Technically everything was already posted in full resolution, but I have no idea what Twitter's compression is like on these. So consider this an extra bonus for everyone; all of the images are rendered in the same default 4k(?) size that my phone takes photos in ^^

As an extra extra bonus, I'll also be aiming to post a nice behind the scenes on these later, since it's a more involved technique than my usual due to the photos being involved! I got it more or less figured out this year to make it as simple as possible, but it's still pretty complex (and I'm quite proud of it). Not quite as far as 3D tracking and stuff like you'd use for VFX in movies, but a similar concept.
Expect that in... probably not for a couple of days at least, since I have some other IRL job things to take care of, but we'll see where I find the time for it!

Penny's playtime (April Fools follow-up?)

A silly thought I had to make into a proper scene while it was still April :D The one LEGO model of mine that wasn't on display during April Fools, and now we know where it went... Mabel bringing a present back home for Penny to play with, of course~

Sadly no minifigures came along for the ride, so Penny can't play exactly like Mabel was, but they're the wrong scale for a bigger model like this anyway. I mean, so are Penny's tiny friends, but they probably won't be in there for too long...

"A belated update to say that Mabel and Momiji have returned to Paeratopa now, and things are returning to... mostly normal ^^ That said, I should probably share the last selfie the two of them left on my phone..."

After losing track of time with this whole scenario and only coming up with the idea for a finale today, I didn't quite expect this piece to come together so quickly, nor for it to end up being so... big. But I'm very happy with the end result, and I hope you all are too!

Now to resume doing stuff like this, just minus the legos :P
