Alice - character update 2024

By now you may have already seen Alice updated in her own scene, but here's her full profile to follow along with that!

Not terribly much has changed from her original posting, so for posterity here's a link to the 2019 post. Admittedly her personality is likewise still not fully fleshed out since then either, but it's made progress!

Alice is of course a vampire of the Paeran variety (she doesn't have a taste for blood, rather that instinct tends to manifest as just a desire to 'suck' the size out of her prey and consume them whole). She also possesses some chiiname traits, which are mostly visible in her lengthy and limber tongue...
A fine trait for someone who has a bit of a teasing personality, Alice quite enjoys flustering her prey with a combination of tongue showoffs and a bit of breathy play, in some cases with breath that's been 'flavored' with some of her food choices. While she's not so keen on straight-up eating garlic or the like, it's not a food she has any problem with, something she likes to taunt some of the more superstitious targets with; it amuses her greatly how many humans have all of these ideas about how vampires are warded off by garlic or weakened by silver, when in reality for her she loves the look of silver jewelry and thinks garlic makes a fine (if maybe not her favorite) seasoning~

She's a big tease for sure, but not quite the 'bully' that someone like Yuumi or Mabel is. Alice is much more calm and focused; her teasing is often more of an idle aside as she's reading a novel and playing with her food, and she's also unexpectedly perceptive to the occasional distress of some humans who are not at all used to being consumed like this yet, always willing to put her playtime to pause so she can explain such situations to her soon-to-be snacks. Of course, they will be her food, eventually, but that doesn't mean she can't be a little more gentle about it, convey to them that they'll remain safe... Whether or not they choose to accept this is entirely on them, is all.

The tiny figure jolted, face flushing red with the realization they'd been caught staring at that admittedly sensual display of hotdog-slurping. “Wh-what...-”
“I don't mind,” Alice continued, a subtle grin playing across her lips. “Here, this is a better view...”

With her long and limber tongue, Alice is always delighted to utilize it for a bit of teasing... Or sometimes more than just the tease, if her target makes for a particularly tasty topping~

A bit of a last-moment addition to October's finished works! I've been wanting to update Alice, and beyond that, to actually give her a feature in a scene. With a cameo from her housemate Zoey, who's enjoying watching the fun too! And Elise, who's having a bit of trouble watching said fun...

Say hello to my newest character, Alice!

Actually that's not quite true. This is a remake of a very very old character of mine, coincidentally also named Alice. She's not quite the same; major updates in style of course, but also, the old Alice didn't have nearly as long a tongue, for one. (the old Alice was made prior to The Great Hard-Drive Accident of I Forget When Exactly, so her tongue model was unfortunately the one I lost, and impossible to replicate now as a result.)

Anyhow! All of that is in the past. Alice is now basically a start-over, a new character with some familiar design elements. I have scant few vampires in my roster, and Alice is very much one; of the Paeran variety, as is usually the case, but still counts. Paeran vampires don't suck blood - in fact quite the opposite, their saliva has healing properties, so bites won't cause wounds - though they do tend to like the biting approach for shrinking people, and they all tend to have an odd attraction to foods like ketchup. I haven't quite fleshed out new-Alice's personality and traits just yet, though I definitely imagine her being the sort to playfully bite her prey, using the opportunity to shrink them while they're caught by her lips and fangs.

On the note of fleshing-out! There's another character remake to follow this, another character who once upon a time was named... Alice. A succubus in this case, and due for a name change of course, but I intend the two of them to be a bit of a set, a teasing pair who very much enjoy working together and sharing in any prey they capture. Fun!
