Hi everyone! This is Bridget, lead creator and writer for MA! I lead Messy Studios, a tight-knit team of five or so people who offer their amazing skills to cover art, programming, editing, music and other needs for the game! We're 4 years in development with 2 years to go!

Our main hub for support in funding to help fuel our team's development on the game was over at Patreon, but ab/dl content in general has been shunned by their platform sadly, affecting many creators, including us. Our funding we receive on a monthly basis is very important, otherwise I can't cover the costs for the team's services to keep development moving.

In case you're completely new to what Messy Academy is or MA for short, or who we are and what we do. Read below! ^^

[~Game Summary~]

Messy Academy is an 18+ adult/eroge visual novel that focuses on diapers! It's a general school life, slice of life feeling series that not only focuses on the adult related focuses. But also contains comedy, drama and romance as well!

There is excellent world and character building going on in the game and on the surface. This might just look like another adult porn fetish style game, which it is.. But! It's much more than that and don't expect to jump right into having sex in this game, as it leans more on the realistic side without being too realistic either.

Not to confuse this game or compare it to other diaper fetish games out there, this game does feature actual sex and acts that most games within that genre don't touch often. That being said, this game doesn't have a massive focus on adult baby or abdl aspects either though. (Granted some player options do present more adult baby or diaper content for your own personal experience.)

Who will you romance? 6 main girls & 3 side girls, all with routes to discover. Each girl has their own unique personality, past and secrets to discover! Male & Female protagonist options! MalexFemale content & FemalexFemale content. (Female protag coming in late March.)

[~Story Summary~]

You take the role as either Brandon Wilkins (male) or Blythe Wilkins (female), a 20-year-old decently average, slightly geeky guy/girl that attends an open college in England. Within the two years of attending, they'd befriend Nathan and Joey, as they shared similar interests. They’d typically spend their free time hanging out, playing video games, discussing recent anime series or typical geeky activities they considered. It was clear to them that they’re not exactly outcasts, but they weren’t in the popular group of students either, at best they’d come across as average.

Even with this in mind, things weren’t exactly terrible at the school, but they could feel that something was missing from their college experience. That’s when it finally hit them that neither of them had any luck dating on campus, let alone in their past years before college. They were still virgins and for some people it wouldn’t be a big issue for their age, but they still couldn’t help but feel as if they’re missing out in life. Not only to lose their virginity, but to experience having a girlfriend who connects with them, a girl to share themselves with emotionally and physically, sexually and feel a deep importance to one another for their futures.

With the missing puzzle piece figured out, there still remained the issue of getting a girlfriend. Their luck at the school in the past two years has been very slim and felt bleak to them. They knew their only option was to suck it up and put forth more energy into impressing a girl on campus or seek out a fresh start elsewhere. It became clear to Brandon/Blythe that they needed a change of scenery, a new beginning to start anew.

Brandon/Blythe would begin their search in the weeks that followed their discussion and it’d just so happen, that fate would soon pop into their emails of all places. A simple email with the header “Pembroke Academy is seeking more female students, with a few male students to test our co-ed program, apply today!”.

At first they thought it seemed fishy, like a scam attempt, but their own desire for something new gave them the push to click on the email. The email listed a brief summary, that the school was an all-girls private college located in the Northern countryside of Wales. It mentioned that the school is rolling out a selective program to hand pick a few male students to attend, with the goal of possibly opening the school up for co-ed after Summer if all goes well during the trial period.

Brandon/Blythe couldn’t help but fantasize what it’d be like to attend such a campus with their buddies, before snapping back to reality. The odds of being accepted into this program were probably slim to none, assuming they’d be receiving plenty of applications from guys across the country who offer more as students at such an exclusive private school. [Blythe assumes she could make it in, if there isn't major requirements involved, but she doesn't want to leave her friends behind.]

Regardless, they had nothing to lose by trying at the very least. They filled out the form within the email, tossing down their information, along with their buddies’ details and hit send. Life would continue as normal for a few more weeks without any new emails from the sender and they began to assume it really was just some poor scam attempt.

Then, the day came. Brandon/Blythe noticed an email notification from them, opening it up as quickly as humanly possible! Inside, it announced that not only was their application accepted to Pembroke Academy, but their buddies’ Nathan and Joey were too! They couldn’t believe their luck and even then, they wouldn’t believe it was really happening until everything was officially sorted out for their transfer. It was official, the guys were traveling to Northern Wales to prepare for their new life at Pembroke Academy!

Upon arrival, they'd soon learn of the interesting rules in order to officially attend, leading to Brandon/Blythe's curiosity to discover just what exactly is going on with this school and how it can exist in the first place...

A very unique and story engaging visual novel, that hasn't been seen quite like this before! Regardless of the diaper themes involved, there's a bigger picture and focus in place on ensuring the story is enjoyable and keeping people's attention. Come for the diapers, stay for the story. With expected 400k word count planned, roughly 12+ hours of game time per route, about 75-90+ hours of total content expected by the end!

Unique characters who have great character growth along the way! Each with their own backgrounds, hobbies/interests and personal story that sets them apart. There's a total of nine girls to pursue!

Episode system is meant to act similar to how anime episodes or chapters in other visual novels are like. Each episode will feature a number of scenes taking place throughout a day in the protagonist's life at the academy, while getting to know the girls and leading into a route with a girl, as well as seeing the academy story unfold!

Plenty of meaningful choices, interaction and other gameplay elements to break up the reading! Some choices unlock new paths or focuses later in routes, allowing for a more personal player experience to be had to your liking!

A massive amount of cg art across the game, much of it being animated lightly to boost the experience at times! With this, we also have plenty of smaller effects for the sprite character art and screens to ensure the game feels more lively along your adventure!

[6] (Sfx/ambience is next in development)
A beautiful, uniquely made soundtrack and sound effects. All produced originally and only for MA!

Partial voice acting! Each character has a limited amount of voice lines heard!
(Possibly full voicing if funding allows for it!)

Plenty of side content to explore, with plenty of replay value! Ranging from different choices, unlocked content from variables to personal routes and a mix of all of the above!

Male & Female protagonist options! Due to massive demand, a playable female is available to experience the same game's story with a few minor differences to make sense of it, but overall still the same experience in either gender you choose to play!

[Once finished you'll sell the game right? When can I expect the full game?]

Our project roadmap currently shows that we'll be done with MA sometime in 2025. We're of course keeping fans and supporters well informed monthly and providing new game updates along the way until then.

Right now we're unsure how to proceed with selling the game. What we might possibly do is offer the base game for free and have dlc content cost a small fee. We want to do what feels fair, but regardless, supporters will likely receive some extra perks for helping fund the game during development.

[What does the funding go towards exactly?]

The funding we receive each month is split up among many factors. Roughly around 20-25% is set aside for yearly taxes to ensure we have the amount needed to cover taxes needed to be paid in to the IRS.

The taxes aside, I'm only the lead creator and writer for the project. So everything else that you see in MA is from very awesome and skilled people who I pay for their work to keep MA progress going. The amount paid to those working on the team varies, but mainly a huge chuck of monthly funding, about 50-60% of our funding goes right into cg art.

Cg art on average costs us anywhere between $200-400+ for new art pieces, based on how many variants, how many characters or how much is seen, amount of details, etc. Our funding can go by pretty quickly because of this as we're always trying to stay ahead on cg art for future content that isn't released yet so that once we do release content, we have all the art to go with it.

Of course at the end of the day, you'll have to judge on your own if you feel there is underlining pocketing of funds or not. We try to be fully open and honest about it, but there's some stuff many of you won't see until it's ready. So even if there's times where it seems there isn't anything much to show, there's always plenty going on in the background for development costs.

With that said. We thank you all for your support, because without the monthly funding we receive. We wouldn't be able to cover costs for many of the aspects we put into our monthly updates for the game. So thank you! <3

[What is expected for new content each month and when are new versions released exactly?]

New content can vary on what is offered, but normally expect about 15-20k word count added of story, some new choices, 2-3+ cg scenes added (many variants), quality fixes, etc.

Our game is offered for free and for supporters, how does that work? We always make sure our supporters have the latest exclusive new content, while the public receives the previous version of the game that used to be for supporters. Every 30-45 days we try to put out a new version of the game, so below gives a example of how this would look between supporters vs public free versions.

v0.20 released on Dec 20th for supporters only. v0.19 released on Dec 20th for public free fans.

v0.21 released on Jan 30th for supporters only. v0.20 released on Jan 30th for public free fans.

See? We want to be fair and offer people the game for free, but we also want to make sure we're giving benefits for our supporters clearly as it does help us keep things moving along in development on a monthly basis.

As for when to expect exact dates for new content? We often express these through our posts and if it's really important for everyone, we'll make the exception to have a public post for all to gather information at once. ^^

[What happens after Messy Academy is completed?]

Once MA is fully finished, there's two possible project plans in our thoughts to choose from. I can't speak too in-depth about these, but I can confirm that they'll still focus on diaper content!

More details of our future project will come after we finish MA.

[What if I don't care about Messy Academy but still want to see something else?]

Luckily we do have future projects we wish to work on, but if you dislike diaper content, you might not be in luck as we'd like to continue focusing on stories that involve this sort of content.

That said, just because this current project is focused around a school setting and mystery, doesn't mean our next project will be set around these genres!

[Why should I support this?]

We enjoy creating and seeing this game come to life, but sadly it takes what little free time we have. Most of us on the team have much of our time taken up by work or school, which eats up a lot of our free time currently.

By supporting the team and this series, you're helping be part of the creation process with this game. Because without the fans and supporters, we're only able to do so much with our skills and free time.

Our ideal goal is to be able to use our skills to turn our hobbies into something we could not only live off of. But also allow us to continue creating a brand of games under Messy Studios to be known for! While giving everyone memorable games that we're known for making. <3
