About the next 3 months
Hey everyone,
after taking your feedback, the past couple of months, but also how I currently feel into account, I've come to the conclusion that working on 2 projects in parallel isn't really working out for me.
Having to do constant mental context-switching between 2 completely different projects is harder than I thought, especially getting my brain back from "GoV mode" into "HHR mode", but also vice versa is challenging every time, and having to manage two sometimes conflicting release schedules doesn't help, either.
That said, GoV is getting relatively close to the content targets I had set for myself anyway, if it didn't become some massive hit (which it didn't).
Because of this,

I'll double down on GoV for the next 2-3 months, add everything I still absolutely wanted to add (which is still a lot, btw), then call the result version 1.0, and any further updates afterwards will mostly depend on my co-dev xtone (who'll be busy for a while due to IRL work though, so no guarantees when or even if more updates will happen).

GoV 0.8 is now planned for later this month, GoV 0.9 for August, 1.0 for September.

I'll put HHR largely on hold during this time.
If you're a subscriber and ONLY here for early access to HHR updates, I honestly recommend dropping a tier or taking a break for now.
There are some other smaller issues and challenges with HHR I need to work out too, I'll announce ahead of time when HHR updates resume.
But if you're also or only here for GoV, you can safely stay subscribed for the next 3 months, you'll actually get more bang for buck than before.
I know a lot of you would probably prefer that I managed to keep the status quo and just somehow increased development speed, or made GoV our main project for good, which I can completely understand.
But some of you were right, the current approach just feels like a guaranteed path to burn-out for me, and I think everyone would agree that would be the bigger evil.
And the issue with making GoV our permanent main project would be that it's honestly a bit unfulfilling to work on, for what little money it makes.

Upcoming release dates and tier upgrades
Hey everyone,
first, there's going to be some tier benefit upgrades, effective now:
- $1.50 tier will now give delayed early access 1 week after Level 3 for HHR, too
- $3.50 tier will now give the same delayed early access to HHR updates as the Lv1 tier, in addition to the full GoV early access
So this post is now accessible for Lv1/2 subscribers as well.
We have more tier value improvements planned for a bit later this year, they'll be announced in advance.

Next, the standard HHR release day will move from Monday to Wednesday, and usually in the evening of CEST timezone. This change is related to my IRL part-time day job arrangements, as Monday and Tuesday are now days I can fully use for game development, so it'd feel a bit like a waste to release on Monday when I could've spent 2 more days cramming more content into an update.
This also means HHR 0.3 will be released on July 2nd, evening CEST for Lv3 subscribers.
HHR 0.2 will also become public on itch .io around that time, although it'll possibly take some hours to get all uploads and posts ready, so don't expect everything to go online within minutes of each other.

On July 6th, Lv2+ subscribers will also get a new GoV update, 0.7.5. Not as much new content in this one (some Grace and Mia sandbox updates), but a bunch of QoL improvements before 0.8 will bring more new content again.

Quick news and GoV future content poll
Hey fellas,

Anyway, Garden of Venus update 0.7 will launch for Level 2 patrons and above on Sunday and bring the second half - or rather the remaining 60% - of events, after 0.6.5 already brought 2 out of 5 of 0.7's events a bit earlier.
The new events will be the first solo event for Aurélie, the 4th event for Grace, a new sidegirl event (purple-haired gym girl) and some associated sandbox options.
Additionally, GoV 0.6.5 will become public on itch on Sunday as well.
