The results were very insightful and interesting for us! As mentioned in that post, we weren't promising content as a result from this to be added to MA directly. There is a chance for some stuff to sneak in based on these results, as if gives us better insight on what's the most popular interests for many of you and so once again, thank you for providing us with your personal thoughts! ^^
Much of this will be applied to future projects more so, but even with that in mind.. I'd like to briefly highlight some of the more popular results from the voting poll and take these mentions below with a grain of salt! I have to talk to a few others on the team about these mentions before it's confirmed to be added to MA.
So, the number one most popular voted upon kink/fetish on the list was ageplay in general terms. I'm actually bit curious to learn more about that one for what everyone personally likes out of ageplay, but I have to imagine if MA had moments or influence by the player directly to lean into characters getting into "little" spaces and acting in character, but more in that said little space, that'd be ideal for many.
Perhaps we could look into the upcoming diaper influence system and lean into ageplay as part of that system, since there's plans to let players have some free range in gameplay. For example, while in Miki's route, players will get to visually see Miki wear normal, pullup or cloth diapers in cg and sprite art based on what the influence they have over Miki with growing closer to her. Some of that will include certain options along the way that suggest to Miki to better control when she goes potty, or leaning more into encouraging her to embrace using her diapers and ideally options to shift relationships into being dom or subs, etc.
That said, I think ageplay could probably make it into MA linked to the diaper influence system. That whole system will take time to develop and see it fully added into the game, but little by little we'll expand on it to the best of our ability and keep in mind of our limits.
Moving along, the next three results were pretty close to each other! That being the enjoyment for submissive content generally, alongside watersports and scat being highly voted upon!
I think for the submissive content and other mentions, I'd love to hear more thoughts as we had to generally list these without more detail. So, there might be certain aspects that are wanted that's not quite so general and differing ideas on what they like out of X or Y. So, please we'd love to hear more from ya! ^^
It seems like a lot of people lean more into being submissive and while some routes kind of suggest otherwise, where the protagonist seems like they'd be the clear dominant one in a relationship with Zoey or Rachel, we're going to look further into this as a general thing offered to the players. Ideally, allowing you regardless of what route you're in.. You should be able to be the dominant one in the relationship or submissive, each with some interesting results to fit with each character and make sense of why Rachel comes across as the dominant one vs the protagonist along the way. :P
With watersports and scat, I have to imagine these are both implied that this is happening outside of diapers containing these. Hence "watersports" and not "wetting/peeing" and so.. This is something I've been iffy on since the beginning of the project, back when we were on Patreon, as they had some pretty strict rules for what flies over there and since we've moved to Subscribestar, we've been given more freedom.
I've had plans for some level of watersports or general peeing outside of diapers planned for certain routes since the start, but scat on the other hand I know is much more extreme generally speaking for people. Like, someone seeing a character peeing and they're not into it, they might still be okay with seeing it, just not really into it and not grossed out a ton? But scat?.. Well, that's obviously more clear, cut and dry..
I think the results tell us that we could try leaning into offering more choices to players at times that allow for watersports and scat outside of diapers, but it'll be made very obvious to the player in order to avoid certain content they don't wish to see.
Some honorable mentions from the voting poll that were close to 60+ or higher votes, were...
Spanking, Farting, Praise Kink, Hypnokink, Erotic Humiliation, Bondage and BDSM was close! These are things that are still promising to consider for addition to MA or future projects, just at a lower priority and maybe more selective for how it appears. For example, we might see a spanking scene or two along the way during MA's events, but maybe not too much more unless it's more related to dlc content or expanded upon in a similar fashion.
Of course with all that said, we've collected the results as a whole and even stuff with lower votes is still written down and being considered for when scenes are being created, trying to find when certain things just click with the events going on in a natural way and also deliver on the service!

On the sub/dom point, I honestly don't think every character needs to be written in a way where they can be either depending on player choice. I think it's okay for some of the characters to be just one or the other, and it to be clear from early on that they only allow one approach. Some could be entertaining either way, I feel like Heather acting as a sub or Miki as dominant could be interesting subversive scenarios but I don't think it has to be done with every character.
Also, forgot to mention, on the pee/scat thing, I think it would be exciting just to encounter a bit of diaper leakage and possible visuals in a dirty diaper changing scenario. You could warn players about stuff like that beforehand, giving them an option to skip or censor or steer the situation away from more extreme fetish material.
Gotcha! Thanks for your input on the topic! <3 With sub/dom stuff I'd probably add, it is a bit grander in scope if it were possible. So, we'll have to see along the way if it feels possible to lean each route into sub vs dom tones without it being beyond our limits. (Otherwise it'd probably be seen in our future projects.)
Also great ideas regarding pee/scat as a whole! I'll be discussing with our cg artists here soon to check on these, since these shouldn't be too much trouble to include cost and work wise.
I know I am only one person so maybe others disagree but I'd prefer if ageplay and diaper influence were not linked and ageplay was it's own influence separate from diapers.

Oh no worries! ^^" I probably worded it awkwardly in the post, but what I meant by possibly linking ageplay into the diaper influence system is that it'd be optional. There's plans for the influence system to offer players a few different focuses that play into their personal preferences. But if someone didn't want to lean into ageplay stuff, then naturally they'll be able to lean away from that without it being tied to say cloth diapers for characters or anything like that. In short, not trying to attach ageplay to certain visual differences with the influence system, more seen as a optional expansion.
For example: One player is playing through Miki's route, but they wish for her to lean into wearing pullups and encourage her to use them more often without any ageplay elements. While another player playing through the same route, they might choose the same setup as the above, but they'd want to lean into ageplay for Miki. (Hopefully that's a bit more clearer. ^^ )
I personally interpreted the water/scat catagory as using diapers more often for both, I feel some may have been in the same boat as me for that rather than full on going without padding on.
I was a bit worried about that as well.. <.< I might toss out a voting poll that's more directly related to diaper use as a whole. Which would also include "scat (outside of diapers)" "scat (slight leakage with diapers)" and "pee (outside of diapers)" "pee (slight leakage with diapers)" along with some other more clear poll options focused around that. ^^

As for the questions in the post...
I always saw "ageplay" and "submission" as linked. Think of it like BDSM, but cuddly. Rather than whips and chains and bondage for establishing a *very* imbalanced power dynamic. Ageplay uses cuddly, if embarrassing, things to do the same.
A dom might pick what you wear, like a thicker diaper or a skirt that's not too long or shorts that don't totally hide the bulge. They may pick what you eat, make you use a bottle, take medicine to help you make a larger messy diaper, take a nap, have a bed time, etc... They treat you like a child, taking away your control over yourself. They feel powerful to do so, to be in charge. And you, feel like a kid as they make you submit to a diaper check in the mall or a change at the movie theater bathroom or a pacifier while in the passenger seat driving down the road.
You *have* to deal with being treated like a toddler, even though you are clearly not one. And they, get to get off on that power over you. Clothes, rules, props like pacifiers and bottles, all these "toddler" things to me are "ageplay" and make you feel "submissive" when "forced" on you by a dom that can maintain that "dynamic" where you feel like you've given up control to someone who likes to turn you into their pet/doll/big-baby.
I dislike "exhibitionism" with non-consenting "vanilla" people around. But *love* when the dom makes you play at the edge of "getting caught". Forcing you to use the diaper when out and about. Or checking you not really discreetly while in public. If the logic is, "Toddlers don't need to worry about who see's their diapers", then it's "age play". And if the dom pushes you to do it past your blush and whine and objections, then it's "subby". Then, for it to be short of "exhibitionism", all the dom has to do is ride the line of making you blush, but not going so far as to make it *actually obvious* to the general public.
I could go on all day with examples of how to be "treated like a toddler" by a "dom" to make you blush and make them feel "in control". But I don't wanna turn this into a ramble. >//////< But that's the idea in general, for me at least. "Ageplay" is being treated like a toddler. And if the dom pushes you a little farther than you are comfortable with, then it's "subby", and makes them feel "powerful" to play the game and take control away from you. Whether it's putting you down for bed at 9PM while they stay up, or making you eat fiber cause you haven't had a good messy diaper yet today, it's all "ageplay" and "submission".
I admit though, I may be in the minority here? I never "regress" to "little space". For me? The fun is having to use the pacifier and the diaper (toddler stuff, so "ageplay") but to do it with my adult mind. That's the game. That's what's fun. To know I am too old to be treated like this, and to be made to do it anyways.
Next, I second the idea that lots of characters are better off as either submissive or dominant. The player can get what they want by gravitating towards the one or the other out of options. Switches are fine. But... I find that I really *feel* it better when I can believe that my "dom" really gets off on taking control like that. And if they were a few different dialogue options away from wanting me to take control away from them? Then it feels less to me like they have that instinctual need to "put me in my place as the lesser". Ya know?
Lastly, I *personally* saw "watersports" and "scat" as happening *inside* diapers. >//////< I am a huge ABDL but poop and pee do nothing for me when not done in diapers. I don't *at all* need this game to cater to me directly. But just wanted to voice my support here as an individual for keeping that in diapers. I saw "scat" as like, not being shy to delve into the finer details of messy diapers. How it feels to walk around with a load in your pants. How it feels to have someone else wipe your messy rump. How you feel to know you smell bad as you wait to be changed while out on a date with your SO. Etc... Or maybe even not being afraid of art of a diaper that's open mid change. But nah, for me personally, I wouldn't *personally* benefit from poop and pee focused on as content that's outside of diapers and diaper usage.
I hope that this wasn't too much detail. And whatever you do, you've already made a cool game. So rock on! Thanks a ton. :) And I hope you keep going in the future, on this, and other projects. Few games in the ABDL space come even close to being this good. :)
Two quick clarifications.
Just cause, "Toddlers don't need to worry about who see's their diapers" doesn't mean that it's automatically "exhibitionism". Just that it's the "dom's" job to worry about that. The "dramatic tension" the "submission", comes from the difference between what the sub thinks is okay, and what the dom thinks is okay. The dom may for example pull back a waistband and peak inside while walking down the sidewalk. The sub, freaks out a little. People can see! After all... But the dom was watching, knew no one was looking too closely, and so took the calculated risk, knowing it'd all be over too fast for anyone to really notice or react. So the sub submits to the dom's much less conservative risk assessment. Even though both know that it'd be best not to make it too obvious.
Next, just cause an NPC may be submissive or dominant, doesn't mean that you cant still interact with them as either submissive or dominant yourself. Here is what I mean. I play as submissive, cause I am submissive. It feels wrong to me to be forced to role play as dominant. But, that doesn't mean I need to avoid submissive characters and their content. I'd just prefer to see dialogue options or alternate scenes where it was clear that we were two submissives talking. Even if that means that the content is truncated cause you go more into depth on the scene for dominant players. I'll feel like I get to role play if I get to stay "submissive", even when interacting with another submissive.

One to sort of gauge and get a better idea of what sort of focus with ageplay people like and overall have a better idea of things. ^^
