Work is in full swing! We're on the home stretch for update 47, and right now, the team is arguably at its busiest. The final weeks are always the most intense—details pop up, overlooked little things emerge, and our heads are crammed with to-do lists. But it's moments like these that produce something vibrant and real - and that's why we love this stage.
Organizing the animation workflow has been a real challenge. With over 120 scenes in the project, planning the animation pipeline is a whole separate ordeal. Prioritizing, figuring out which scenes need refinement, which can be delegated, and which should be put on hold—all of this requires constant coordination.
We're building a system that allows us to stay flexible without losing momentum. It's not easy, but the first results are already inspiring—the scenes are coming to life right before our eyes.
Meanwhile, we’ve started work on the script for update 48. It's in the rough planning stage, and right now, we're facing a crucial choice: should the story lean toward victory or defeat? Both paths are interesting, both full of drama and consequences. We need to decide what we want this update to say, what emotion to embed in its finale. The debates are raging!
While recruiting NSFW artists, we found someone who didn’t just fit the portfolio—they inspired us. Thanks to their vision and energy, we’ve revived "Camelot", a project that had been shelved for a long time. It’s another example of how fresh talent can breathe new life into old ideas.
For the next few days, our sole focus is polishing update 47 for release. All hands are on deck: refining, testing, tweaking, and tweaking again. We want the final result to truly delight you.
Thanks for sticking with us—it only gets more exciting from here. 💜
We found an animator and have already started working together - new animations are waiting for you in the next update! Let's move forward.
They are finishing their first piece for the game now - it turned out really cool! There is room for growth, and that's good to see. We will share some of their art soon!
This is an important stage - so now all the key elements (art, script) are in place. We've already started the final stage: converting it to code, with tests and polishing ahead.
Some scenes from the 47th update will get new names - more precise and atmospheric. We want everything to sound vivid and convey the essence of the moment.
Something new is coming up. This will be our first such experience for us, and it sounds crazy interesting. More details to come very soon 😉
A week of change and growth
This has been a really busy week: we're undergoing a major reorganization of the team - we're deepening processes, expanding tools, and adjusting internal mechanisms to make it easier for creativity to flourish.
🎬 We finished the art for the new scene - we just need to finish the variations and it will be ready for teasers. It turned out vivid and very atmospheric - we'll show it shortly!
🎧 We started developing our own tool for game music. It will give us more freedom in working with sounds and ambience, getting rid of routine and chaos in audio files.
📝 The “Chance: Choice” scene, an important emotional episode, was written and thoroughly checked. We've been working on it for a long time, and now it is finally coming out the way we wanted it to: deep and challenging.
Next week we will continue to work on our internal systems. This means more clarity, clear guidelines and a shared vector. Right now, as a team leader, I am paying a lot of attention to the master document: I want everyone in the team to understand exactly who we are, where we are going, and why we are making this game.
It's important to note: we are not “fixing in a hurry” - we are growing and maturing. And that means everything is just getting started.
