Juno - Beastars
Who's Juno? Juno is a sociable and cheerful gray wolf from Beastars. Ambitious, she initially rivaled Louis, a red deer, to become the Beastar (a revered figure in society), before falling in love with him. However, as Louis was already bound to an arranged marriage, their relationship came to an end, and they were forced to go their separate ways.
This time, I’m much more familiar with the characters, having read the manga and watched the anime. The issue is that Louis is now married to Azuki, a female red deer. However, they have canonically agreed to be business partners, and to act as husband and wife only in appearance. They are not in love.
Azuki is a very pragmatic and mature person. Since she was raised to serve as a means of creating a connection between her father’s company and Louis’ father’s, her main wish is to fulfill that role and ensure the success of the business.
Therefore, Azuki wouldn’t necessarily oppose Louis having an affair with Juno. In fact, she might even support it, as keeping Louis emotionally stable could benefit the company. So I thought of a story where Louis and Juno could reunite, even in secret, while also giving Azuki more room to exist as a character and actively support them... while also gaining something from it herself.
As Azuki said to Louis: "As your wife, it’s only normal that I help you maintain your appearance. "
I’d also like to give Juno a happier ending than in the anime. In the manga, her outcome is different and arguably more positive, as she moves beyond her fixation on romance. However, in the anime, her ending feels much sadder, unfair even. Since most people are more familiar with the anime version, I’d prefer to build on that. And make everybody, Louis, Juno AND Azuki, happier.

Whisper the Wolf - Sonic the Hedgehog
Not too familiar with her, only know the basics, but I’ve always liked her design, and been a sucker for tragic tough girls!
Who's Whisper? Whisper the Wolf is a character from the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog comics. An anthropomorphic wolf and sole survivor of the original Diamond Cutters after Mimic’s betrayal, she became distant and mistrustful. A skilled fighter aided by Wisps, she eventually learned to trust again through Sonic and his allies, later reforming the Diamond Cutters in honor of her fallen team.
As the character is unofficially considered to be in a romantic relationship with another female, Tangle the Lemur (not officially confirmed, but the hints are just REALLY on the nose), it would likely be a lesbian story between the two. No idea about the exact story, probably their first time, with Tangle helping Whisper overcome the loneliness she imposed on herself.
I just can’t help it. Stories about finding peace of soul are kind of my jam.

Fabienne Growley - Zootopia
Years ago, around 2021, my wife, Spirale, and I were interested by doing a comic together. We thought a Zootopia story could be a good idea, but we weren’t inspired — nor particularly interested — in doing a Judy x Nick story for several reasons.
After looking for characters who might work better, I realized I had a soft spot for that snow leopard from the ZNN, Fabienne Growley. So I wrote a story about her and her coworker, Peter Moosebridge, showing their inner perspective on the events of Zootopia 1. It actually became the very first NSFW comic I ever storyboarded.
But for various reasons, we weren’t able to make it at the time. Still, because it’s a story I really enjoyed creating — and my first NSFW project — I’d love to bring it to life someday.

YOUR Tier List of characters - Results
Hello there, Here are the results of the polls! Note that they’re organized within each tier in numerical order, from the highest number to the lowest.
No surprise seeing Diane at the very top. That’s kind of why you’re here in the first place, right?
However, I can’t rely on popularity alone when making comics, since popularity doesn’t necessarily mean I like the character (although I do like them at least a little; otherwise they wouldn’t be on the list in the first place). I also need to enjoy what I’m doing if I want to create a good story, right?
So here's my own tier list as well: Yeah, the most popular ones aren’t really my favorites. I’m more into the archetype of the strong female warrior, who’s also very maternal, caring, and spiritual.
By combining the two lists, I ended up with a new one that functions as a kind of priority guide. The idea was to shift characters depending on how passionate you are about them and how passionate I am. Even if I’m the one writing and initially drawing these stories, they can’t exist without your support at the end of things, so I can’t just push my favorites while ignoring the most popular ones you chose. Which brings us to this tier list: Truly surprised that I’ve already found ideas for so many characters.
However, keep in mind that just because a character ranks high on the priority list, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll get a comic sooner than a low-priority one. It mainly depends on whether I find the right artist (since artists usually choose the characters they want to draw) and how much the story matters to me.
This priority list is full of exceptions and little oddities (such as Juno being so high even though I’m neutral about her — it’s mostly because I wrote that story with my wife, so it’s more personal).
So don’t treat the list as gospel; it’s just a general guide.
