Hello all!

With the release day now set for the 15th of May the percentages are fairly irrelevant now, however I have now passed the 4,000 render mark for v.0.13.

With the scenes still planned I'm expecting v.0.13 therefore to be approximately 5,000 renders long, meaning v.0.13 will be roughly double the size of the entire of Shadows over Manston, and roughly three times the size of the previous biggest update for Defending Lydia Collier!

Hey Guys!

Just an update on how it is all going so far!

I'm still working on v.0.12 and the bug fix, I'm changing tons of the back-end code for the bug fix to do things better and "properly" after getting lots of advice rather than my Youtube Tutorial/Prayer previous method, so that will be out when I can get it all working properly or may just be part of v.0.12. It should hopefully fix the anomalies like have to refresh the computer to get your current images as well as just the current bugs, but it still isn't all working atm so just give me some time on that.

So far I've just about finished up Vanessa and Steph's content, and then just have Ellie's evening to do in terms of renders, so I'm about 60% done. v.0.12 will therefore be out somewhen in October but I'll put a date when I'm about 95% done.

Hi Guys,

Hope you all enjoyed v.0.11, I'll be making a final update this weekend!

Some feedback from the polls!

I'll be getting business fibre broadband, but I'll be keeping the Mega.nz/GDrive split for downloads. However, I'll be updating the GDrive link from time to time of the latest release. This should prevent people sharing the GDrive link to pirate sites, and then genuine users getting the user limit hit. If you do ever get the "Limit Exceeded" message on the link, send me a DM and I'll update the link and replace the current one with a new one.

I'll be making a plain text walkthrough and a fancy one to go with the Collector's Edition, but this fancy one won't come out until the physical copy of the game does so I'll have plenty of time to work on it, whereas the plain one will come out shortly after v.1.0 comes out digitally. As previously mentioned, I won't personally be making any walkthroughs until v.1.0.

I'll continue releasing the updates as a full day, and won't split them.

I will be making a web version of the game, as it looks fairly easy to do, but it will be very low priority. This will only appear when I am at the point where I have absolutely no other work to be done but sit and wait for renders to be completed (all bug fixes, script for next update, audio etc all sorted, so it won't happen for a while.

What's next?

Next will be the Defending Lydia Collier Audio Update. I've spent a lot of time learning and working with Audition, and have implemented a fair amount already. I've also commissioned quite a few completely unique pieces of audio, and adverts and sweepers for the radio, and I think so far it sounds really good. I've got ten days to quarantine when I return from holiday this weekend, and I'm hoping to get the audio sorted during that time, however this will primarily be down to when the third parties deliver the audio I've commissioned.

There will also be another Bug Fix this weekend when I'm back home. This should resolve the last major issues and also revert the Ren'Py version to the old one which v.0.11 part 1 and earlier were on. Updating the Ren'Py version was an unintended side effect of me downloading the latest version of Ren'Py on my laptop to work whilst on holiday, and wasn't intended. Sorry to anybody that wasn't able to play this update as a result.

Hi Guys!

Just a quick update on how it is going.

Currently, I've completed just over 600 renders for v.0.11 and I'm about halfway done, meaning whilst I said this was going to be a much "smaller" update, it is going to end up probably as big as v.0.10 or if not, be the game's second-biggest update

I plan to have this out before the end of the month.

What's coming in v.0.11:

Further expanding the team's screens, I realised I missed out on the leaders, so they all have new screens made.

The first of the important "missions" to resolve the game. You'll be using your newly selected team to investigate a leak from a high ranking official, catch the mole and you'll have a powerful figure owing you a favour in the final mission.

Whilst your team is off doing the work for you, you'll be finishing off the remaining project and spending a bit of time with your LI and depending on your choices, in the last day before the very LI focused weekend:

Steph's transformation can begin.

The Night before jetting off with Vanessa, Tiffany and friends.

Choose whether or not you want Ellie's sister working for you too.

After v.0.11:

Thanks to everybody who voted in the poll deciding what comes next.

Continuing Defending Lydia Collier won overwhelmingly (by more than 2 to 1) over a Shadows over Manston update in the votes, so after v.0.11 will be v.0.12 and v.0.13 (Friday and Saturday in the game) and then there will be another final poll of finishing DLC vs a break for SoM. Shadows will be finished either way once DLC is completed.

Thanks for all the new and continued support, and I'll post an exact release date when I'm down to the last 100 renders or so.
