Hi! It's been a while since I last made a post here on SubscribeStar.
Since the previous post, I migrated the NekoSuki project to Unreal Engine 5.

I like Unreal so far! I'll be much more able to realize my vision for NekoSuki using Unreal's toolset and features. 🐱💖

Here are some screenshots of how the game's currently looking in Unreal.
These are the results of doing some Unreal Engine tutorials, but I plan to start making actual content and maps for NekoSuki soon. 😸

Hello, everyone! :3

These last few months, I've been mostly working freelance on another game project. I'm almost finishing an important milestone on that project.
But I also worked a bit on NekoSuki, some days ago. :)

I updated the NekoSuki project to Unity 2023.1. This alone made the game's visuals much better, thanks to RealToon URP 15 shader.

I'm aware Unity 2023.2 was recently released.
But I can't upgrade to 2023.2 yet, because the MicroVerse terrain tool doesn't work correctly on 2023.2, for now. (; - ;)

I also updated Platformer Project (the main gameplay framework), so my game can have the awesome custom gravity features from its latest version. :D

I did a major cleanup on NekoSuki's Unity project, I removed many unused assets and packages. This cut down my domain reload times by half. :D

I also updated the Hot Reload plug-in for Unity, it's very reliable now.
It helps a lot with the code iteration times!

Now, I'm pretty much ready to resume working seriously on NekoSuki.
I just need to finish some stuff on my freelance project first.

Hi, sorry for the lack of posts here on SubscribeStar.
Lately, I'm working on projects that aren't adult-oriented. That's the main reason I haven't posted for some time.

Anyway, since a few weeks ago, I'm having very productive development sessions of my indie game project. :D

Much good stuff happened during the last months, I got ahold of great tools to help development, and many of the tools I use had awesome updates! <3
I even contributed with bug fixes and integrations for some of those tools. xD
I also made some important tests with Unity and my tools, to simplify my workflow and make the game run as best as it can on both PC and Android.

I'm still working on my game's foundation before I start creating characters/levels/content, but I can already see the light at the end of the tunnel.
After the game's foundation is complete, that's when things will get very interesting... :)

I also changed focus to a new, (hopefully) smaller game project than NekoSuki. But I'll continue developing NekoSuki later on (the new project uses the same foundation/framework).
My new project is a Touhou Project fangame starring Cirno, the beloved tomboyish ice fairy. ⑨⑨⑨⑨⑨⑨⑨⑨⑨

I have to admit that my new project may not feature adult content, but I hope it'll still be an interesting game to post about in here, from time to time.
And I still plan to make 3D models of my (adult) characters and create some adult-oriented pictures with them.

Here's a little teaser of my new project. This is only a starter model, I'll heavily edit it later on, after I work a bit more on the game's foundation.
