Originated as a group of “Moms with Arms” – a peacekeeping movement during Years of Grim and Fierce Envasions in first century UAA, when many futales and members of law enforcement were drafted to defend borders against Nightmares of Envy, today Madarmiere is the main law enforcement body of the Realms of Bosom responsible for internal security. Bosomian Government, contented to transfer duties of protection, assistance and maintenance of general public order to Herquisitorial Police, entrust Madarmiere with enforcing national laws and maintaining Brestocratic Order, duties which include peacekeeping operations and crowd controls during Flat Justice Riots, security of essential buildings, Jager duties near populated areas, and acting as a military police inside Fortress Cities. CHESTs (Critical Halts, Emergencies and Security Tactics) are highly trained and armed units of Madarmiere, not much different from active military personal, primed to resolve high-risk situations which regular Madarmes are not fit to deal with. All Madarmes are authorized to bear arms, but during regular patrols are restricted to a whip alongside with a basic flintlock or dragon with rubber buckshot cartridges.

Madarmes are know as the most brutal primary law enforcement in Meority, with a permission to use force without warning and perform violent public interrogations, which associated with a permanent state of high-alert over Envious threat and paramilitaristic structure of Madarmiere, but as well with the fact that most officers are of Yeomam class and enjoy open dominance towards Board class. Of course Munelity ladies can’t be arrest, fined or even investigated by Yeomam Madarmes without an official order from chief officers, who are of Munelity family themselves, even if a law was publicly violated.

When it comes to Cults of Envy (which are not rare for the Realms of Bosom due to various reason), Ordono Krano is pressuring Bosomian Government to prohibit its organizations from dealing with Envious threats or at least transfer command over departments which are experienced and equipped to deal with such threats. Ruling Tofar reluctantly comply with this behavior and ignore demands and scolding from Herquisition, thus Madarmiere in Eastern Realm are still carrying out own investigation of Heretic-related reports and send CHESTs to carry out own Cult Hunts, regularly interfering with investigations of Herquisition. Though numerous Gangs of Envy were exposed, existence of some are often denied as a result of haughty and Brestocratic elite culture, but most are accepted as an internal failure and disgrace that should be repaid in full by superiors and Muneles who failed to prevent entrusted subjects turning traitors. Currently worrisome is the involvement of Envious in rising numbers of Flat Justice Riots through the Realms.

A New Year Celebration; An annual festival commemorating birth of Eight Aspects, Exaltation of Eight Sacred tribes, the end of Grievous Strife, global peace among all sistren, and the beginning of Anno Aspecti – the Age of Aspects. Celebrated on Old Year’s Last Day through New Year’s First Day by millions of Meora’s children around the world.

People of Meorenell celebrated New Year Holidays before this, but at different dates in different region, with varying traditions and reasoning, like Feets who were starting new years on first days of sowing, associating it with a cycle of reincarnation and birth of new generations, or Bosomian Fortress Cities where celebrations are extended for whole two week after the First Day, which The Realms to this day are never stingy to reward for yet another year of selfless service and perseverance, delivering biggest feasts with no delay.

In this age, start of New Years falls on last cold days of winter season in southern hemisphere, on a day which is believed to be when First Angels were begotten. It is accustomed to celebrate with all neighbors, family and friends whole night – a meaningful symbol of our united persistence to live and joy even when surrounded by cold darkness, to show dominance of Her Light inside us against Serpent’s encroaching corruption.

Many parents desire for an existence of their children to be spiritually supported by festivity spirit – a new life in a new year, thus many births or conceptions fall on around Zhermerro holidays.

Most New Year traditions are universal among all nations for a long time now, like wishing each other virtues of Aspects, or decorating houses with eight-pointed stars made of Aspect runes, to celebrate birth of each one, and adding more stars with runes of those Aspects whose blessing you wish to receive in a new year. Talking about other common decorations: traditional colors are white, gold, red and green, where white is for glory of Her Light and holy Aspects, gold – for our burning spirit and valorous hearts, red – for beauty and health of bodies we were endowed, and finally green represents surrounding goodness of nature and the existence itself; such decorations may include lanterns, either hanging alone or in group of four – one for each color; light-colored tinsel, to visualize serenity of Her Light surrounding us; big decorative ribbon bows, as it resembles Her holy symbol in a festive way; small round golden bells, to guide souls of ancestors towards feasting and intimidate the Evil.

Hallow Trees became inseparable part of celebration, for they are health and safety of Her body. As such, resembling smaller trees with white bark, their branches, or branches painted white, become part of decoration. Depending on a region and nearby Hallow Trees it is either Birch, Aspen, Alders, Sycamore, Gum, and some others. Though in much of Southern Continent, where only two Hallow Trees were blossomed, Zemerza is more popular – visually similar to Sycamore, but with dark red bark and much more tolerant to cold climate than its relatives, it keeps light-green leaves throughout whole winter and shed them right before spouting new ones.

Celebratory outfits usually comprise of red and green colors, with golden or white wool rims. Common combination is red bottom and green top, with Green Capelets being popular (of course they never red for laity).

Chosen or demanded, it is a duty of many – to put their lives at risk against Hellish Spawn endlessly coming upon shores of Her gorgeousness, craving to consume us. Only no matter how hard our bravest fight they are not perfect. Some of Umbral Horrors intelligent enough can stroll astray from mindless brethren swarms and pass behind our watch, get far into safety of our lands and begin spreading corruption from there. When such happens an armed patrol would be sent to hunt these creatures. Yet, especially during very straining Envasion, every guardian count on a front line and can’t be spared to chase unknown threat within lands where no one lives, which may not even exists and be just a rural gossip. For such, many centuries ago first Jagers were summoned – an honorable profession of independent monster hunters and adventurers who became local heroes, drifting between towns and alleviate them from imperilment of secluded Serpent’s Offspring, pitiful Tarfested and their dark lairs – like a true immune system they eradicate vermin from Her sacred body before it turns into cancer; and centuries later Jagers still commit to this role.

To be one officially today a Jager is required to obtain a permit from Herquisition itself after apprenticeship under another qualified Jager, evaluations of expertise merit, and an additional education on numerous topics, including how to deal with Umbral Remains of slain Beastiary, thus every official Jager is required to be an Engifted of a Spark-grade minimum to effectively learn and perform Tome of Remedy. With a permit Jagers will be directed by any local Herquisition office to inspect accounts of stray Jealous Beastiary, Infernal Miscreations or rampaging monstrous wild animals in a province, then deal with these creatures if danger is real or report back if a threat was greatly underestimated and requires more than a few Jagers. As well they are entitled to receive an official payment for righteous service, can collect appreciation donations from a client and be provided with free sleeping quarters and meals during official stay as part of the payment, be supplied with a minimal provision by Herquisition with no charge, or receive honorary records to be employed by a State for a long-term Jager services with many promised benefits. However, being an official Jager as well brings a lot of mandatory paperwork and collection of mundane reports from all parties involved – to confirm a completion of the Hunt and affirm Remedy of its aftermath. With that, expectation are high, and punishments for failures, cowardice and lies are tantamount.

Honorable profession its, but for various reasons some individuals become Rogue Jagers – unsupported by Herquisition and as well illegal in some region for not uncommonly botched Remedies or for being money-stealing charlatans. Yet, rural settlements in secrecy still may buy services of Rogue Jagers if possible, either because they afraid for official Jagers to arrive too late, because danger is coming from local wild animals which some Jagers not always accept as a job seeing it as “too low” for them, or because it is an inner greed attunes for decisions to buy cheaper services.
