Milkshake Cafe. Update 0.1 (Cappuccino)
Hi everyone!
Development is moving full steam ahead, and today we're excited to release a new version of Breast Milkshake Cafe in Early Access - 0.1 (Cappuccino)!
We decided to start a little tradition: naming every patch after a milk- or cream-based drink and sharing its recipe right in the patch notes. We figured it's a pretty fitting touch for our café!
For our first major version, we went with the most iconic classic of all - Cappuccino.
Cappuccino - a classic Italian coffee topped with steamed milk and rich, velvety foam.
Preparation: brew a shot of espresso into a pre-warmed wide cup. Steam cold milk until you get smooth, glossy microfoam (60-65 °C) and pour it into the coffee in a circular motion.
Story continuation: keep renovating the house and bring the full crew together under one roof.
The haughty elf Sora has joined the team.
The energetic athlete Noel has joined the team.
Added moving-in scenes for Lina and Sora, plus an introduction scene for Noel.
You can now clear out and do the first round of repairs in all of the girls' rooms.
New customers now visit the café.
Rewrote existing news broadcasts and added brand-new ones.
Milking scenes and gallery
Added Level 1 animated milking scenes for Sora and Noel.
Voiced the milking scenes for Sora and Noel.
Reworked the milking dialogue system: line packs now depend on how the girl feels about the process and evolve as the story progresses. Lines are triggered by specific moments: "Milking started", "More than half full", "Less than half full", "Emptied" and "Overmilking" (if you keep milking an empty breast).
Auto-milking now turns off automatically as soon as the girl's breasts are empty.
Added the Scene Gallery, where you can replay both regular story scenes and milking scenes with full gameplay mechanics.
Added a Cheat Panel that lets you unlock the entire gallery or give yourself cash during gameplay.
Localization and dialogue
Added translations into nine languages: English, Russian, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
Fixed language selection: if your system language isn't supported, the game now properly defaults to English.
Updated and rebaked all fonts to prevent broken or missing characters across all languages.
Improved text display across the UI: when a line is too long to fit, hovering over it (or holding on touchscreens) now shows a tooltip. Please let us know if you spot any text in your language that gets cut off without a tooltip!
Proofread all dialogues and checked scene staging across the board (who enters the scene, when, and with what expression).
Did another editing pass on the dialogues from the previous version to fix typos and rough spots.
UI, tutorial and audio
Added a tutorial system. Right now it only covers the very beginning with a couple of basic prompts, and we'll gradually expand it to cover every element of the game.
Each girl now has her own name color in dialogues.
You can now enter custom names for your save files.
Updated the workday music and added daytime café ambience.
Bug fixes and optimization
Upgraded the engine and asset packaging system (we now use Content Directories), which reduces build size and optimizes RAM usage.
Adjusted settings across all Live2D scenes so characters no longer disappear on certain devices.
Fixed Miku's missing ponytail in her Level 1 milking scene.
Fixed rare bugs where the HUD could get stuck when switching between evening and morning.
Fixed the pause when switching music at the end of a dialogue.
If everything goes smoothly, this version will stay in Early Access for the next week. Please let us know about any issues you run into, and enjoy the game!

Magic Academy. New Stable version
Hi everyone!
It’s been a week since the release of 0.8.3. Many bugs have been fixed, which means it’s time to release a new stable version for our Magister tier subscribers!
I’d also like to remind you that starting today, only Magister tier and above will have access to the builds. Access to older versions will no longer be changed.
Instead, we will now be publishing and supporting a Demo version. It covers the beginning of the game and features 22 quests and 13 scenes, including the Ice Elf world. (~10% of game content)
All mechanics updates introduced in future patches will also be applied to the Demo version. However, all new content will be exclusive to the full version, and the content in the Demo will remain capped exactly where it is right now.
The Demo supports seamless progression into the full game - meaning you just need to download the full version and load your save file, and the rest of the content will become available instantly.
Now, let's move on to Hotfix 0.8.3.1, which we are rolling out alongside this fresh release. It includes the following changes:
Audio and voiceover for Journey is almost complete. All combat VFX have been tuned and updated, and nearly all mobs have received their own attack and damage sounds.
Fixed a crash in the Demo version that occurred when entering the tavern after completing all Demo quests.
Fixed a crash in the subsequent battle if a player managed to select a card while the last enemy's death animation was still playing.
Fixed an issue where cards could still be played after all enemies were dead and the battle had ended.
Fixed stuck/lingering damage numbers that could remain on screen between battles.
Fixed over 160 localization lines.
Fixed a visual bug where the hero appeared with three arms in one of the dialogues.
Fixed unexpected loading pauses/delays during a couple of Tom's dialogues and the first dialogue with Victoria.
Thank you all for your continued support! We are eagerly looking forward to hearing your ideas about what else you'd like to see in the game before the grand finale of the story.
