So the 'which do you prefer' poll was interesting. It nearly came out even, with Merry-Go-Pound 'winning' in the end. It was my most popular poll yet. Both ideas will be attempted, and most likely come to some kind of release since neither seem to complex, but since Merry-Go-Pound won the poll I'll start it first; and yeah, that'll be the project name. In fact, it might end up with two different animations in time, since I have this Batgirl version stuck in my head but it'd only work well with some voice lines, so I'd need to sort that. I have a few ideas that are stuck in limbo because of voice lines. A very specific Incredibles comes to mind, but I won't AI them, but I can't afford them either, so limbo for now.

    Awhile back Marie Rose took the place of Gwen Tennyson as the de facto Holiday animation character. She wasn't in anything for Halloween this year. I rectified that by making a looped animation with her, bringing this year's Halloween release total to 3 projects. Actual release number is now 1 video, 2 loops (same animation, different sounds), 8 pics (4 with and 4 without watermarks). Sadako from The Ring (the video) was the only original project, but messing around with a new model I ended up with some pics, and then like I said about Marie's new loop. So surely there's something for everyone.

    And yes, they are all free releases. Like always, Holiday projects are free, even the alt versions. Makes the end of the year's run a big ass freebie.

    That can be taken either way, but yeah, rendered and compiled; ready to go on Halloween which falls on a Saturday. Handy. "Quality Assurance" (my friend who gets to view everything) tells me the visual quality is, for some reason, a little less than some others. No idea why, since it's the exact same settings in SFM and Vegas as everything else since who knows how long now. It's not No Cure bad though; it's still fine. Just. Less? I dunno. You all can see it then and judge. Maybe it was the lighting.

    So many ideas floating around. So many new ones pop in or get tossed at me. It can be a bit much, really. Been harder to focus for awhile now. I think maybe it's a lack of theme direction, and by that I mean since I don't have a constant kind of theme/genre maybe I bounce around trying to find it or something. Things just don't seem to click and go like before, which sucks, so sorry if I seem a bit scattered still. Right now I have probably a dozen, at least, ideas going; none of which grab me like things did before. I was actually working on a new idea last night when I got some things suggested to me that I immediately changed to. Not hard to derail me, that's for sure, but the new ideas are more engaging. I really like the weekly Discord Streams. They keep me focused on something. Shame Discord is shit and I'm trying to find an alternative.

    So, Halloween is now coming up, so Halloween 2026 is about to start rendering; Sadako (The Ring) for those who might not know who this year's features. I do have a few still images to release near Halloween as well; just some mess around stuff. With Halloween 2026 being rendered soon, keep in mind the Weekly will pretty much be "is still rendering!" for the most part.

    I have a lot of models. Too many, maybe. Some favorites, some hated, some that have never seen the light of day, let alone been used for anything. So many I often don't even know who I have. So on that note....

    I'm thinking of just spawning in literally every character model I have (that would be of use, not the generic background whatevers) and listing who they are to keep in some kind of massive list. Might be useful not only for my own references, but say, I wanna do a Harley Quinn thing. I could toss all the different Harley pics up and be able to quickly decide which of the 9 or so I have to use. Classic will always be the best!

    Could also be useful for polls.

    Yeah, omg, spawned in T-pose! (Or A-pose sometimes) These are for reference, not the jerky jerky. That comes later. So yeah, I'll probably expand upon that. Would even help me clean up the files.

    So, the poll results on the latest upped graphic settings are finished and it looks like I'll be saving the superous colossalistic massively big render settings just for the really good shit, cause yeah, that took way to long to render Black Cat Cafe. What projects fall under that category? Ones I think deserve that kind of extra bump and have the time to render for it.

    So I spent this week recouping from the "Render Blues" and sorting out things. Tossed several saves that were never going to go anywhere or never started to begin with. (I had several named saves that had nothing more than the girl to be used standing in the spawn pose. That's it.) Renamed a lot of saves for better organization. Stuff like that.

    Came across a Touhou Project practice animation that's nice. I like it a lot. They animate really well and I've wanted to use them again, so I'm going to continue on with it and make it a full thing. (Full as in a release, not necessarily a 10+ minute animation.) Same two girls as a previous one, who's names are uh....Yamashiro Takane and Kawashiro Nitori. I've no idea which is which; I know nothing about that game. Henceforth to be referred to by hair color. Or eye color since I just noticed it's the same as the hair.

    Anyways.

    In other news, Halloween 2026 might not get the second song added to it. It's a full length animation as is. Discord stream reactions would suggest it's a really good animation. It'll depend on how things progress from now til time to get rendering.

    Sancus 3 is already on pause. It started out so shitty I lost all drive to go go with it. I've been sorting a different introduction to the OC Zjai, since I really wanted her out and about sooner.

    Lastly, Christmas 2026 is moving a long nicely. Marie Rose is having fun. I think. Probably not.

    Susie was born on Halloween and has a thing for cemeteries. I've never seen the show, just came across her model years ago and thought she was interesting. Like most smaller holidays, this is a short animation. I thought it was a fun one though, with her expressions changing as it goes along.

    Whoa, hold on, halt, stop. Creepy Susie is aged up, calm down. No worse than using Gwen Tennyson, after all, except I've seen a lot of "OMG" over her for some reason, so thought I'd poke that topic right quick.
    I've never seen the show, had no idea who she even was; like a lot of characters honestly. Came across her on SFMLab many moons ago, thought she was interesting, sorted the rest.
    Anyways. Animation is finished already and waiting for October 31st. Why so early? I had an idea, started it, finished it, voila. It's short and more fun/funny then anything really, kinda like the Stitch/Nani dance thing, but longer in length; 1:50. Also, Susie's birthday is Halloween, so it's like a joint holiday or something. Will be a free release when the time comes.

    Christmas 2025 is coming along, though a bit slower than when I started it. Had some issue sorting how to hold certain body parts logically, as I am want to do rather than just 'whatever'. Trying to make a rig setup for logical holding caused bars and stuff to get in the way of views, so that caused some annoyance. What I have now kinda works, so. Maybe I should make a manual, haha.

    In other news, I've snagged some new prop models. Been testing them out some. Have too many new ideas, like usual. Both my commissioned and would-be commissioned characters have either stalled something horrid (maker has just AWOLed) or never started at all (over a year of nothing til a 'my bad' kind of conversation). So, I've no idea. Might just give up, after I get a refund for the first one.
