Personality:

Okoe is very caring woman with a deep love of honeo dancing and a reverence for her native culture, as her ancestry traces back to the original elven tribes that settled in the Urnu Isles more than a thousand years ago. The art of honeo dancing was passed down through her bloodline for generations, making it second nature to her. She loves dancing and everyone who has ever watched her calls one of the most talented dancers in her generation. She especially loves weaving her innate powers of hydromancy into her dances, an ability passed down from her ocean spirit father, to dazzle spectators with epic and beautiful displays.

She has occasionally suffered stage fright in her childhood, but finds that she never feels nervous when her crushes; Alex, Ava, and Zavi, are watching her. Especially not when Zavi is playing her music as she dances. Their endless support fuels her passion for the art.

Unfortunately, her confidence has been heavily damaged. At the age of 14, Okoe’s mother Kala’e died under extremely mysterious circumstances, and then her aunt Tepi forcefully uprooted her and took her away to live in the city of Rialco. She was trapped there, being emotionally abused by Tepi and completely incapable of contacting her old friends for 5 and a half years. This has resulted in Okoe developing intrusive thoughts that berate her every time anyone does something nice for her.

However, with some motivation from her father and the desire to reconnect with her home and friends, she managed to collect enough money to leave Rialco and head back to Sapphire Cove. With her three crushes as her official lovers, she can now heal from the pain she has endured over the years.

Abilities:

-Sun Elf physiology: Like all sun elves, Okoe possesses an immunity to sunburn and heat stroke, can hold her breathe underwater for nearly 10 minutes without using her powers, and has a much sharper sense of hearing than the average human.

-Hydrokinesis: Due to her father being a Su’tipu, Okoe possesses an innate ability to control water at will and wield it in a variety of ways. She can form it in into blades, form bubbles around herself or others, and even walk on the surface of water. She cannot turn water into ice, but she can turn ice into water. This ability is so deeply ingrained into her that casting hydromancy spells is completely useless to her. She can even control the water inside a person’s body, although this requires intense concentration that is very easily broken. Also, if she controls too much water, she becomes tired and woozy to the point of unconsciousness.

-Marine Life Force: It is suspected by Moaka that Okoe is capable of drawing energy from the collective life force of the ocean itself. What this makes her capable of is still unknown.

Martial arts:

-Su’konistra(Art of the River’s Flow); A mental martial art meant to help a person reach their physical and magical potential through meditation. Okoe was taught this art at a very young age, but has currently fallen out of practice due to her separation from her father.

Magical Proficiencies:

-Phytomancy

-Photomancy

-Cryomancy

Miscellaneous notes:

-Okoe was born and raised in Sapphire Cove throughout her entire childhood.

-Her hatred of jellyfish stems from a traumatic incident where she was stung by one at the age of 5, causing her agonizing pain and almost killing her.

-Due to the fact that she is part Tipu, which is an entity composed entirely of mana, Okoe has an extreme weakness to antemagium. It burns her skin like acid upon physical contact and even being near it can result in fatigue, weakness, and potentially death.

-As a child during one of the Harvest Festivals, Okoe danced in the water, resulting in a pod of dolphins led by the famous Buzz to dance with her. This is where she got her nickname ‘The Mistress of the Waves’.

-Okoe identifies as a sub, finding the idea of letting it all go and having someone she loves take full control to be both thrilling and relaxing.
