Features:
  • Added a new graphics profile: "low (NoFur)". This profile toggles fur off which should greatly increase performance. This mode is mainly recommended if you encounter performance issues or if the game is run on a notebook.

  • Added a new graphics profile: "Fapt (NoFur)". This profile toggles fur off which should greatly increase performance. There is also a slightly sharper AA enabled in this profile for better line sharpness without much performance downsides. This mode is mainly recommended for high end PCs that appear to have issues with FeralIslands fur shader.
  • Added an improved raptor model to the gallery.
  • Added slit penetration with toys to the new raptor model in the gallery.
  • Added mouse hover highlights to the FeralPainter buttons.
  • Added a "Chest floof" button to the FeralPainter. You can now select different chest floof types for your personal Felkin. (Saving and exporting it is not working yet.)
  • You can now select horn, tail, mane variants in the FeralPainter.

Changes:
  • Changed the way fluids behaved and improved their performance slightly.
  • Enabled the raptor teeth again and made some changes to parts of the mesh that were not centered correctly.
  • Some more improvements to the raptor mesh: Slightly shorter snout and more detail.

Bugfixes:
  • Fixed an issue with orifice distance detection.
  • Fixed an bug with toy guidance.
  • Fixed a bug with disappearing parts of the Felkin eyes in the FeralPainter.
  • Fixed a bug in which curved thorny horns had flipped normals.

Features:
  • World Settings: You can now change the creatures sex spawn number. This allows to play on a male or female exclusive world. This setting applies for NPCs only. This means that you can play for example as a female in a male-only world!
  • Added the "creature details" screen to the character selection showing which unique body part a creature has. Arrows to change those are currently disabled but will be added with the new custom creature menu.
  • Added a new custom Felkin skin: "Puffin". You need to select the "custom textures"-mod in the mod menu to enable this Felkin texture.
  • Added an arrow keys to forward through "Creature Details" -> "World Settings" -> "Start Game"
  • Added toggled laying down. When pressing laying down, the creature is now staying down. Pressing laying buttons again while attracting will raise your tail.
  • Added a gray scale gradient to the color picker so that true grays can be selected.
  • Added a color picker to the FeralPainter.



Changes:
  • It is now required to enable the custom texture mod to load modded textures. (This was not the case before, because of testing reasons.)
  • Improved some label names in the world settings to be more fitting.
  • Updated the fluid simulation script package.
  • Updated the tail simulation script package.



Bugfixes:
  • Fixed a critical bug in which painted textures could not be loaded inside the FeralPainter once the painter was exited.
  • Fixed an issue with the mod selection menu not enabling texture loading properly.

Features:
  • Added swimming: The animation will be triggered when entering water.
  • Added the FeralPainter to FeralIsland. You can select the painter in the main menu. You can also press 7 in the main menu.
  • Added a gender toggle to the painter. Male and Female Felkin share the same UV.
  • Added paintable male & female bits! You can toggle male bits with the newly added "sheath creature detail" button.
  • Added some tool labels as a little QoL feature to the painter.
  • Added a live UV-Paint view to the painter that shows real time changes to the texture.
  • Added masking. You can now select between different masking layers to prevent painting over other parts of the creature.
  • Added a slider for brush size.
  • Added a slider for brush opacity.
  • Added a slider for brush hardness.
  • Added a slider for smudge size and strength.
  • Added a live fur paint mode.
  • Added a lighting toggle.
  • You can now save & load textures. You can find the saved textures in the Exported_Felkin folder. You can rename blank.png for multiple felkin textures.
  • You can now exit the application by pressing the exit button or by pressing escape.
  • Updated the water system and added depth fog and under water effects. There was also a ripple effect if you are getting into the water.
  • Added better ripple and foam control. The particles are now only enabled when the player Felkin is in water and close to the water surface.
  • Lowered the icon size to make room for more tool icons!
  • Textures now correctly share common texture data between multiple models. Male, Female and male genitals are all different models but painting those will now use a correctly merged texture slot that now is exported into a single .png file by pressing the save button!
  • Added the "Load Custom Texture" mod to the modding menu. You need to enable the "Load Custom Texture" mod to use any .png file as a custom creature texture. At the moment it is recommended to use only textures of a 2048x2048 pixel size. At the moment, only one texture can be loaded at a time. But I am planning to allow multiple textures to be loaded in the future.


Changes:
  • The camera clipping was improved to prevent the camera from peeking through the surface.
  • Your tail raises quicker, when you attract NPCs.
  • Better transition to the laying down state while attracting.
  • Water ripples are now turned off when not moving/swimming.
  • Paint changes are now calculated every time the mouse is moved or pressed instead of every frame. This is both a performance improvement and an improvement for handling different brush opacities.
  • Texture changes when painting in fur mode appear quicker now.
  • Nearly halved the Feral Painter file size.

  • Added a new mating animation for players that mate with laying Felkin.
  • Added NPCs laying on their side and on their back. 
  • Added missionary mating with NPCs.
  • Added a new animation to NPCs that are mounted while laying.
  • Added better LOD culling for far away NPCs.
  • Added a mounting queue. A player controlled Felkin can now only be mounted by one NPC. The Felkin also take turns! This means the partners change after being attracted. 
  • Added NPC attraction while the player Felkin is laying down.
  • Improved the mounting queue to check for multiple slots and counting attracted Felkin correctly. 
  • The correct animation is now playing when a NPC Felkin mounts a laying player.


Changes:
  • Changed the chance for NPCs to lay down to be mated to roughly 50%.
  • Changed the way mating position chances are rolled for NPCs. 
  • Lowered the animation transition speed of two mating invitation animations to be more dynamic and based of the stance time.
  • Felkin NPCs now appear in small herds. The overall number of NPCs was nearly doubled.

  • Fixed a parenting related bug with tails.
  • Fixed an instance of a mounting Felkin sliding off from a partner.
  • Fixed another bug that caused NPC Felkin from sliding off from their mating partner. 
  • Fixed a bug that prevented player controlled Felkin from laying down and rolling on its back. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the ground fitter interfered with NPC directions after mounting.

Features:
  • Added a way to raise your tail on the Island. If you press the mounting button and no mountable creature is close you now raise your tail.  
  • Female Felkin paws now have the correct number of toes.
  • Added a chance to NPCs raising their tails too. You can also mount NPCs that are raising their tails.
  • Added NPC responses when attracted by tail raising. NPCs will now walk towards you with a slightly higher speed and start to mount you once they reached your position.
  • The NPC / Player interaction is now showing the correct animations when a player is mounted.
  • Attracted NPCs now run towards the rear and not the player center. 
  • Attracted NPCs now have a higher turn angle to avoid them not quite 'catching' the player. 
  • Attracted NPCs now sprint happily towards the player. Cute!
  • Added a credits menu to the game that shows personal icons of patrons and subscribers. There are currently 33 personal icons added. The credits menu can be accessed through the intro screen and the personal icons will start to appear.
  • Added a status icons bar to the player UI. There are currently two statuses. Spotted and mounted.
  • Felkin NPCs are now aroused when attracted. 
  • Felkin NPCs are now aroused when mounted. 
  • Excitement degrades 3x faster for NPCs if they are not attracted or mounted. There will be more ways to attract NPCs in the future!
  • Added a FPS counter to the island. The FPS-counter can be toggled by pressing F1.

Changes:
  • The way excitement grows and degrades was overhauled. Start a new island game to play with the new system. When a player attracts other NPCs the players excitement grows. When the player is mounted the excitement grows even more. Also the manual excitement growth(Right clicking) was reduced because there are now other sources to get the bar to 100%.
  • With all sandboxes and the core game having VR-support, I edited the main menu text to reflect these improvements.
  • The animation for Raising your tail is now transitioning slower. 
  • The animation for getting mounted is now transitioning slower. 
  • NPCs now raiser their tails less often. Info: They can still be mounted as often as before, but the playful animation is triggered more often. 
  • Doubled the detection and awareness radius of NPCs and players. Be careful who you attract with your lifted tail! ;>
  • The excitement UI color gradient is now white at 0% and transitions to pink and dark red at 100%. 
  • Removed the exit time requirement when NPCs attempt to mount the player. NPCs mount the player quicker if in mounting range.
  • The text of the intro screen was updated.
  • Excitement from NPCs attracted by the player now grows less instantaneous. (Roughly 5x which is still quick enough.) 
  • The tail animator is now reacting more to character direction changes.
  • Reduced the steps to calculate physics by a third to improve performance by roughly 10%
  • Updated the NPC rig to support animations that were created for the current player rig. 
  • Felkin lower hind-legs got a minor mesh improvement.


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed some animator bugs related to tail raising.
  • Fixed a bug in which the mating NPC was not rotating correctly towards the player. 
  • Fixed a bug in which the mating NPC was stuck in the ground.
  • Fixed a bug in which the excitement bar was displaced and not visible on the island UI. 
  • Fixed a bug in which attracted NPCs would be stuck in a loop and run in cycles if they do not find the player. Poor floofers!
  • Used FixedUpdate() to handle creature movement. This might fix creature sliding.
  • Fixed a bug in which the eye rigs got displaced with certain animations.
