Not just a hotfix (per usual me!), also got in some tech debt: improving some pacing in High School and populating skill check notifications there.

0.13 Content Poll Results

I've tallied the results from our 0.13 Content Poll:

1st: Post-Big Event Arcs w/ higher demands (310 weighted votes) -- already in the 0.13 Release!

2nd: Following up on the Intel from the Escorting arcs (227 weighted votes) -- already in the 0.13 Release!

3rd: Sexually Dominant Claire Arc (129 weighted votes) -- I'll be making sure this is included in 0.14

4th: Super Senior Prologue Arc (110 weighted votes) -- this will be included in 0.14 if I have bandwidth, or 0.15 otherwise.

5th: Following-up on the Intel from the Back Room (84 weighted votes)

Thank you all for participating in the poll, we always appreciate and respond to your feedback (hopefully that's clear!). We did have to remove around 30 or so votes due to cancellation of support, but that's such a small portion of the overall number. We're supremely thankful for those who stick with us.

We'll be posting a hotfix for 0.13 to repair some of the blocked arcs for the new content and some other bugs that joMOtta sent our way (thank you!)

Afterwards, I'll be posting a Content Poll for 0.14. This will be Honeypot focus and guide which new honeypot arcs we open up.

0.13 Release

You'll find this ''packed'' with content and improvements. Probably along the lines of the Big Event release!

We've also (finally) ensured that the Argentina Au Pair path doesn't suddenly end and dozens upon dozens other fixes thanks to your call outs.

0.13 Breakdown:

-Sidequest content: time with Euji, more dates with Blue!

-A massive, very important spy arc with those that uncovered some intel. There will be more paths here eventually, as well. (A big winner in the poll)

-11 new Bad Ends (with 2 variations possible to trigger as well)

-HomeBase improvements: 6 new random events + nearly 20 new events based on previous day content

-Improved gate triggers: inconsequential -> matter! too high -> reasonable!

-Additional (small) content for the Swiss Gap Year arc

-Over 15 updated HD art pieces - askew and pulled bras and panties for the doll

-More care and attention to sexuality -- this is a work-in-progress, but getting better!

-New soaked T-shirt for a bargirl path

-New outfit for a Prologue Job path

-Enhanced and retouched moments with 'bad dad'

-Improvements to the information in the Dossier

-New reports have been implemented for EROS, based on the events of the Big Event and other activities.

-New passage art including 2 sexual encounters: Angelo and fooling around with her first boyfriend!

What's to come in the future 0.14 release?

-More Act I content: investigation of more intel, closing more loops

-Act I Friends, Honeypot and other unlocked paths will be continued!

-Continued work to enhance bisexual and lesbian Claire playthroughs

-Additional hairstyles and highlights!!

-More disheveled versions of clothes -- pulled-down and pulled-aside underwear, for example!

0.13 Progress Report

We're right on track for a weekend release of 0.13.

It's going to be one of the larger content drops in the past couple dev cycles because over the past few days, I've:

-added a couple dates down the Blue path;

-added content for meeting up with Euji outside of the club;

-begun work on an extensive arc following intel picked up along a couple routes (one is from Escorting) -- thanks to leading votes in the poll!

-begun work on another Escort arc;

-fixed dozens of bugs and proofing errors, thanks joMOtta and RinaLivi!

That's in addition to a low of behind-the-scenes work ensuring triggers work, the dossier is complete and up-to-date, the HomeBase has more 'waking up' events, and I'm about to dig into improving the bisexual/lesbian lens of existing content.

Beyond all of the above, I also tried something out. In the past, I'd done my own manual analysis of gates, skills and traits and their gain in the Prologue. To double-check my work, I did an agentic analysis -- and after refining the prompt and clarifying the query, I got this:

"The overall system is well-built. The compound expressions with $jobValue, relationship scores, and multi-stat sums create gates that reward cumulative investment without hard-locking on any single axis. The if/elseif chains with flavor variants mean players rarely hit a wall — they just get different prose [...] If anything, the gating system errs on the side of being too permissive rather than too restrictive."

Made me smile.

The analysis helped me to identify a number of areas where the gates were trivial and needed changing (mostly checks to Confident, Risky, Stable -- typically higher values anyway); a couple places where the the gates were too high (University Greek!); and a very few that were actually functionally blocked. They've been right-sized and repaired!

Just a little insight to all the work we're putting into this release in hopes that you all enjoy it.
