Unexpected Announcement

Now, at last, I get to announce my collaboration with Werey for the 2025 Preggo Game Jam! 

The game is called

The concept came from the idea of, “what if there was a murder mystery themed story, like with Knives Out or Murder On The Orient Express, but instead of the characters trying to uncover who the murderer is, there is a mysterious pregnancy announcement, and the Main Character has to figure out who he knocked up?”

The game begins with the MC showing up to work for a house showing with his coworker Kate, and she tells him about a call from a girl who left a message to tell him he is going to be a daddy, but didn’t leave a name. 

It’s a slow day and no one has shown up to view the house, so they sit and enjoy the view as Kate asks the MC to recall his recent exploits and they both try to figure out who the mystery girl is. He gives each of the girls a call, but for various reasons, no one answers or calls him back.

We got as far as we could in three weeks, and Werey actually produced even more images than we were able to use in the Game Jam version. So Unexpected is not complete and still doesn't reach the point where the culprit is revealed quite yet, but the script is written, and a lot of the visuals are completed, so I’ll continue finishing up the game in between main game updates.

This game uses a new format, made using Twine to work in a browser and designed to be much quicker to produce, as it relies less on visuals and is more text based than a traditional visual novel. Having Werey make the renders was also a huge help, as that tends to be the part that takes me the longest. As a bonus, working with a different art style was a nice change of pace, and I hope you guys like what we’ve come up with.

As I’ve mentioned before, I feel bad with how long of a wait there have been between the main game updates for Hypnosis and Endowed, so I keep looking for something to offer you guys between updates without taking nearly as much time to complete. A little extra work to say thank you for all your support.

This game took up most of my attention for the past month, and a lot of that was learning the new engine, so it's not a complete game yet. But now that it’s created and established I can work on it in my free time and hopefully come out with a quicker release schedule due to how much more lightweight it is.

I still plan to work on Hypnosis and Endowed full time, this is simply a side project to play with to hopefully get me out of the rut I sometimes find myself in where progress is slow and tedious and I need to remind myself how it doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to be fun... and completed!

Now that you know the basic plot and story beats, some of you are probably asking, “what kind of fetish content is there?”

Obviously pregnancy is part of it, as is impregnation. The other concept is taking a Main Character who claims he doesn’t have a pregnancy fetish and his coworker challenging him on that by saying, “are you sure?”

This makes him question it, as his past actions have suggested otherwise. My goal was to attempt to challenge the casual player who doesn’t tend to enjoy such content and see if there’s something there they might like.

However, I also didn’t want to force pregnancy on the player. Despite the title, and the fact the game was introduced in a preggo game jam, I didn’t want to force the player into anything they didn’t like.

So there will be the chance to say, “no thanks, no pregnancy content for me” and still continue the game without it. At that point, the typical kinks and fetishes of Expanding Universe Games will also be built into the story, such as breast expansion, ass expansion, the option for harems or individual girls, etc.

Unexpected will also connect to the lore of Endowed, although both games will be self contained.

So if you aren’t a fan of pregnancy or impregnation, don’t let the title or main theme scare you off. You may now be wondering, “if that’s part of the main plot, how will it be avoidable?” and all I can say is that perhaps that’s another mystery to uncover?
