The limbs of the characters are not positioned correctly or the body parts don't move properly.

This is a problem that I was not aware of recently since I can't reproduce this. The solution to this is to reset the character's 'FK & IK' Pose

Whenever I start making a scene, I first use Studio Animations to make a initial pose of my characters. And I frequently use KPlug animations, which you can find in Animations> AL F/M, sonyu/houshi. That mod use to be problematic because whenever it updates, you have to re-assign that animation. But that should be fixed according to the author. The new update though which I don't freaking understand seems to caused problems on scenes that uses that animation mod. continue reading

Dissapearing Facial Expression Issue

You need: ShalltyUtils

This happens when you swap a character with different head mod. You can fix it by changing your character's head mod to match the one in the scene, but that is too tedious and might cause your character to look different. The method below is how to do it in studio without any need to change the head mod.

Note: You can actually do this without ShalltyUtils. By using the "Single Files". There are Load and Save there's which will affect all interpolables of the character. I just never used that so I didn't know about it before making this.

Summary: You can easily fix this by saving the keyframes for facial expression, then loading it after you change the character. continue reading

Regarding images

I'm using pixhost.to/ so if you can't see anything, it's either the site is down or it's blocked in your ISP.

Why don't you just upload images it here?

Because it will be treated as a file attachment and I won't be able to intergrate it to my post with right formatting.

What should I do if it's blocked?

Use VPN or Cloudflare WARP

ShalltyUtils 1.2 Update

Whether you're a scene creator or just a casual user, it's highly recommended now to get the latest version of ShalltyUtils.

There's a lot of new features, but the most important one for everyone is GuideObjectPicker which basically allows adding transform nodes for any objects and folders (See the first image below)

These nodes will allow you to adjust characters on my scenes, without going inside the folders!

These will only be available on the next scenes. If you want to do it in my other scenes, it easy enough to do for a few seconds.

New Character Adjustments with ShalltyUtils 1.2

The video below shows how ShalltyUtils' Guide Object works.

Key Notes:

  • Guide Objects can be found inside the KKPE button
  • You can hide the nodes using the diamond button near the page names (Female 1, Male 1,etc...)
  • The KKPE controls works with the new nodes
  • Use ALT + Middle Mouse Button to navigate the page, to see all the parts
  • CTRL + Left Click to select multiple parts.
  • When the nodes from GuideObjects are visible, moving the camera with ALT + Left Click won't work, instead you'll be able to select multiple nodes...
  • To fix the issue above, just hide the nodes by pressing Q or clicking the diamond icon on page name.
  • Finally, these guide objects are linked from the *ADJUST folders, so adjusting the latter will still work.

Quick Shader Swapping and My Settings

You need: ShaderManagementTool by Haruka. If you're using Koikatsu Sunshine, get this version instead. KKS_ShaderManagementTool

My scenes are built around KKUTS Shader. So unless you want to change everything aside from the characters/animation, then I recommend to use KKUTS. That said, it is surely tedious to change shader everytime. But with the help of "ShaderManagementTool", you'll at most spend only a minute or less per characters. SMT is a bit buggy. Although the main functions works fine, so it's still very helpful. continue reading
