Friday Progress Update, Oct 17: "The End is Nigh"
Hola, ni hao, bonjour, and hello!
It's Friday and I've been waiting for six days to be allowed to write another progress update, no cap!
So let's dive into it. Have there been any progress to report on? Yes, there have! I'm done with animations now. Actually, not quite as I'm still rendering on a 20-second sequence and it's going to take some 25 hours to render it and I've only done about 8 hours so far.
As far as still renders go, I think there might be 50 to go. Some are a tad complicated and need some setup, but still. Not too far to go. Then there's the other stuff, obviously. Postwork, coding, proofing, testing, bla bla bla. The dream is a release this month, but I won't swear to it yet. One must have dreams.
The animation count seems to land at 14. Some longer, some shorter, you know how it goes. The render count will be embarrassingly low for the time it's taking. But I think it's more due to slow script writing than slow posing & rendering.
Anyway, we're getting there. The end is indeed nigh.
Here's a picture to distract you.
What's she watching? That's the wrong question!
Anyway, there was a very creative question this week!
Wolfram99
is the creativity for MtP game running dry?
Well, if it is, it's a good time for it, right? Since the end is upon us. That said, in some ways, I guess it is. The "story" has run its course, the part with Cousin Vlad, the revenge thing, all that. In some ways, there was much of the creativity went. Not many cared for that part of the game though. All my hints and things I was clever with was for nothing. Sadface. There's a million "creative" things for boys and girls to do together that I've not explored, but I'll save that for the next one (except the content of this coming update, of course).
Phew, rambling. I'll do some more renders. Have a nice weekend and thank you for reading and for your support!
