Magic Academy. Release 0.6.1.1 (Fulgari)



Hello everyone! Over the past week, we’ve made additional changes to the latest update, and today marks a version shift!
Here is what’s new in version 0.6.1.1 compared to 0.6.0:
In Version 0.6.1:
  • The quest chain with the Attestation Commission continues — you will have to solve the problem with the cultists if you want to get accredited!
  • A new CG scene as part of the fight against the cultists.
  • A couple of new enemies and battles, not just in Journey mode, but in regular gameplay as well.
  • A new boss: Aasimar Gunslinger, complete with a comic and a scene (animation is still in progress).
  • A new personal quest for the Dragoness.
  • Cleaned up old localization keys (about 600 lines) to prepare for translation into new languages.
  • Added a new location: Lecture Hall. You can now enter it, and it will be utilized in future updates.
  • Added additional states for the dungeon location beneath the Cathedral.
  • Events on "crystal" tiles in Journey mode now always yield a crystal.
  • Fixed a rare bug that could cause the game to freeze when using Fast-Skip to skip text while transitioning to another location during a dialogue.
  • Fixed the display of route tiles in Louisa’s map mini-game.
  • Added a tutorial for Rose’s flask mini-game.
  • Now, the input fields for naming the Hero/Academy/Dragoness will have a default value filled in immediately. This avoids situations where typing is impossible, which blocks the game.

In Version 0.6.1.1:
  • Added the ability to name save files.
  • Updated battle backgrounds in Journey mode (Forest and Winter).
  • Added a new tile type, "Mushroom Forest," on the Pixie World Journey map.
  • Added a new battle background in Journey mode (Mushroom Forest).
  • Animation adjustments in the scene with Lillian.
  • Animation adjustments in the scene with Joyce.
  • Fixed the "Arcane Knowledge" card healing the player instead of dealing damage when a damage-reducing debuff is active.
  • Fixed the opening of the second page of the Memory Pool.
  • Fixed Victoria’s photos in the Memory Pool.
  • Fixed the night version (frame) of the Lecture Hall.
  • Fixed the night version (frame) of the Warehouse.
  • Fixed the text on the final button in the scene with the Head Nun.

From this moment on, we are shifting our focus to active work on the next update. It will be dedicated to updating and adding new backgrounds and enemies to Journey mode, as well as adding voice acting to our animated CG scenes!

About Update 0.6.1 (Fulgari)

Today, the alpha version of Update 0.6.1 (Fulgari) goes live in Early Access.
If no critical issues are found, we will release it for the Magister tier in a week.
So, what’s included in this version?

Hello everyone! Today, version 0.6.0.1 receives translations for all supported languages and becomes available for Magister tier supporters!

Changes to the Release Schedule:
Starting now, there are changes to how we publish versions. The Public version will now lag behind the Full version by two months (previously it was one month). We are making this change to make your support even more meaningful.

Plans for the next patch:
We plan to continue the following storylines:
  • The Cultists;
  • The mysterious vampire Scarlett, who is trying to save her friend;
  • The Inspector from the Ministry.

In parallel, we are continuing to prepare content for the characters' personal conflicts and have already started creating art for their finales.

Alpha Update Update 0.6 (Aberto)



Hey everyone!
Today we are releasing the alpha version of Update 0.6 (Aberto). For the next week, it will be available exclusively to subscribers of the Professor tier and above.
This update includes:
  • A new comic for the Succubus boss scene.
  • Continuation of the main story featuring two new animated characters.
  • A new CG scene with one of the new characters (currently static, but it will be animated by the full release).
  • New personal conflict quests for characters.
  • Rearranged on-screen buttons for the magic mini-game to make the layout more intuitive.
  • Added character expressions to some older dialogues (around two hundred changes).

Free Update 0.5.8 and 0.5.9 for Magisters


Hi everyone!
Our schedules got a little mixed up, so this release is rolling out a bit differently.
On top of that, versions 0.5.9 and 0.5.8 both got a small update – a new version widget! Now the game can check for updates and show you the patch notes right away.
Plus, both versions are now fully translated into all supported languages.

Magic Academy. Update 0.5.9 (Avifors)


Hello everyone!

Today, version 0.5.9 (Avifors) is entering its beta phase and is now available for the Professor tier and above.
If all goes well, the update will be released to the Magister tier in about a week.

Changes in this update:
  • Updated the CG scene loading system to reduce RAM usage.
  • Added platform and current version to the error logs, so our programmer won't have to ask for this information in bug reports.
  • Fixed a button texture that was stretching incorrectly.
  • The order of portals in Journey has been changed to match the order they are unlocked.
  • Added a new mini-game: "Runes".
  • Added a new location: "Rose's House". She can now be found there in the evenings.
  • Added the option to turn down Lilian in all of her intimate scenes.
  • Added a new boss for Journey: the Summoner Succubus, along with a new CG scene for her.
  • Added a new mob: the Imp.
  • Characters in combat now position themselves to be more evenly distributed across the battlefield. They will reposition when a unit is summoned or defeated.
  • Almost every location now has its own unique musical theme.
  • Added 5 new quests, including a quest for the new boss and the first NSFW scene for Rose's romance path.
  • Added a tutorial for the "Wires" mini-game.
