• A new stage swarming with otherworldly enemies: Another secret exit has been added to one of the levels and another secret level is hiding in the game for you to discover. This time, delve back into Level 5 “Big Discoveries” and search for a new exit door that wasn’t in previous builds of the game. If you can find all the secrets in that level already, you’ll have no problem finding the exit.
• Community Content GET: With the other milestone that we surpassed last month complete, the promised UFO and Glossy Lips enemies are now in the game. While they are featured in the new secret level for now, they may also spawn during the Core boss fight.
• The Glossy Lips: These freaky floating foes want to give you a good licking, so much that it will make you want to fuck yourself stupid. These big, shiny lips are fast and very powerful when they are able to slobber all over you, but can usually be taken out in a single hit, so as long as you are keeping an eye out for threats, they shouldn’t cause you too much trouble.
• The UFHypnO: These are a bit meatier than the Lips, and come equipped with a few of their own tricks. First, when you are in their attack range, they will spawn a fixed number of Glossy Lips to lick you up. After their distractions have been deployed, they will hypnotize you (like the Scientists) with their underside. Unlike the Scientists, you do have to be looking at them for it to take effect, like how the bimbo TVs work.
• Wall Shooter: Another dastardly trap has been added to the new level, the Wall Shooter! This object (invincible) will shoot a sticky glob of purple latex slime at you when triggered, or on a timer, that leave a splatter on the ground. Walking over it will slow you to a crawl and damage you over time. It’s capable of capturing you, so be weary of your health. Struggling while in a puddle of the sinister goop will damage you more frequently than normal, speeding up your encased demise!
• Power Boots Upgrade: With the Power Boots, the above sticky spots are nothing to worry about. Standing on them while powered up will keep your speed about the same as normal, and you won’t be at risk of capture or damage at the expense of faster durability drain.
• STEP IT UP: No more getting stuck on the god damn stairs! I’ve managed to adjust a few things with the step detection system to ensure that getting stuck on the stairs is a thing of the past. Additionally, there shouldn’t be any awkward jittering/shaking if you stop on the edge of something like a broken glass tube.
• STEP IT UP TIMES TWO: Enemies now have the power to climb steps like you! While I don’t see it being relevant in most levels, it is important to keep this in mind for the final section of the new level. I don’t expect any odd behavior, but there could be some strange pathing related edge cases.
• STEP IT UP TIMES THREE: It’s subtle, but you now make footstep sounds when you walk. Generic footsteps most of the time, but they change when walking over metal traps (gas vents, damage floors, latex screen tracks).
• Enemy pathing tweaks in “Just Breathe”: If you fall off the arena in the Secret Level “Just Breathe,” the enemies will no longer fly off after you and get stuck in a weird floating limbo.
• More environmental adjustments: Elevators now make noise when in motion, and the panels now go gray and start smoking when disabled as opposed to disappearing.
• ”?” Menu Adjustment: Now if you click the question make button on the main menu, there’s additional information to explain what the level complete bonuses mean.

You have access to a whole menu of various cheats to turn on and off at your leisure. These range from the standard stuff like infinite health/ammo, to things like faster struggling and early weapon unlocks. There are even some cheats to make the game harder, including making it harder to escape capture and easier to become captured. You can even customize the difficulty to your liking.

NEW! The Vampirism cheat has been added to the menu. This disables healing from everything except the bimbo booths, and instead has you heal when you damage enemies with your weapons. A fun new twist that can be combined with the other cheats.

• A Secret Stage is Waiting to Be Discovered: For those that saw the post last week, you have a good idea where to find a brand new level filled with plenty of fresh surprises. Trust me, it’ll be a gas! If you haven’t seen it and want to discover it yourself, one of the levels features a second exit that leads to the first hidden secret stage. Once you discover it, the level will be revealed in the level select.
• Community Content GET: That’s right, the idea that YOU all voted on is in the game! This means you get the Bimbo Healing Booth, a sexy new capture animation, and a mega hot CG associated with it.
• Bimbo Healing Booth: In this new level, and in future levels, you can come across strange booths that promise to give your health... and other parts of you... a nice boost. Step inside for some healing while the escape minigame plays. Just don’t be greedy!
• New Game Over CG: A new CG awaits to be discovered by succumbing to your better, brighter, more fun self. Not only will you feel great physically, but you’ll be vibin’ with the best of them. There was supposed to be something about a takeover of earth, but who cares about that?
• Gas Gunner: A new hunter variant is introduced in this secret level! They have a short range, flamethrower-like gas attack that will quickly cause your tits to balloon out like the gas from the vents or the fake Giga Spheres do.
• Combat Tweaks: Enemy behavior has been tweaked in some subtle ways. Different weapons may cause different enemies to attack faster, attack slower, or even stop their movement for a split second. You’ll likely notice the stopping power on the Assimilated Agents the most.
• Bullet Gun Tweaks (and Melee): Shooting with the Pistol and the Spin Gun is a little more generous with the hit detection and has been given some vertical range as well.
• Updated Pause Menu: The pause menu will now show how many kills/secrets/captures you currently have for the level. It displays the current difficulty level and what that entails too.
• Ignore Controller Setting: For those who have a controller plugged in or a special mouse that your computer thinks is a controller, there’s now and option for the game to listen for keyboard movement instead of joystick movement. If you can’t move when you start the game, go to the settings menu and enable this option.
• Escape Grace Period: With moving screens and other capture traps, some have expressed frustration with trying to time their escapes with the thing that’s trapping them. With this setting enabled, you will have a few seconds of immunity from most types of capture.
• Secret BS Visuals: While smashing your face against the wall to find secrets is a core part of the OG Doom experience, I wanted to give a little hint to those paying attention to their surroundings. Now all of the secret buttons have a subtle hint to mark where you should smash your face against and interact with.
• Environmental Sounds: Traps like the gas vents and the moving screens now play sounds when they’re active to give a bit more immersion. Buttons and moving platforms are included in this audio glowup.
• Various tweaks and adjustments: I’ve been working on a lot of small stuff so I probably missed a lot of bug fixes and other tweaks here because I am still trying to get this on Steam. Some other things to note is that the game is now capped at 60fps so people with better set-ups can enjoy it (I considered the risk of playing “jenga” with trying to move my capture code around, but I will have to be extremely careful with something like that). The game now pauses and unpauses when you plug/unplug a controller as well.

NEW! There’s now a custom difficulty setting in the CHEATS menu for you to adjust. For this initial version, it’s the same settings that get changed with the five default settings, but it’s open for you to mess around with. I’ve set the bounds pretty high for most of the settings, so messing with it too much might have unintended results. Some of these settings also stack with the other cheats themselves, so be sure to disable health/damage cheats when trying to fine-tune your gameplay.

• ANOTHER SECRET HAS BEEN REVEALED: Some secrets have been add or expanded upon throughout the game, and some are pretty hard to find! The first and second levels have an extra section with more enemies and challenges to overcome if you can find out where they are hidden. Be sure to check the sides of platforms you pass by for any tricky invisible switches.
• Proto-Hunter?: Rumor has it that there is a bigger Extraterrestrial Hunter with a better gun that shoots extra sticky latex blobs. Can you find it and shoot it in the dick a few times for the sake of humanity?
• Choose your Difficulty: Too easy? Too Hard? Head on over to the Settings menu and choose the difficulty that suits you best! There are FIVE options to choose from, so there will be something for everyone.
• CONTROLLER SUPPORT GET!: Controller support is now added to the game. If you are planning to use one, please use the “Display Controls” setting, which is on by default, if you have trouble figuring out what controls are what. Currently, the controller buttons are not re-bindable.
• UI Visual Overhaul: I’ve went and redid all of the UI elements and assets by hand! Now everything looks a bit cleaner and I find it personally a lot more satisfying compared to using the free resource pack that I used in previous versions.
• Upgraded Level Select: The level select screen has been overhauled to be a lot more professional looking compared to the previous versions.
• Capture Message Update: Now you’ll get a flavorful little message for every type of capture, not just the ones from the moving Latex Screens. The message will vary depending on the source that triggered the capture sequence.
• Enemy Pathing Tweaks: Made a slight adjustment on enemy pathfinding so they shouldn’t run off in a random direction sometimes like they would used to.
• Better Tooltips: You should more easily be able to read tooltips anything has by hovering over them.
• Save File Deletion Option: You can now go to the settings to delete your save file if you want to reset your progress and unlocks.
• Audio Mute Bugfix: Audio is now actually muted when the slider is at the lowest value, instead of it just being very, very quiet.
• The ABCDEFUCKING Keybind Bugfix: There were reports of keys being unbound when opening the game for the first or second time that was fixed by manually resetting the keybinds to the default state. While you were out spending time with family and having holiday sex parties, I was studying the documentation. After much painstaking effort, trials, tribulations, and three anime betrayals, the bug has been fixed.
• Credits and very basic Tutorial Screens: Click the new title menu buttons to see!
• Various tweaks and adjustments: There’s been a ton of work getting the game ready for a Steam release, so some other tweaks and adjustments were made in the meantime to accommodate that. (For the record, the Steam version is submitted for approval this week. Wish me luck!)

• BOSS LEVEL The Core: Step into the chamber of the Core and use everything you’ve learned to blow it to hell! This boss is no walk in the park, but if you’re observant and learn the patterns, you’ll be able to come up with a strategy to make it through no problem. Just be careful of the enemies spawning in and be sure to keep your ammo stocked. I heard that the AoE from the Jupiter Cannon is very effective.
• Bimbo Raygun: Once you’ve SMASHED the Core like you do the subscribe button, you will have a little secret extra for when you go back to replay levels. The “6” key is a very weak weapon that works like the Spin Gun, but if you finish off an enemy with it, they are transformed into jiggly alien bimbo babes. If you interact with them, they will give you some health for your trouble.
• Level Results and Unlocks: Is a sense of pride and accomplishment not enough for you? Well, it’s your lucky day. Doing well in each of the six levels will let you unlock bonuses that you can toggle on or off on an individual basis in the Level Select menu. Killing all the enemies will bump your max ammo up. Avoiding capture will give you a small bonus to your escape when you do get captured. Finding all the secrets (when implemented) will give a small bump to your melee weapon damage.
• A SECRET HAS BEEN REVEALED: Some of you might have noticed a secret wall to activate in Level 6. Well, now there’s a big dramatic pop-up for it and other secrets. I haven’t implemented all the secrets yet, so levels without will not unlock the melee weapon bonus, but I am going back to the older levels with plans to add some in.
• New Settings Meu: Be sure to check the tabs at the top of the menu, it’s hard to see right now! You now have more granular control over the game! A few small QoL options were added alongside a big new tab!
• REBINDABLE KEYS: Now you can set the keys to be whatever you are most comfortable with. I have a simple 2-button mouse, so fancier computer mice with their extra buttons might cause the display to look weird.
• Pretty Stars: There’s been some tweaks in older levels to show off the brand new Skyboxes! If you are lucky enough to spot a window, take some time to stare off into the vastness of the astral void.
• CGs are ALL HERE: All of the currently planned CGs are implemented! Once you’ve unlocked them, you can see them at the gallery anytime you wish!
• Power Boots added to some levels: Where relevant, the timed power-up, the Power Boots, have been added to several levels. These allow you to walk over damage floors without taking damage.
• Blood! Glass! Explosions!: New particle effects have been created for enemies, glass objects, and the Core itself. Now Extraterrestrials bleed when damaged, and attacking glass objects like tubes or bimbo TVs have a shatter effect for a bit more visual punch.
• Various tweaks and adjustments: Various other small changes that I could cram in before the holidays.

Subscriber Demo Coming August 1st!

I've been hard at work getting the first level for the DOOM-like kinky FPS, Corruption Crucible, up and running in Godot 4. Despite this being the first time working in the game engine, I am proud of how quickly the game is coming together.

This is a bit of awkward month for this schedule, since the 1st is a Friday and there are five Fridays in August instead of four, I've decided to release the demo for subscribers on August 1st instead of the expected July 25th.

This will give me some extra time to polish up the environment and tweak the code for things like the Alien Hunter pathfinding to be a little less "slippery." With the building blocks coming together, it will give me time for more flourish in the textures and sound effects as well as fix up anything I might have missed.
