Part 3: Animated Captions (Google Drive link since it's way too big to upload directly.)

The third entry in the LMC! caption-making video series, this video looks exclusively at making animated (webm) captions in PowerPoint, and using FFmpeg to make that happen.  The post includes the final product as an example, a couple of text files with the macros and the ffmpeg commands.

If you want to make captions the way Doggo and I do, this is the guide for you.  You'll need PowerPoint, though, so yo-ho-yo-ho...

Here are some short webm captions, two are bleached with no source, the third is an anthro futasub cap with art by dash ravo.

Edit: Added better-typeset still versions of the captions, though the image quality isn't the best cause the video quality wasn't the best.  Sorry in advance.

While the Webm is still its original size, the still version's going to be easier to read.  There's no audio, so don't worry about that.

A smaller version that should hopefully be legible on a 1920x1080 screen and the original much larger version too.

A webm caption that I revised a couple times to try and get the text to fit (that much text doesn't play nice with being beside a webm) and that I eventually turned into a simple click-through caption using Ren'Py.
I can't upload the .apks to SubscribeStar because it doesn't like that filetype, so if you're on mobile, you'll need to go check out my mega archive and grab it from there.  Otherwise, desktop users, grab either the PC or Mac version depending on your system and give it a look if you're interested!
The two are basically identical in terms of the "story" they contain, it's just a format change that's a slower/more spoon-fed kind of burn.
