Witch Hunter 0.26.1 is now available for $5+ patrons!
We are also continuing the EX format. Next week we will start the first poll to decide which scene from version 0.26 you would like to see expanded in 0.26EX. At the moment we are considering a slightly different voting structure. For example, we may run two polls, and in each poll the scenes that take first and second place would be considered the winners. We will see what works best. Maybe we will come up with an even better format by next week.
For now, enjoy version 0.26 and have fun!
Important! Saves from version 0.14 and newer will work with this build (except 0.15.1, which may have issues). Saves from older versions are not supported. Please remember this is an early build. Even though we tested the update carefully, there may still be some bugs we did not catch. If you find any, please report them in our Discord group, via direct message, in the comments, or by email.

Greetings, everyone!
Just a few days after releasing version 0.26, we've spotted a few bugs thanks to your feedback. The biggest one was that players could access the new content with Elion on Meridian at basically any point in the game (even before version 0.26). So, we're rolling out version 0.26.1 on an emergency basis, where we've fixed that issue and made a few tweaks to the content.
Here's a quick rundown of all the fixes in version 0.26.1:
- Fixed the bug with Elion's room on Meridian,
- Added a fatigue parameter for characters in the new repeating scenes,
- Fixed the bug with Cedric's transformation during battles,
And we've also polished up some details we didn't quite finish in time, including:
- Added several text plugins at key moments,
- Refined the music and sounds,
- Updated the new art in the game's main menu,
As always, thanks for spotting these issues so quickly. Your help is making the project better for the whole community. We appreciate you!
We've also noticed that a lot of you really liked the new music on the main screen, and some folks were asking what it is and where it's from. It's actually our custom take on the original W.I.T.C.H. theme from the second season's opening. For anyone unfamiliar with the show, we recommend checking it out on YouTube. You can download our version of the track here.

Спустя несколько дней после релиза версии 0.26, благодаря вашим отзывам мы обнаружили несколько багов. Главный из них был связан с тем, что игроки могли получить доступ к новому контенту с Элион на Меридиане буквально в любой момент игры (то есть до версии 0.26). Поэтому мы в экстренном порядке выпускаем версию 0.26.1, в которой мы исправили эту ошибку, а также внесли несколько доработок в контент.
Вот краткий список всех исправлений в версии 0.26.1:
- Исправлен баг с комнатой Элион на Меридиане
- Добавлен параметр усталости персонажей в новых повторяющихся сценах
- Исправлен баг с трансформацией Седрика во время боя
А также мы доработали те детали, которые не успели закончить в срок, а именно:
- Добавлено несколько текстовых плагинов в ключевых моментах
- Доработана музыка и звуки
- Доработан новый арт в главном меню игры

Hi everyone!
After all this waiting, Witch Hunter 0.26 is finally here!
In this update you can expect major progress in the main story, new characters (one of them is very important for future plot events and for the story of the original W.I.T.C.H. series as a whole), and a new look for Elyon as a new story arc begins. You can see Elyon’s new Princess outfit on the release cover.
This update also contains content from 0.25EX. So if you missed it, we recommend starting from the events after the fair, the event in the new shopping mall.
Quick reminder to make it easier to unlock fair related content:
If you play with cheats enabled, you will be given a scene choice even if you did not collect enough money at the fair. If you choose Start -> Start from new content (0.26) in the main menu, you will be able to select how much money you collected at the fair. This should help you unlock all scenes in this update without having to replay the fair.
A few critical issues came up during final polishing that had to be addressed before release, so the update took longer than expected. We did not post additional updates because we did not think another explanatory post after the changelog was a good idea. We just wanted to release it as soon as possible.
Because of this, you may notice a couple of minor unfinished details in the update. For example, we did not have time to finish one of the new castle backgrounds, so Cedric mentions that the castle has changed even though it has not been updated visually yet. We will fix these things soon.
The delay was stressful for the whole team, and we have to be honest, this is the first time we have faced a delay of this size during the entire development. We are truly sorry it turned out this way, and that we could not speed things up. We learned a lot from this situation and we really hope it will not happen again. We will work to prevent it going forward. And we hope this delay does not ruin the release for you, because we put a lot of effort into this update.
! Important ! Saves from version 0.14 and newer will work with this build (except 0.15.1, which may cause issues). Saves from older versions are not supported. Please remember this is an early build. И немного слов о возникшей задержке после публикации Changelog. В процессе доработки у нас возникло несколько критических моментов, которые требовали доработки до релиза, поэтому мы задержались. Апдейтов по этой теме не было, поскольку мы не думали, что еще один оправдательный пост после публикации Changelog это хорошая идея. Мы просто хотели выпустить все как можно скорее. В связи с этим вы можете заметить пару незначительных недоработок в обновлении (например мы не успели закончить один из новых бэкграундов в замке, поэтому в тексте Седрик отмечает, что замок изменился, хотя пока что это не так). Все эти вещи мы исправим в скором времени.
Вся эта ситуация с задержкой релиза - это стресс для всей команды и, пожалуй, такое случается впервые за все время нашей разработки. Нашей команде искренне жаль о том, что обстоятельства сложились таким образом и мы не могли ничего предпринять, чтобы ускорить процесс. Мы определенно вынесли урок из этой ситуации и мы все надеемся, что такого больше не произойдет. Будем работать над этим. Надеемся данная ситуация не омрачит для вас выход самого обновления, над которым мы так старались.
