Update 0.4.5 (Obliviate) and 0.4.3.5 (Nox)



Hey everyone! Time for a fresh update!

We're happy to finally be back to our normal routine and resume working on our project.
However, due to a chaotic past month, today's update will be a little unusual.

For our "Student" tier subscribers, version 0.4.3.5 (Nox) is becoming available today. It includes all the Journey mode fixes made for the 0.4.5 (Obliviate) version:
  • Card Discard: Discard unwanted cards to gain 1 mana.
  • Card Draw: Draw additional cards for 2 mana.
  • Deck Builder: A new feature allowing you to create custom decks from your unlocked cards.
  • Post-Adventure Unlock: Unlock one card encountered during an adventure for use in the Deck Builder.
  • UI Overhaul: Reworked the adventure preparation screen and the equipment selection panel.
  • Equipment Rework: Each piece of equipment now contains fewer cards but provides a unique effect that can modify your stats or game mechanics.
  • Recipe Drops: Equipment recipe items can now drop during battles.
  • Recipe Tracking: Once you find a recipe, information about it will appear in the equipment selection panel.
  • Crafting: After finding a recipe, you can craft the corresponding item and use it in future adventures.
  • Card Elements: Each card now has its own 'element'. Your equipment can affect the efficiency of different elements.
  • Combat UI Widget: A special widget has been added to the combat interface to display effects from equipped items.
  • Censor Option: A 'Censor' option has been added to the settings: enabling it will skip all 18+ scenes. (Skipped scenes can be viewed later in the Pensieve).

Also included are some minor fixes:
  • Now, in the character window, any influence you have on their personality is displayed as '+' to avoid confusion. You are simply tipping the scales of their personality one way or the other.
  • Fixed an issue with animation selection in the Elf Monk scene.
  • Fixed a bug that broke the save panel if you had a very old save file.
  • Fixed several errors in dialogue attribution pointed out by players.
  • Fixed the non-functional help button in the adventure window.
  • Fixed the ability to open the in-game menu during combat.

For our "Magister" tier subscribers, version 0.4.5 (Obliviate) is available starting today. It includes all the fixes described above, plus new content:
  • Continuation of the cultist storyline.
  • New enemy: Vampire Bard.
  • New victory scene.
  • A quest for Elizabeth.
  • A quest for the Draconic character.

Starting next week, we'll begin working on the romance arcs for our characters. Additionally, we've finally started tackling the overhaul of the game's user interface.

About Update 0.4.5 (Obliviate)

Hello everyone!
The endless crunch at work is finally over, and we've been able to fully return to working on our game!
For now, this version doesn't include new quests or scenes. We're working on those in parallel, but we wanted to get these mechanics changes out for testing as soon as possible.

Here's what's new in today's release:

Hotfix 0.4.3.3 (Nox) and 0.4.0.6 (Episkey)


Hello everyone! Today we’re releasing two simultaneous hotfixes—for both the public and premium versions of the game.

The changes are identical for both and address various issues reported by players:
  • Fixed a bug where battle music could continue playing after exiting combat.
  • Fixed a bug preventing Adventure rewards (including Magic Crystals) from being granted upon exiting an Adventure.
  • Corrected author credits for dialogue lines in various conversations.
  • Fixed numerous typos in the Russian localization, courtesy of user CorSan.
  • Added an icon for Venena Minor.
  • Fixed several localized lines that accidentally included narrative notes.
  • Removed a duplicated phrase in the dialogue about the "annoying song."
  • Removed the legacy input system and resolved an issue causing the Space and Esc keys to malfunction.

Hotfix 0.4.3.2 (Nox)


Hello everyone! Today we are releasing a small hotfix, version 0.4.3.2.
  • The latest update is now available in all supported languages.
  • The logic for playing game music has been changed.
  • Battles in Journey mode now play battle music.
  • Fixed an issue where the volume of spell sounds from Journey mode did not depend on the slider in the settings.
  • Added a Mac build.

About Update 0.4.3 (Nox)


Hello everyone! Today we're releasing version 0.4.3 (Nox) – a major milestone in the development of our storyline!

This update includes:
  • Two New Characters: Meet the nuns from the city temple!
  • New Quests: Enjoy new quests for existing characters.
  • New Scenes: Experience both narrative and NSFW scenes featuring the new nuns.
  • Expanded Journey Scene: The ice elf scene in Journey mode has been expanded with a short comic.
  • Journey Card VFX: All cards in the new Journey mode now have visual effects (VFX) when used.
  • Journey Enemy Action VFX: All enemy actions in Journey mode now have visual effects.
  • Journey Card Effect Fixes: Fixed effects for some Journey mode cards that could cause freezes.
  • Journey World Fixes: Fixed some Journey worlds to address an issue with insufficient portals.
  • Dialogue Attribution Fixes: Corrected the speaker attributions in some dialogues.
  • Elizabeth Quest Fix: Fixed a response in Elizabeth's quest that made it seem like your choice had no impact.
  • Barbarian Goblin Skip Fix: Fixed the skipping of the barbarian goblin scene – the entire scene is now skipped correctly.
  • "Fetch Resource" Quest Clarity: "Fetch resource" quests now specify to whom the resources should be delivered.

Update 0.4.0.5


Hello everyone! The update was released very recently, but today our animator finished their work on the goblin barbarian.
Therefore, we didn't delay and are releasing a quick and small update, 0.4.0.5:
  • New Animated Scene: Added a fully animated scene featuring the goblin barbarian (in addition to the existing mini-comic).
  • Unique Card Backs: Gameplay cards now have unique backs depending on their rarity.
  • Boss Difficulty Adjustments:
    • Reduced the difficulty of the Ice Elf boss fight.
    • Reduced the difficulty of the Wolf-Paladin boss fight.
    • Reduced the difficulty of the Cat-Rogue boss fight.
  • Bug Fixes:
    • Fixed an issue where the exit portal might not appear in the Cat-Rogue's world.
    • Fixed an issue where the boss might not appear in the Wolf-Paladin's world.
