Hey guys!
Hope you all enjoyed v.0.16.2 and have been having fun collecting the achievements!
I'm currently doing two things at the moment:
Firstly is redoing the walkthrough.
This is taking me a while but I'm getting there.
I've changed a lot of the code since I originally did it so I'm having to go through the whole lot of code line by line to check everything is correct and up to date, add in the earlier achievements etc.
I hate making walkthroughs but it is heavily requested so I will do it, and if you're going to do something, then do it well, no point making it half-arsed.
This time I'm going to have it backed up a million different ways so I'll never have to do this again.
So this will soon be finished and I'll update the in-game file with the new one so you can get it directly from the button in-game, I'm finishing this in bits whilst doing the second thing.
Secondly is I am moving into a permanent new office.
As those of you who have followed for a while will know, I've been plagued by issues with the internet here at the office I rented and moved into last year.
I was misled about this office having fibre broadband, so since near the end of last year I've been using mobile broadband, which is poor in this area, was down for nearly an entire month over Christmas, and is why I've had a lot of trouble doing big uploads and downloading things.
I have been speaking with a relative who owns a big, partially disused property, and they are happy for me to turn one of the larger rooms there into an office. Provided I take care of any work that needs doing, they'll give me a forever lease to use it as an office. So finally now I'll be able to stop constantly moving about and have a permanent, professional office with fibre broadband.
There is a fair bit of work to do, I'm having to get it rewired, then I'm painting it, putting down new flooring, replacing locks, fitting fire doors and alarms etc, so currently for this week and next I am mainly doing this and then I will be moving there at the latest by the end of the month.
That's what I'm up to and doing at the moment, just to keep you all in the loop, and then I'll be getting on with finishing Monday up in the game and finishing DLC!

Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.2 will be out Friday!

Hello everybody!
Will be a small update out this Friday, Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.2.
This is virtually all done so will definitely be out then, this is primarily a bug fix update, however there is a small amount of new content coming with it.
Coming with this update: 
Steph's Hard Drive will now be accessible prior to its destruction.
New Ellie nudes for Sunday.
Updated Walkthrough to v.0.16.2.
Entire gallery recoded. (Should restore lost Galleries.)
Lots and lots of bug fixes.
Some notes on v.0.16.2:
It's getting a new version number because there's a load of coding changes, however just to repeat this is primarily a bug fix update, not a content update.
Full builds will come with v.0.16.2 shortly after, I missed these for v.0.16.1 because I'm still on capped mobile data and knew v.0.16.2 would be along very shortly.
In September my contract for this building expires so I will move and have a different office and finally have fibre again and not have to worry about uploading!
Regarding Steph's Hard Drive, the content will not be for everyone, and many will dislike some, if not all, of the content inside of it.
I'm adding it because many people asked for it and I promised them I'd eventually add it a year or so ago. If that turns out to be a good or bad idea we'll see, but at the time virtually nobody said "don't", and a lot of people asked for it, and it's a bit late after promising now to not do it.
Marissa is an extremely evil character, and this is her collection to keep hurting Steph even once she's physically out of her reach, so keep that in mind if you decide to get the hard drive from her and then peer into the abyss.

I've intentionally made it so there are absolutely no flags, branches, achievements or gameplay changes linked to looking at the hard drive, so you won't miss out on anything by just destroying it without looking if it isn't your thing.
Going forwards!
Next will be v.0.17, or Monday in the game, and all paths will rejoin and progress as they did before the weekend! No more individual character updates!
I'm always open to fan feedback and ideas for what you want to see added. Steph's hard drive wasn't planned and is being added due to fan requests, and Ellie's solo hotel route wasn't planned and was added due to them too.
Monday is the last big update focusing on the story and the girls, with Tuesday being the story finale and the epilogues, and I haven't decided yet on all the final non-story scenes for all the girls. So if you have an idea, now is the time to voice it!
Just for your information, some things I will not ever add to DLC, so just don't even ask:
Male/Male.
Cuckolding (the Player).*
Stuff that breaks Patreon's ToS.
Pegging (the Player). 
Serious FemDom (of the Player).
*No sitting in a hotel room watching another dude bang your girlfriend whilst you hold your dick Sneako style, not my thing. I don't mind girls ending up with other characters for bad endings where the Player is dead/arrested, don't die or get arrested... SoM had a multi-guy and girl foursome, I am not and never have been a strict "NO OTHER PEOPLE" Dev. However, there will be no path where you just sit back and watch other guys bang your girlfriend because you like it, so no actual cuck requests. There will also be no other "pre-the Player" content like Steph's HDD added now either, I can't see anywhere else that it would make sense to add flashbacks etc.
Positive requests for content resonate significantly more than negative requests saying you don't like something. So if you've got something you'd also like to see, suggest it on Discord, see what others think, and it might just get added in some way or another!

Week delay to Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 to add some more content.


Hello everybody,
I'm really sorry but I'm going to delay Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 until next week, Friday the 14th.
I've just played through what I've added for Vanessa, Tiffany and Sophie and whilst I think the individual scenes are quite good, when I test-play through the whole thing together it just feels a bit short and a bit rushed. Whilst I always planned for it to be a small update for them as they'll be getting more scenes with the main Monday update, I think an extra 100 or so renders across a couple of scenes will help build the Vanessa/Player/Tiffany relationship a lot and also make the update feel more worthwhile.
So I want to spend this weekend adding in an extra couple of scenes with Vanessa and Tiffany and expanding on the player's new role within the household, and adding in some more choices to be able to define that relationship your own way.
Whilst I'm doing this I've also been reminded of a couple of outstanding things I also need to add with Stephanie, which will take me another couple of days to do, so I think it makes sense to delay the update by a week, add in the new Vanessa/Tiffany scenes, finish all the outstanding Steph work, and then with everything outstanding completed, I can focus completely on going forward with the story on Monday for v.0.16.2.
New additions to v.0.16.1 will be:
Extending the Island ending from the current 330 renders to roughly 500 renders and adding in two new scenes with Vanessa and Tiffany.
Stephanie's Hard Drive will now be accessible with v.0.16.1, if you choose to view it, adding in a new gallery and about 50 images.
Regular Stephanie's story scenes on Sunday - 20ish renders bringing Regular Steph in line with all the other routes ready for thew game to continue with v.0.16.2.
Extended motorway scene if you had dated Stephanie before the traffic stop, but didn't break her heart - <10 renders, fixes continuity error of Steph forgetting who you are.
Non-toy path for Saturday night with Bimbo Stephanie - no new renders, splicing of scenes, purpose is to allow people not into the toys to skip it as promised, that's all.
Apologies about this, I appreciate its annoying to delay it the day before but as many of you know I usually drop updates literally an hour or two after I'm done rendering them and it's only today I've finished all of the renders for what I originally had planned and put everything together, and it just doesn't feel quite right.

Hello everybody!

I'm very happy to announce that Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 will be released on Friday the 7th of June!

Defending Lydia Collier's v.0.16.1 update will feature:

The return of Vanessa, Tiffany and co to the UK, featuring a new scene with Tiffany, Vanessa and Sophie, rejoining all of the branches back together for the next major big day in the story.

Tiffany's phone being added, with a collection of photos of her and her friends for you to browse through and the start of a path to unlock some of Tiffany's most secret images that'll conclude later on Monday.

54 new achievements, each with 54 unlockable images as rewards for unlocking them, and a new gallery to keep them all.

New quality of life changes to the earlier days including;

In-game warnings when a choice will end a path.

An end to the mandatory computer scouring on repeat playthroughs, persistent flags will let you skip through without betting, finding Eve, or finding Yennifer if you've already done it before.

New opportunities to work on the Helton or Divine Health projects on some of the less interesting early evenings.

Couple of new side images to replace some of the worst old ones.

Audio to Ellie's night out in London that was missing.

Re-encoding some of the overly sized early videos to slightly reduce game size.

I released a small part of the update with all of the achievements to Alpha testers at the beginning of the weekend and am now just awaiting any feedback or problems from them, although I've played through several times myself and unlocked them all, and finishing off a few more renders for the Vanessa content, so it will be a smooth launch on the 7th.

With everything achievement wise being brand new code, you will need to replay the game to unlock them. If you're not fussed, this won't break saves and you don't need to do anything.

Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 Development Log


Hello everybody!
Just an update on how the next update is coming along, and the last couple of weeks I've been focusing on adding in achievements to the game.
I've got all the technical parts of it working now, and I'm getting close to finishing off all the reward images and sending it out for testing.
With Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 there will now be an achievements tab where you can view all the achievements, get a brief guide on how to unlock the ones that aren't secret, and as you complete them it will give you an unlockable gallery with each achievement granting you a new image. You can also press the portrait to turn it into a gallery of all the images.

You'll also get an in-game notification letting you know the achievement has been unlocked, and all of these achievements if you've got the game on Steam will mirror with Steam achievements.

As an example I've shown the easiest achievement, completing the first day, and the reward picture you get for it.

There will be 54 Achievements and reward images coming with v.0.16.1.

So far I have completed:

Made all coding for achievements, the gallery, the notifications etc and tested it myself, and made most of the images.

I've edited the early code when the paths branch, so you'll now get some dialogue and warning when an option will exit your current path. No more accidently abandoning Steph by taking Ellie on a date, you'll now be warned!

I've moved the early computer flags into persistent data for ease of replayability. For example, once you've found out where Eve is on one playthrough, you won't have to do it again on future playthroughs.

You no longer need to place a bet on Day 1, again making replayability smoother.

I've added in some options to work in the evenings if you're doing nothing else, making it possible to complete both the projects without cheating.

Small update with Vanessa and Tiffany moving them back to the UK. This features new adult scenes with Tiffany and Sophie. Vanessa and Tiffany will ALSO have content in v.0.17, this is just to re-unite all the branches together and this isn't their major Monday content.


I still need to complete:

19 remaining achievements and their images.

Tiffany's phone from the Wedding Night, as many people will be replaying for achievements I want to have this working in this update but its going to need have some coding work done and some more custom images and nudes for Tiffany on there.

Custom audio for Ellie's hotel night which is currently soundless.

Some different nude images for the most recent night with Helena, Emma and Ellie as the current ones move some of the girls to the wrong location.

Updating the walkthrough to v.0.16.

I should have all the achievements done hopefully by the weekend if not early next week, and then I'll send these out for testing to Alpha testers to make sure they're all working when v.0.16.1 comes around.

Defending Lydia Collier Development Log


Hello everybody!
I hope you enjoyed the Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16 update and all the new content added Sunday evening.
Next up with be Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 which will be released at some point in May, an exact date will be set once this is in Alpha testing as it will require some more intensive testing than usual updates.
Just to briefly cover version numbers, from now on the major number will only change when an entire day's new content is complete. "v.0.16.x" updates will be adding in a significant amount of new content or features, "v.0.16.x.X" updates will be bug fixes with no new content.
When the entirety of Monday is released, the version will flip to "v.0.17".
In the Defending Lydia v.0.16.1 update, there will be two new things added:
Firstly it will contain a small update featuring Vanessa, Tiffany and co which will see them return from the Island to the UK.
With Monday advancing the game's story, it is important to get all the routes coming back together so this is the first thing that needs to happen.

Secondly, it will contain achievements and an unlockable gallery.

I've been working on this for a while, and there will be an initial 50 different achievements for you to unlock, and each one will reward you with an unlockable image in the new secret gallery that will also be coming with it.

These images aren't "canon" to the story, they're just a fun way of putting the various characters in different situations and scenes in one off renders.
Achievements will mirror both in game and on Steam, so if you have Steam you'll get Steam achievements there too, and if you don't, you'll have in-game achievements and unlockables.
