’s first millennium, whilst the third will be set in the twenty-fifth century, I believe near where I plan the Second Void War to break out. The second major storyline of sorts, though still set on Heleion. As most of the stories on that parcel of the timeline are set in the Void Between Worlds.

                                                                                Worldbuilding:
  • Daevahr: 11th Month of the Crescent and Tear Calendar, second month of the autumnal season. In the south, during these times festivals are held to honor the fallen.
  • Heillaeths of the Black Roses I. [500-1000 NDE]: Sorceresses, witches, wizards of the Svartvia Host trained in the arcane arts of restoration, involving both physical and mental ailments. Their rank color reflected upon their button-down shirt’s collars, hem, cuff, trim and ornamentations is the red of Bloodstone. Minerals often ornated the cloaks, robes, amulets of ancient healers, or embedded into the head of their staves.
  • Heillaeth Uniform I. [Svartvia Host of 500-1000 NDE]: Follows the scheme of the Svartvia Host and overall angular style of Elves.
    • A coat of Dragonidh Leather with Aetherna Satin quilted inner lining, the outer texture raven black, the inner snow-silver [Silver endowed with the blue of ice, distilled subtly by the pristine white of snow]. Its collar a stiff circle, a Ring-Shape with ample space, shoulder padded and often adorned with a short leathery silk cloak, sleeves long and end in softly heptagonal cuffs, the waist follows the same corset-like design with a belt, the hem asymmetrical, shorter on the left, lengthened on the right whilst the middle is vented.
    • Beneath, they wear the snow-silvery dress shirt of the Black Rose Order, its collars, hem, cuffs, trims and inner lining match their rank’s color. Its button closure concealed under a placket seamlessly melding on the front, its spread-collars points mildly lengthened, and when folded down, a lower magnitude shapeshifting enchantment endows its ‘wings’ with a mild curve.
    • Both pieces bear the Sigil of the Black Rose Coven upon their backs.
    • And underneath, they wear mostly high-waisted skirts of dragonidh leather and knee-high boots of elevated soles, pointy toes. Seldom do the Heillaeths wear pants, mostly when on field duty.
  • Vordriarhs of the Hvirtvia Host I. [600-1100 NDE]: Constables, peace keepers of the Snow-Scaled Coven, trained in combat and restraining sorceries.
  • Vordriarh Uniform I. [Hvirtvia Host of 600-1100 NDE]: Follows the scheme of the Hvirtvia Host and the overall angular style of Elves.
    • A pure snow-white and double-breasted coat of Beornid Leather with a refined, burnished sheen, supple and buttery smooth texture capable of faint crinkling. Its collar adheres to the traditional warden and constable coats in the north, a high and starched, so-called Bulwark-Collar enveloping their necks. Its shoulders structured, adorned with oblong epaulettes, the sleeves seamlessly welted to it, both end in double-strapped angled cuffs. The hem the same as their Sister-Coven’s, asymmetrical, short on the left, longer on the right. The coat piping is often a dimmed silver, whilst the padded, silky inner lining black as jet.
    • Their shirts likewise high-collared, a concealed button closure, with a magnetically locking placket. Spread-collars with elongated points, resembling the segmented bat-like wings of dragons once folded down properly, and on the sides, padded shoulders. Flared sleeves with folded back and fastened cuffs (if need arises). Made from Taffaerna Weave produced and developed by the Coven itself, a fabric with subtle, moderate gloss and velvety smooth texture, overall, a duller fabric compared to the Aetherna Satin of the Roses, as the coven focuses more on its protective qualities. Dyed jet-black with often contrasting snow-white decorative rims and neckties.
    • Their leg and footwear include the snow-white tight-fitting and high-waisted skirts and breeches (the latter endowed with enchanted pouch pockets like their coats], whilst the jet-black boots are high-shafted with the top trims folded down, front snow-white lacing, and the toe area rounded.
    • Decorative elements following Elevation in Ranks includes: Dragon-Scaled Texture added to coats, pants; Piping of the Arm-Bands and Uniform; Chrome Inlaying; Claw Pins on the epaulettes and nametags; Valknut Pins for the tributary thegriths.

                                                                     Weekly Updates:

  • Finally finished with editing of the October, story. Took a bit longer than I expected, and may do another round as I was sitting over the second tale, contemplating on certain segments, but nothing came. But next week, I’ll start uploading each, one by one. End result is currently sitting at 13k words, with the first and last tale being the two longest.
  • Progressed more with the Deal of a Revolution story. Originally the first few chapters were more or less focused on setting up characters, but also decided to add one or two ambush segments to them, to also introduce the conflict earlier in the Hinterland. A bit more screen time for Acalin.
  • And for the next few weeks, I probably start incorporating more uniform descriptions, designs in a similar form above. Then gather them into a single file, as going forward, want to minimize or not include paragraphs for uniforms, just include them here and there. Include them when there is motion in the text. And to force myself from needless redesigns.
  • Which came, after I decided to expand the Snow-Scaled Host (now technically Coven), will plan to do the same with the Grauburgians, Hoshigawans and Eoranians going forward.
  • Lastly, began outlining the November story, part of the Annals of Fame and Glory, a series of stories focusing on adventurers (where probably most of the Chronicles stories will end up in the future), the Seekers (who are adventurers seeking fame in the dark recesses of cities). In this case, as mentioned two weeks before (I believe) will have three short tales of Selindrae, stretched across time. Slightly more action oriented, with a little bondage.

Worldbuilding:

  • Bveriudur: 11th Month of the Northern Calendar, 31 Days long, the darkest of the autumnal season, often associated with dark spirits, warlocks and witches often find it easier to commune with their patrons, hold their secret Sabbats away from civilization.
  • Soulreavers: Unsullied undead where the soul imprisoned within the vessel keeps it from rotting away. The imprisoned souls are slowly stripped off their faculties, gradually become an extension of the necromancer, in some cases, erudite wizards theorize they become a second, spare body for the necromancer. Though how they achieve keeping the soul from passing on, remains a secret to most.
  • Atropos: Dominus of Death’s Hunger, a Dread Regent of the Black Meadows in the Umbral Domains, one suspected as the chief patron of former Regent-President Daemerius who left the former capital of Arghyria infested with undead and servants of the Dominus hungering for anima, souls of the living. Despite its horrid reputation of a ceaseless appetite for souls, one of the most cordial of the Dread Regents.
  • Ang-Thaughtur: Towering capital of Northern-Eoran under the full jurisdiction of the Kingdom of Naireanth. A gargantuan spire spanning nearly a thousand kilometers across the Oidcherin Meadows, whilst scraping the passing clouds with its flat, pronged 350th top level. The oldest structure, predating even the natives of the continent, built by the Higher Courts of the Fae, who occupied not the city, merely resided there during their jaunts into the mortal realm. Later, they allowed their ‘children’ to settle and sprawl within, then when the Heleionians arrived, took the city in the Hundred-Year Siege, and now reside there themselves, mingled with the descendants of the first fey-touched.

Weekly Updates:

  1. Not much to report. The unedited version of the Spookinktober story is up on Subscribestar, started working on the editing, hopefully next week all four will be up.
  2. For that, the editing on the December story falters a bit. Also begin some preliminary outlining on the November story/tales.

                                                                   Worldbuilding:

  • Myeinus: 32-day long month of Spring in the Heartland Calendar. Named after the Goddess of Magic and Magnificence.
  • Aurorinus: 33-day long month of Winter in the Heartland Calendar. Named after the Goddess of Dawn, Love and Wisdom venerated in the Heartland nations. In the North and South, recognized as the Goddess who heralds new beginnings, the Lady of Hope.
  • Snow-Scaled Coven I: The largest coven of the North, rivals to the Black Rose Order. Founded in the first centuries of the First Demonic Crusade, established by the skielfrith house of Dreahal who first befriended their winged cousins, rode them into battle against the fiendish hordes. First started out as a knightly coven of their kin, worshipping Aurhmangr, the Great Dragon God of Heleion, mate of Myelia. Though he remained chief amongst their worshipped deities, once they grew in power, gobbled up the smaller covens, incorporated the worship of their deities.
    • Hvirtvia Host: The greatest branch of the Snow-Scaled Coven, ever present in all their heimrads (holdings). Created by Ragnaerh of House Dreahal in the last centuries when his own brother turned against his own family, his own world. For 27 centuries, he led the Host into myriads of battles across the north, before he fell as one of the many who attempted uniting the north during those tumultuous eons. A task which he failed when Freianna withdrew her coven and aid, for reasons lost to history. Presently, it is led by Hersith Sigenoroth, Husband of Lythienne, a daughter of House Dreahal, Hersith of the Black Roses.
  • The Higher Court of Night and Darkness: Higher Court ruled by the Countess of Night, Darkness and all that lurks under Her Veil. Including the bestial predators hunting during the night, spiders who lurk in the dark recesses of Heleion, and the indigenous folk of Eoran, blessed by her essence. Their realm is recognized as Duskfall, a realm of endless night, where the leaves emanate a tenebrous light, a gargantuan silvery disk replicates the grace of the Moon. Known to descend upon the Umbrillien Hinterlands on every 24th of Veitrundur, where her worshippers flock, challenging themselves on a long pilgrimage through the hinterland. It is believed by the native feyfolk of the North, that amongst her many gifts to them, the longer nights each winter and autumn were her greatest.

                                                                     Weekly Updates:

  • So, as of now writing (Saturday that is) the Spookinktober story is almost finished with its unedited version. The last tale remains, one a bit ‘experimental’ in its structure. An idea I wanted to do for a long time in a short story format. Just never put myself to it, believing this structure fits longer stories better. For reasons.
  • Then next week I plan to upload early access to the unedited tales first, then start editing them. The unedited early access will come in one day, the edited as I finish editing them. Story sits at almost 10k words. So, it may take a little while.
  • And lastly, the December story, I hope to finish too, and move on editing the last three or four chapters, then add a few more segments.
  • Speaking of which, these segments of the Deal of the Revolution will focus on secondary characters or minor, practically red-shirts in the Umbrillien Hinterland. The early ones are all ambushes between the Black Roses, Dusk Weavers and the Separatists hiding there. As the story ramps up, these ambushes shift into skirmishes, battles as the goal of the Separatists lie in the old and renovated forth in the heart of hinterland.
