Riri - April Fools 2025

A recap of this year's April Fools "AR" images! This time with Riri, for a bit of change of pace (don't worry Mabel's still going to be around for stuff, she just slept in this year and missed the portal).

Riri (profile update 2022)

Another character update! This time for Riri, another older-ish character who actually was updated recently enough to have a Patreon post for it, though that’s still nearly four years ago!

Like many others, I don’t think I’ve really given Riri a proper introduction either, so she’s due for a lil’ blurb there… Riri is as sweet-hearted and kind as they come, bubbly and positive to a fault. She’s very soft-spoken and gentle both in actions and personality; though she can shrink others like all Paerans can, she often prefers to go for prey that are already tiny, enjoying to keep things more calm and gentle when she indulges herself.

Despite this, it’s incredibly easy for Riri to (unintentionally) overwhelm her prey, given her disarmingly playful approach and of course the sheer immensity of her tongue once her prey has been introduced to it. Some that encounter her may also stumble upon the knowledge that, being part-angel, she possesses magics to safely retrieve prey after they’ve been swallowed; those few who discover this are likely to subsequently be surprised upon learning that she very rarely does so, Riri seeing no real reason to not simply eat those she captures, and considering it to be not at all unkind on her part to simply send them on their way to reformation after she’s had her fill of playing with them.

Yet another character update! This time, it's one of the characters that was requested to be moved up the priority list, and happily coinciding with my own whims in the moment.

Riri has been due for some updating for a little while now; she actually had a small update not long ago, but I wasn't satisfied with the results (attempting to make her look a bit less childlike). I'm happier now with how she looks, after a minor bit of face changes, a very slight change in chest size, a more realistic body shape, and finally some tweaks to her tongue. The latter has nothing to do with how young she looks, I just wanted to work on it some more. :D

Since I don't believe I've mentioned it here, yet... there are a lot of characters to be updated, eventually. A nice ongoing project, but also running the risk of getting a bit... spammy, here, so as things proceed I'll probably try to start bundling these updates together in fewer posts. Not all the time; sometimes I only update one per month or so, and that's fine I think. But in the instances where there's multiples over just a couple weeks, I'll try to start putting them all into compilation posts instead. With the individual images as attachments, of course. Just like I'm doing here! Check those out for a bit more detail.

"I don't understand. Is this special?"

A simple little piece! This was a suggestion from Dominik Laher, which I thought would be fun to put together; Riri trying to lick her elbow, and naturally suceeding with little trouble. :P

I've got one more small-ish suggestion piece I'd like to work on this month, as part of my effort to start catching up again to the level of activity I'd had a long while back. I'll probably try to re-do my whole Patreon before the end of the month too, re-working the goals and rewards and all that so it's a bit simplier and hopefully easier to keep up with. I'll make another post on that topic when I've figured out a little more, though!
