Defending Lydia Collier Development Log
Hello everybody!
I hope you enjoyed the Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16 update and all the new content added Sunday evening.
Next up with be Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 which will be released at some point in May, an exact date will be set once this is in Alpha testing as it will require some more intensive testing than usual updates.
Just to briefly cover version numbers, from now on the major number will only change when an entire day's new content is complete. "v.0.16.x" updates will be adding in a significant amount of new content or features, "v.0.16.x.X" updates will be bug fixes with no new content.
When the entirety of Monday is released, the version will flip to "v.0.17".
In the Defending Lydia v.0.16.1 update, there will be two new things added:
Firstly it will contain a small update featuring Vanessa, Tiffany and co which will see them return from the Island to the UK.
With Monday advancing the game's story, it is important to get all the routes coming back together so this is the first thing that needs to happen.
Secondly, it will contain achievements and an unlockable gallery.
I've been working on this for a while, and there will be an initial 50 different achievements for you to unlock, and each one will reward you with an unlockable image in the new secret gallery that will also be coming with it.
These images aren't "canon" to the story, they're just a fun way of putting the various characters in different situations and scenes in one off renders.
Achievements will mirror both in game and on Steam, so if you have Steam you'll get Steam achievements there too, and if you don't, you'll have in-game achievements and unlockables.

Defending Lydia Collier v.0.15.9 Release Date and Roadmap!
Defending Lydia Collier v.0.15.9 will be released on Saturday 23rd of March!
The v.0.15.9 update will include:
Many bug fixes, including all missing scenes and errors within the gallery being resolved.
An entirely new day focused on Jenna, with a branching evening either alone with the MC or involving Lydia.
Multiple new scenes advancing the story throughout Sunday, what are TITAN looking for and who wants to help you?
Several new animations featuring Jenna.
New audio files, specifically some custom made audio for the London Underground which will now feature in the game with the newly renovated Thamesview Station reopening by the Player's home.
This will be followed by Defending Lydia Collier v.0.15.10, which will release on Saturday April the 6th.
Defending Lydia Collier v.0.15.10 will add in the final scenes with Ellie's evening with Lydia in the dungeon, and will conclude Sunday's content in terms of renders.
After this I'll be continuing to work on "v.0.16" which will be the coding and social media stuff, this is taking a lot longer than I'd like and whilst I'd like to say this will also be out in April, it needs significant testing before I can set any definitive date.
What's going to happen on Monday in the upcoming updates over the summer, here's some things that will be coming up in the future on Monday within Defending Lydia Collier, potentially some spoilers below!
A particularly sunny September day will see Lydia attempting to host a pool party at her new home, with you, Fleur and Connie the only confirmed guests so far, your choices so far will allow a variety of other girls to be invited, who wouldn't you mind exploring the dungeon or the massage room with?
Following the new events on Sunday, you'll be meeting a group of people looking to help you out in not just exposing the truth behind the disappearance of Charles Collier, but in resolving it too. Who will you be bringing to back you up?
Lydia's posted some very lucrative roles online to help her run her new home, but she's never conducted an interview before. Can you help her out in finding the best candidate for the first role, her new chef?
Plus much, much more!

Defending Lydia Collier Development Log
Hello everybody!
Here are some more previews for the next update of Defending Lydia Collier, which will be Jenna's update.
So far for Jenna's update I've created an entire day out in London with her on the Sunday, and an adult scene with two 400+ frame animations, and I'm now finishing off the evening when she will either meet Lydia if you choose to introduce them, or stay with her at the character's house overnight if you do not.
I've also created some custom audio for the tube station with platform announcements and sound effects to improve immersion as well for Jenna's day as Ellie's tube journey felt a bit lifeless (and I'll be going back and creating sounds for that in the future too).
A lot of people have asked for animations, so I'm trying really hard to make these but it takes a long time as I'm not very good at them at all and am having to learn at the same time. I still haven't been able to find anybody to commission to do them, basically every single NSFW Animator I've found just completely ignores my DMs, the majority, or the ones that do reply only wants to work with their own characters or ones ripped from mainstream games. However the two I've made so far myself are both rendered in 4k so they look better, in my opinion, than the earlier ones and I'm getting better and faster with these with each one I make.
I'm going to put everything I've made so far into an Alpha release for testing next week to get some more feedback there and then I'll set an update for the full update depending on what they say.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas have a joyful rest of the holiday season and a happy new year!

As some of you may know from Twitter/Discord I'm still without proper internet at the moment and have only just got 4g back on some networks so sorry for being quiet!
The phone networks in my area decided to switch 3g off at the beginning of December, messed it up, took down 2g/4g/5g as well and still haven't fixed it. Two networks, O2 and Vodafone, neither of which are my usual providers (Three and EE were my main and my backup) have fixed their masts so I'm using PAYG Dongles with them atm to get back online but the speed and signal really isn't good with those two, which is causing a huge pain trying to download/upload and do a lot of the things I traditionally do and need the internet for, things you don't even think of like lightroom presets, downloading asset updates etc.
So because of this I've just been rendering this month as that's all I can really do at the moment. I'm going to be releasing v.0.16 in January which will have all the remaining content for Sunday for both Jenna and Ellie.

Unfortunately I can't even put an eta on the coding changes because I need to get them uploaded/thoroughly bug tested and still need to access a lot of my online references/guides to finish things off, but I struggle to even buffer a video at the moment, so this is just postponed at the moment until they fix the internet in my area. If any of you are a really high level guy at Three Mobile or EE, please fix the 5g!
Going into 2024 should see the completion of DLC, but I'm going to be making some changes to tiers as some of the current rewards I'm not doing and to make them a bit more worthwhile, there are no changes to access to updates, just the additional rewards.
There will still be occasional polls and other things I'll do, this is just what will be guaranteed each and every month for each tier in addition to your current update early access.
Changes to $5 and below:

Changes to $10 (including Solicitor & Trainee Solicitor):
Monthly renders and votes aren't being done so this will be removed as a reward.

Customs are going to be removed, simply put they take up a monstrous amount of my time and I want to focus this on development instead.
If you already signed up as $25 before now and haven't claimed your custom but you want it, don't worry, I will still absolutely 100% honour your custom and make it (custom queue has now been cleared so new ones will be made after v.0.16's release) when you request it, this is just for new sign ups going forward in the new year.

Alpha Testing access for v.0.17 onwards provided you have been signed up for more than 3 consecutive months at this tier and request it.
Reason for the time factor here is that I don't want somebody signing up at this tier, getting alpha access and then sharing a bugged build before I can fix it, you also don't have to do this, just if you want to. Current people will continue to do this as well, this is additional people if they want, not replacements for you guys.
Monthly vote for a group custom render (that will also serve as an in-game collectible image) and a suggestion room in Discord where you can put your ideas and I'll add suitable ones to the next month's poll.
These changes will go live tomorrow or the day either so you can edit pledges/cancel/downgrade/upgrade as you wish prior to January's billing cycle.

Defending Lydia Collier Development Log
Hello everybody!
Sorry for not posting in a little while, there's been a lot I've been doing for the game this month that I can't really show you as it's not creating new content exactly.
So what have I been up to?
Firstly, I've been clearing the custom backlog, these will be out shortly over the weekend and any not requested by now will be created after v.0.16 (you can still tell me what you want if you've subbed at that tier, just it won't be worked on until then).
Secondly, I've done all the Accounting and Taxes for White Phantom Games for 2022/23. Incredibly boring and not exciting at all but it is something that I'm legally required to do now once a year as thanks to everybody's support this is now my full time job.
Thirdly, I've been working on loads of coding and changes for v.0.16, and this is getting near completion. I'm going to try and get the full v.0.16 update out in December, and this will add Ellie, Jenna and Lydia's final content plus all the coding changes for the social media and achievements. I've now got all the images and coding for achievements basically done, just will need testing at some point in December.
Fourthly, I've created a new unique hub location for the game that will be used quite extensively in the final two days. The Tube is quite a staple of London, and the reason why it hasn't really featured is simply I didn't have a good asset for it. Early this year I got one, and you may have seen it in quite a bland form with Ellie's evening. Now I've remade a lot of it and the MC will start using it near his house, I've changed a lot of things to make them fit in with DLC's universe, and also getting some audio for it, and now I'm done with this area. There's some images included, and you'll see quite a lot of it on Jenna's path, and having this premade, pre-lit and ready to go will speed things up a lot in future days.
Additionally a lot of people have spoken about the animations, or lack of, in the game. I tried reaching out to some very good NSFW animators I managed to find and whilst they had reasonable commission prices, none really wanted to work with the software I use, or use my character models. So I have been looking into this if this is your gripe with the game and will continue to do so, but I haven't found one person interested yet.
Finally, I've been continuing to make Jenna's content and a couple of previews from her day so far are attached.
Last year I did the Advent Calendar for Christmas which I think I'll do again this year, so keep an eye out for that on Twitter (@WhitePhantom18) or Discord (https://discord.gg/gRv4BFq6WY)!
It will just be one image per day this year as I've got an update to focus on and finish, and I'll post the images in 4k for everybody at the Supporter Tier and above to keep on the 25th when it is all done.

Hello everybody!

What's Next?
v.0.16 is now very nearly all complete and released. Vanessa, Stephanie, Emma, Helena, Tiffany, Sophie, Ellie and Lydia have now all had all of their individual scenes released, and all that is left are the technical changes, Jenna's content and the ending of the combined Ellie/Lydia route.
I'll stop using "v.0.15" and switch to "v.0.16" at the release of the technical changes, this just makes it way easier for troubleshooting as if a bug is reported with a "v.0.15.x" then I know it is pre-code changes, if it is "v.0.16.x" it is after.
Right now I'm focusing on two things next, one is Jenna's content, and the other is getting the technical stuff completed and released and that will take up most of this month's development time.
With the technical update it will mean the Social Media revamp is finally added and all of those new images, along with the removal of the old cumbersome PC (and all the bug and issues related with it), the new fixed gallery, several new newspaper stories and background information, and finally Achievements!
With Jenna's update it will add content for her on Sunday where it is currently lacking, and also have the ability to introduce her to Lydia as well for double the redhead trouble.
One or both of these will be released in November, but I'll post more about that nearer the time in the next week or two.
