0.19 Full Release!

0.19 is rather large and it's live as of right now for all Dossier+ supporters!

-Two honeypot continuations: Peaches and Datu -- and we're close to the end of the Datu arc! Both are big risk, potential reward.

-a new honeypot line: Gio -- just a simple guy who might have some unexpected access at the club.

-set-up for the end of Act I and Nate's arc -- 0.20 hopefully will shock you with how we close out the first Act.

-a couple cameos from familiar faces -- Claire's Dad and a certain someone from Bangkok.

-improvement and expansion of pregnancy in Act I and beyond -- there is now enough 'time' in Act I that pregnancy can become a real thing and need addressing.

-Claire's reputation in the Prologue should now be reflected -- you asked for it and I hope I did a good job at having the choices you make in the Prologue be reflected in the relationships along the way.

-new pigtail hairstyle!

-APK downloadable from the website!

Other things I hadn't mentioned in the Early Access post:

-Cyrus from the Big Event gets new content;

-NPC lines begin to find their way to resolution in Act I;

-Certain end-results of the Escorting line have repercussions and those are coming to a head;

-Opportunities to get closer to Angelo;

-A new Club Work Day, as always!

I told you it's a ton and...it's because I felt guilty. I'll be taking my first vacation since beginning this project so I'll be radio silent when it comes to posts. The rest of the team will still be working hard on improvements to the UX/UI, backend, website and making additional art assets.

I've done pre-work (some writing done before I leave, brainstorming and beat sheets for the rest) so that I can hammer through the 0.20 release when I get back.

It's time for the next release!

0.17 Public Release

The next public release is live!

This one has some marked changes from previous public releases (besides including all the improvements of content that is public):

All the club content has been added

Ability to skip or RPG start your character and head right to Act I

New cliffhanger to end on (or a maximum number of days)

With this public release, that means we're on the precipice of dropping 0.19 for our Vet supporters in Early Access in just a couple days.

0.16 Pubic Release!

For previous supporters and people still checking out the game, we're releasing the public version of 0.16!

Improvements over 0.15:

Dozens -- probably hundreds -- of bugfixes. Also, If Claire left someone at home, they reach out in an attempt to connect; Full audio overhaul -- new cues across the Prologue and Act I for deeper immersion; Massive copyedit pass through the Prologue -- tightening, cleaning, and now through most of High School!

and for the doll: New short hair options for Claire -- long hair options to come in 0.17.

Another big change from the last public version: there are now three potential arcs in High School and all three jobs available in Act I. More ways to see how options matter, more content to check out.

0.17 Full Release!

First off: welcome and thank you to all our supporters, new, returned and long-time. It's been great to see the swell of support for this release. It means you think we're doing a good job with Blue Swallow.

0.17 is now available through the website to all Dossier+ supporters. Want a copy on your hard drive instead? You can go there and download the APK and ZIP versions for offline play.

What've we been up to in the past five days since early release?

*Zach, Fict, and JoMOtta have been working hard to ensure the website is stable, fully accessible and bug-free -- we appreciate your bug callouts and patience, Zach just pushed some more fixes.

JoMOtta has begun sketching out an idea that he had pitched to me at the end of last cycle: why isn't there any possibility during the Prologue for Claire to become a stripper and get some pole-dancing skills? It was a good point. So there will be a couple of entry points he's building out to coincide with **0.18*. This will be somewhat styled like the modeling super-arc to pre-College and/or an extracurricular in College.

I've been reworking the RPG-start to be what I had originally envisioned: a quick way to head right to Act I with the version of Claire you imagine. A few screens choosing archetypes and into a skill/trait buy-up and sell-down screen before finalizing and jumping into the main story. It's going to need some vetting from my team, but will drop with **0.18*, fingers crossed.

Starting today, I'll begin on the content for 0.18. Some things that I've planned: - A potential appearance of good ol' dad. - Another new Honeypot arc. - An extension of an existing Honeypot arc. - Reappearance of Sallah, if you know, you know. - And, of course, another day of work at the Club where some choices will come to roost. - I'm also pretty close to putting in the first few tie-offs and tie-ins to Act II.

Not exhaustive, but the headlines.

On another note, towards the end of 0.17, I realized that I'd exhausted the Honeypot voting and mostly exhausted requests that you've had for content and other improvements to the game, so I'm calling on you all to drop into these comments or the Discord (#game-suggestions) and let me know what you'd like to see in a poll for future additions, either in 0.18, 0.19 and beyond.
