Is this really their village? It feels broken, worn down, almost in ruins.
I’ve faced their kind before, but nothing like this. Is it some kind of… celebration? If it even deserves that name. The females seem to enjoy what’s happening as much as the males… Still, it looks very rough. I wouldn’t trade places with any of them.

No. I can’t allow myself to drift. I don’t even want to imagine what they’d do if they found me.
This village feels like madness given form. Pressing further might be a mistake. Perhaps I should turn back and disappear into the forest instead.
But without tools or equipment, I’m completely vulnerable. With so many warriors gathered here, all utterly distracted, exploring the village would certainly allow me to recover something useful.

They know someone piloted that ship. Their patrols are sweeping through the forest, and if I stay put, they’ll corner me. Without my staff, confronting them all would be reckless.
There seems to be a village nearby; I can hear activity in the distance. I’ve spent years on Sauria, yet this stretch of forest is unfamiliar to me. I don’t know who lives there, nor how they’ll react to a stranger emerging from the woods. Still, in a moment like this, any help could make a difference.
Going deeper into the forest isn’t exactly appealing. Twisting, tentacled shapes writhe through the shadows, poised to snatch anything that strays too near… only to be devoured, I imagine?...
They’re unsettling, but their rhythm is obvious, almost sluggish. If I time my steps, I can slip past them with ease.
The SharpClaw, however, are loud and heavy-footed. If they followed me in there, they’d blunder straight into those creatures… and likely be caught before they even realized it.
No time to hesitate. It’ll be safer for me to: A. Head to the village for potential help. B. Use the deep forest to trap my pursuers.
