0.4 is the first half this update, the second half will be labeled as 0.4.5.  The reason for doing this is that I could have pushed the update back so it would have come out ~6 months after the last update. I decided against doing that just because of how I work. I'm the kind of person that if I don't commit to getting something out by some rough deadline I will either never get it out because I keep wanting to add more or I get distracted with something else.

I know it has been a while since the last sex scene. That is largely because I don't want to try and stuff them in, especially when it comes to one between main characters, and because these updates tend be kinda short I don't necessarily get as much story and character development/progression with each update as I would like. The reason for that is two fold. The first part is the same reason for why I am getting this update out now rather then waiting for 0.4.5. The second part is that the time it would take for me to render the scenes for such a large update is not practical with my current hardware. If I manage to get my hand on an Nvidia GPU it would significantly decrease how long it takes to render each frame, also would make it more practical to start including animations.

Hello everyone, finally after a combination of being too busy to work on the game and computer issues 0.4.5 of Andromeda is finally being released.

Starting with this release I plan to include an Android release, assuming it doesn't become to much of a pain to manage. I have not tested it to ensure that it works or that it works well.

Edit (7/13/2022): I fixed some bugs that I found while working on 0.5 and have uploaded the corrected files. However I forgot to remove the content for 0.5 from these updated releases, but I don't want to re-upload the files again after removing the accidentally included new content and do the links yet again so it is included in this release, oops. That content is far from completed, with only about 70 lines of code and a few images that aren't quite final. So long as you don't modify any of the files you shouldn't run into this content but I still wanted to provide a heads up.

Hello everyone, this first part of 0.5 is finally out. I don't really have much to say this time. This update, as previously mentioned, is focused on filling out the background of the main cast. With this update, and part 2 in hopefully just a few months, we will soon be leaving Terran Space and start running into the wide open unknown. When that happens we will of course start running into aliens more often, and get some of the usual Sci-Fi shenanigans.

No Android release provided by me this time, I am having some issues with Ren'pys built in tool for building the Android apk file.
