Nyue - character update 2024

And now for an extra-old character update! It seems I never really made a proper introduction for Nyue when I first made her (not even sure what year that was in, probably 2015-ish), so this will be both update and introduction it seems ^^

Nyue is a Paeran catgirl, as her appearance might suggest! Ears, tail, the occasional overwhelming urge to bat at small fluffy things, the usual stuff. Magically quite a capable size-manipulator, though she can only shrink people, not undo her work... Well, aside from the 'usual' method of returning someone to their original size in Paeratopa, which her appetite helps with.
Partly because of this magical limitation, partly just trying to be nice, Nyue generally tries not to shrink others, but when she's especially hungry, nobody - not even herself - can suppress her appetite; it's an urge she's sometimes a little upset by her lack of control over, as she'll sometimes shrink a tasty-looking prey without even realizing she's doing so.

That being said, humans (and other such races) are still food to her, as much as she does like them to also be friend; while she's especially apologetic over such lapses in control over herself, that doesn't mean she's not going to enjoy indulging herself when the opportunity presents itself! She just wishes she had a little more willpower over the matter. (Also as a result though, she quite likes finding people already shrunken, or better yet, ones who don't mind being a kitty snack!)

Alice - character update 2024

By now you may have already seen Alice updated in her own scene, but here's her full profile to follow along with that!

Not terribly much has changed from her original posting, so for posterity here's a link to the 2019 post. Admittedly her personality is likewise still not fully fleshed out since then either, but it's made progress!

Alice is of course a vampire of the Paeran variety (she doesn't have a taste for blood, rather that instinct tends to manifest as just a desire to 'suck' the size out of her prey and consume them whole). She also possesses some chiiname traits, which are mostly visible in her lengthy and limber tongue...
A fine trait for someone who has a bit of a teasing personality, Alice quite enjoys flustering her prey with a combination of tongue showoffs and a bit of breathy play, in some cases with breath that's been 'flavored' with some of her food choices. While she's not so keen on straight-up eating garlic or the like, it's not a food she has any problem with, something she likes to taunt some of the more superstitious targets with; it amuses her greatly how many humans have all of these ideas about how vampires are warded off by garlic or weakened by silver, when in reality for her she loves the look of silver jewelry and thinks garlic makes a fine (if maybe not her favorite) seasoning~

She's a big tease for sure, but not quite the 'bully' that someone like Yuumi or Mabel is. Alice is much more calm and focused; her teasing is often more of an idle aside as she's reading a novel and playing with her food, and she's also unexpectedly perceptive to the occasional distress of some humans who are not at all used to being consumed like this yet, always willing to put her playtime to pause so she can explain such situations to her soon-to-be snacks. Of course, they will be her food, eventually, but that doesn't mean she can't be a little more gentle about it, convey to them that they'll remain safe... Whether or not they choose to accept this is entirely on them, is all.

Osane (character profile)

Not nearly as long of a wait to meet the next new Paeran! Give a hungry hello to Osane~

A mixture of tsubashii and demon traits, Osane outwardly looks fairly ordinary aside from some larger ears (hidden behind her hair) and a particularly huge tongue (hidden within her mouth). An abundance of saliva is also a trait of hers, usually hidden but not always... :D Magically speaking she's simple but powerful; able to enlarge herself with relative ease, though she rarely has reason to, especially when she's also capable of shrinking others to even smaller than usual if she likes, her magic lasting indefinitely so long as her target is remotely close to her and she hasn't decided to un-shrink them herself.

In terms of personality, Osane is yet another of those semi-rare paerans who's not opposed to simply... letting you go, after she's enjoyed playing with you! She can un-shrink you after all, and is perfectly happy to do so when you're ready to head home. Just... in practice it's an exceedingly uncommon occurrence; above all else Osane loves to lick and slurp and savor the taste of tinies along with her meals, and while she's not particularly trying to eat them along with the rest, she's very reluctant on needing to refrain from swallowing a delicious mouthful just because a tiny friend is still in there... And good luck not being in there when it comes to swallowing time~ Osane's appetite is utterly enormous, as is her love of creative food constructs, finding ways to turn two sandwiches into one big one, finding a home for all of her leftovers in one meal, or simply exploring different combinations of flavors and textures together... And more often than not, you are the most enticing addition to her meal she can think of~

Hazel (character profile)

It's been a little while again! But say hello to another new Paeran, Hazel <3

Like Mabel and Maple before her, Hazel is also of the cow-like variety, with a bit of (Paeran) angel traits mixed-in there. Now usually the latter implies protective or retrieval magics, but given that Hazel can just ruminate anyone she gulps down, she's simply... never had much need to use such abilities!

This lackadaisical approach well suits her personality in general, she's not the sort to think too hard or try too hard about much of anything. She usually prefers to just lazily go with the flow, and that flow usually involves her casually satisfying her fixations by always having some sort of candy, or food, or tinies to slosh around in her mouth... or in her rumen, if she's decided to 'save' some for later cravings. She can be a bit unintentionally greedy with this, it's hard for her to show restraint when delicious things are right there in easy reach! Certainly she would never go around taking anything away from her friends, but on occasion a friend might need to give her a bit of a nudging to have her ruminate any tiny friends of theirs Hazel might have swallowed without thinking. She's very gentle and sweet and well-meaning, but they just feel so nice in her mouth, and what's the harm of just... borrowing a few...~

Hinako (profile update 2024)

Time again for a character update! I apparently haven't done a proper one of these in a while, and today's update is for a character who was last seen in 2018, so long overdue for attention.

Not much has changed character-wise since then, so I'll let you refer to that old profile of hers! Just a whole lot of visual updating here to get her back up to standard, and hopefully finding a scene for her soon as well. Maybe making use of the fact that she enjoys being giantess-sized quite often? :D

Naomi and Nia (character profiles)

Kicking things off this year with something different, a pair of characters I've already shown here and there in doodles (and even a finished piece), but finally getting around to some proper profiles! Meet Naomi and Nia, two girlfriends from an entirely different setting than my norm, more modern-age but with magic and inhabitants big and tiny alike (Naomi and Nia being on the 'big' end of that scale).

Starting things off with Naomi, a powerful mage within her world. Though magic is relatively commonplace and plays a pivotal role in everyday technology, those who can utilize magic directly are more rare, and few as strong as Naomi; specializing in size manipulation magics (always in-demand in a world with inhabitants of different sizes trying to co-exist), though it's not all she's capable of!
While toying with or outright consuming tiny denizens is not something particularly... allowed within her world, that's not to say it doesn't happen... and certainly not to say that she's not one of the ones doing it with relative frequency :D Especially in private with her girlfriend Nia, the two of them find many opportunities to surreptitiously whisk tinies away to use as playthings and snacks between them, taking full advantage of both Naomi's magical prowess and the magical protections cast across this strange world to keep those tiny folk safe when 'accidents' might occur.

And speaking of Nia, she too is quite skilled with her own magics, even if she might not be quite as directly powerful as her larger girlfriend. Her own specialty of choice is transformation, though she's also ravenously curious to learn all sorts of magics. Perhaps her favorite use of magics is to transform herself in subtle or not-so-subtle ways, in particular taking the freedom to... enhance her own tongue to especially fun lengths. :D
In contrast to Naomi's more mature, some might say sultry vibe, Nia is far more of the playful and mischievous type, enjoying little jokes and teases for those tinies she might get her hands upon, always relishing the opportunity to fluster someone a bit before delightedly feeding them to her often-hungry girlfriend...

Enjoy this peek into both of these characters as well as their world! I intend to flesh all of this out further in the future, expanding more upon the setting and the variety of characters I've been dreaming up for it, a little something different to go alongside the more fantasy-esque fun of Paeratopa without straying far from the overall experience of non-fatal fun I enjoy. ^^
