I Have Known You – v4.02, Dev report
Hey everyone!
I hope you have spent an amazing holiday season with your family and loved ones ❤️
Damn, this was an amazing year. In 2025, we achieved so much, and I’d like to highlight a few key moments.
#1. We created around 6,000–7,000 renders this year. That’s roughly 600 renders per month, which is honestly incredible progress.
#2. We published our first game, Carnal Contract, on Steam - and more than 20,000 of you bought it there. The game currently has almost 160 reviews and sits in the Very Positive category. Knowing that 20,000 players enjoyed the game truly makes me happy.
#3 Our second game, I Have Known You, got its Steam store page approved! If you haven’t already, make sure to add it to your wishlist!
As we step into a new year, we’re full of plans, motivation, and dedication to making I Have Known You the best game it can be. So let’s dive into the latest development update!
I Have Known You – v4.02 Dev Report
⏳ Current Progress
- ✅ 529 renders completed and ready
- ✅ 4 scenes finished
I still need to complete one more scene and make a few animations. After that, we’ll be ready to prepare the update.
Previews
⏳ Estimated release:
It’s still a bit early to lock in a fixed date, but my current estimate is around 2 weeks until the build is ready for you to play.
Additional Improvements in Progress
Besides the main story and renders, we’ve also been working on improving other aspects of the game:
UI Updates
I’ve made several visual improvements to the game’s interface, including menus, preferences, and overall presentation.
Character Profiles
Each character will now have a dedicated profile screen featuring:
- Character information
- Gallery images
- Journey
- Progression details
Free Rooms
Each night before the MC goes to sleep, there will be optional Free Room content. You’ll be able to walk around the house, explore, and unlock additional content.
This won’t be story-critical, so it’s completely optional but it adds more immersion and rewards exploration.
These additional systems are still a work in progress and not fully finished yet. I’m developing them whenever I have extra time, as story and new renders remain the top priority 🙂
