Public changelog of No escape: Game edition! (V0.33.1)


Heya folks, down below is the public changelog of V0.33.1! ^^

ADDITIONS:

- Added 416 new images to the game!

Aislinne’s playground:
-Added Aislinne's playground into the game! This serving as the “serving” route of her boss encounter as Aislinne has little need for servants, or at least ones that retain (most of) their mental faculties! Instead she drops Kathleen into her “playground” to amuse herself, asking from Kathleen that she “only” plays three small games with her in return... And with “asking”; I mean kind of asking one can’t say NO to. >;3
*Added the maze area for the above playground! This first game Aislinne will play with Kathleen is “maze running”, which requires Kathleen to run through a multi-map maze...while dodging several perils along the way!
**Added the hanging pod trap for the maze area! Danger from above; careful about any dark spots on the floor!
**Added the floating orbs trap for the maze area! Patrolling the place on a preset path; best not to bump into one!
**Added the rubber swap trap for the maze area! Big basins filled with liquid rubber, Kathleen best traverse these quickly...before she sinks away too far and becomes stuck!
**Added the slamming wall trap for the maze area! Slamming together like clockwork, Kathleen best run through them quickly. Lest she ends up as a rubber pancake!
**Added the doppel-suit trap for the maze area! With the exit of the room on the other side and this suit following Kathleen’s moves to the beat, it’s up to her to find out a way to get rid of it... Without coming too close, that is!
**Added a “corruption” event inside the maze area! Found right at the end of the area, Kathleen can opt to have some fun with another (un)fortunate contestant of Aislinne’s gauntlet. Might cost her (some) morality point(s) though!
*Added the worm den area for the above playground! The second game Aislinne plays with Kathleen is good old fashioned hide-and-seek, though she’ll leave the “seeking” up to her OMEGA WORMS roaming the second area in her playground!
**Added the ranger intro events to the above area! Looks like Kathleen’s not the only one who’s running through the place, as she meets a friendly face along the way. Unfortunately though, it seems that friendly face isn’t a very silent one though...causing the both of them quite the heap of trouble!
**Added a mini-failstate to the worm den area! Somewhere in between a very large trap and small bad end, it’s a peril that shows what happens to Kathleen if the omega worms get their grubby tentacles on her... revolves all around broodmothers, transformation, body modification and being stuck in squeaky pods. Plus a SMIDGEN of (soft!) vore! (Comes in both con and not-so-con flavors; the former obtainable by WILLINGLY stepping into an OPEN pod; which also counts as the place its “corruption” event!)
*Added the “tagging” area for the above playground! Consisting mostly of long corridors filled with grabby tentacles, it’s through here where Kathleen will play a game of tag with none other than the tentacled boss herself... Aislinne! Best stay out of her clutches; else it will be a quick (and squeaky) end for Kathleen as she’s turned into one of Aislinne’s “suck mooks”!
**Added a corruption (moral dilemma) event for the “tagging” area! Your classic “switch the tracks of the train” kind of dilemma, Kathleen will have to chose between helping another contestant in a tight situation... Though this will place herself into one!
- Added the Torment toy fail-state for the playground area! You can get this one by “angering” Aislinne; which happens once you lose all of your lives inside her playground! Revolves all around inflatable bondage sacks, entombment (in space/the void) and a giant Aislinne to smugly help Kathleen get into it! (The not-so-con bad end of this boss.)
- Added the kitty Kat fail-state for the playground area! You can get this one by getting all “corruption” events (or at least one and then accepting Aislinne’s offer at the end of the playground). Revolves all around bitchsuits, dronfication (into a drone kitty), petplay and body modification/transformation! (The con bad end of this boss.)
 - Added the following spritework provided by the every wonderful Tonkatsu: Omega worm sprites!
- Added the following self-made spritework: Worm pod sprites, doppel-suit sprites, floating statue sprites, fuck puppet sprites, wall-slam vacbed sprites, hovering orb sprites, drop-down pod sprites, “contestant suit” sprites and probably a few more I’ve currently forgotten about (plus some misc. stuff).

BUGFIXES:

- Typo corrections (as always lmao).
- The skill “reckless attack” apparently could be used on the 2D map; to no effect (other than draining attack point). Has been locked to in-battle only (like all other attack skills).
- Fixed a bug @thornvine: Kathleen could still spider crawl onto the transport pipes strewn about the place; leading out of bounds. Should be fixed now!
- Fixed a bug @Salon sweeties: During the 3rd task and with breast size at max, there was one npc that caused an infinite if serviced last (the dark-skinned patron). Was due to a mis set variable; is fixed now!
- Fixed a bug @Thornvine: If the player has input the safe combination of the first safe, it also showed up at the second one; is fixed.
- Removed the not-so-con tag from the “got any milk” fail-state (milk cow bad end @fantasy rpg VR-world).

QUALITY OF LIFE:

- Kathleen can now revisit Aislinne after either her boss battle or playground visit! Mainly a chance to chat a bit more with the tentacled lady, and fumble into one of her bad ends after the fact...
- Added a new piece of “merchandise” to admire at the brothel of the fantasy VR-world! Displayed in a fancy display cabinet in the entry hall, it’s available for Kathleen’s (and half the town’s) viewing pleasure; after her encounter with the Countess @castle.
- (Slightly) updated the yellow golem sprites @desert VR-world; gave the suckers just a tad bit more shine.

SYSTEM CHANGES:

- Add the following plugin(s) to the game: YEP_MoveRouteCore.js, Arisu_SynchEventMove.js, PathfindingFix.js

Public changelog of No escape: Game edition! (V0.30.1)


V0.30.1

ADDITIONS:
- Added 545+ new images to the game!
- Added a magical blocking ward in the woodlands! A huge wall of holy magic which blocks Kathleen’’ way forward, it looks like she’ll need a very specific tome to bypass it... which (potentially) leads her to the Convent of the Ebon Rose!
- Added the Convent of the Ebon Rose to the fantasy RPG VR-world! The exterior had been added back in V0.28.1 but Kathleen can now enter (and interact) the holy order’s walls... and even (temporary(?)) join up to take care of a pesky little problem (or two)! It can be found to the east of the castle town.

Convent of the Ebon Rose

- Added the initiate side-quest! Once Kathleen enters the convent the Abbess Superior (portrayed by the lovely Lu!) is quick to inform Kathleen that quite a pesky little creature has attached itself to her psyche... and that only the convent can help Kathleen to get rid of it! It will take some “training” for Kathleen to actually learn how to deal with it though, which leads into Kathleen becoming enrolled within the convent’s order for a few days (or more)!
- Added the initiate induction scene: A short scene which sees Kathleen accepting to become an initiate and dressed up the convent’s holy vestments... comes in the standard con and not-so-con flavors!
- Added three “training” events for Kathleen as an initiate: Penitence duty, which sees Kathleen strapped down in an iron maiden and having to recite a hymn... while her holes are free for any and all passerby to use. Cleaning duty, which sees her cleaning up the convent’s main hall and the totally-not-suspicious statues lining it... And a silent prayer reading, in which all that Kathleen has to do is remain silent... while she’s strapped down on a buzzing sybian!
- Added a (large) “sleeping/night” scene for the above side-quest: It sees Kathleen strapped down in a comfortable sleeping sack for the night, and a certain someone coming over to torment her... Comes in three variants depending on how much of Kathleen’s psyche has been compromised!
- Added a (semi) playable fail-state which triggers if Kathleen hits her “max” during the initiate quest! During Kathleen’s time as an initiate she’ll have to keep her lust in check, else consequences will happen... which sees her taking the backseat in her own body while something else takes the wheel!
- Added an escape branch for the convent! Think the place is way to suspicious and Kathleen should get out of there? After the third training event she can mess with the leather belts that hold her down during the night, leading into the escape branch!
- Added a roaming enemy to the above escape branch; the convent’s “night custodians”! Comes with an introduction scene which shows exactly what lies in store for Kat if she gets caught... So best avoid those bouncy bimbo golems if you want Kat’s adventure to continue!
- Added a fail-state for the above-mentioned enemy! Which sees Kathleen becoming a nice piece of artwork... if a bit of a stiff one! 


- Added the following spritework generously provided by Lerra22: Penitent maiden sprites, shield statue sprites and sybian sprites.
- Added the following spritework generously provided by Tonkatsu: Initiate sprites, night custodian sprites.
- Added the following self-made spritework: Abess Superior sprites and a bunch of minor sprite adjustments (leather belts, cum buckets etc.)

QUALITY OF LIFE:
- Don’t feel like going through the convent’s story-line and got pockets full of gold? Well good news because Iris seems to have a copy of the magical book Kathleen needs to get bast the wood’s barrier too... It will cost Kathleen an arm and a leg though, those tomes are expensive after all! >;3

BUGFIXES:
- Typo correctionsssss
- Fixed a bug in the recall rooms; a mess up in the switch for the Sweetie doll playable fail-state had it still run on a (now redundant) switch, giving issues when unlocking it.

Public changelog of No escape: Game edition! (V0.29.5)


Heya folks, down below is the public changelog of V0.29.5! ^^

V0.29.5

ADDITIONS:
- Added 234 new images to the game!
- Added a new trap to the desert VR-world: The rubber sarcophagus! You can find it on the pyramid’s second floor (the crypts where the yellow golems roam). Comes with an epilogue that has variants to take into account if Rose’s still around (or not).
- Extended the security drone fail-state with a (small) playable segment + extra scene! It sees a dronified Kat stomping around through the factory’s corridors and taking care of any would-be intruder; acting exactly as a well programmed security drone would do... >;3
- Added a new NPC to the cybercity VR-world: The loan shark Jules! He (and his arm candy called Jewel) can be found in the shortcut alleyway that connects the bridge and main street areas. Eager to provide a loan to Kathleen, he seems like a nice enough guy... Though I’d be careful around him!
- Added the cyber hooker fail-state! It can be obtained by getting a loan from Jules, then trying to “skip town” by leaving through cybercity’s portal. Seeing Kathleen as “defaulting” on her loan, Jules instead makes her pay it back in a different way... After giving her some upgrades!
- Added a new epilogue aboard the prisonship! It will fire in-game after Kathleen has triggered the Thornvine VR-world; showing the twins dealing with Kathleen in a more “sure-fire” way after pining all the trouble aboard the prisonship on her...
- added the following self-made sprite-work: Rubber sarcophagus sprites, Jules sprite, Jewel sprite.

BUGFIXES:
- Fished out a true metric shitton of typo’s; especially ones from Thornvine, the fantasy RPG world and trap epilogues. Another shoutout to DeviantRPGStuff for the very extensive (and thorough) reports! ^^
- Fixed a small bug in the Maid-in-training dorm’s utility closet: Kathleen can now no longer climb on the ironing table there. 
- Removed the “n-con” tag from the ending of the con’s version in Violet’s pony fail-state.
- Fixed a few non-properly working transfer point in the desert and cybercity VR-worlds.

QUALITY OF LIFE:
- Playable fail-states have now been added (in their entirety) to the recall rooms as well! Please note that entering them from the recall rooms won’t clear Kathleen inventory (since it would be a pain to get all the stuff back in there after clearing the event), though this is but a minor fluff issue. Furthermore, you will also need to run through the playable bad end in its ENTIRETY to get back in the recall rooms; please keep that in mind before hopping in! 
- Unusable items no longer show up during battle, making navigating the item menu in-battle easier! (Shout to T.Bot for adjusting the ItemRequirement plugin to do this.)
- The visibility of message/dialogue boxes during scenes can now be toggled with the SHIFT key! If pressed it will hide the message box, allowing you to view the full image without it being obstructed by text. Can be toggled simply by pressing SHIFT; as a fail-safe the text-box will also automatically pop back up if the action key is pressed. Choice boxes are still never hidden.
- Level cap has upped from 6 to 9! And there have also been two new skills added for Kat to learn; the “reckless attack” which is a guaranteed hit (at the cost of some HP), and triple attack (which does exactly what it advertises). 
- Added Fara’s meeting with Goddess to the recall rooms! (Also it turns out there were like 3 images of it I never implemented? Only a short bit towards the end; but implemented nonetheless!)
- Added Lysi’s trap and defeat scene (in which you defeat her that is) to the recall rooms!
- Added Rose’s trap and defeat scene (in which you defeat her that is) to the recall rooms!
- Gave some of the exterior maps @cybercity a slight touch-up.
- Grass parts of the castle town’s map transitions now transfer the player as well. 
- Replaced the (decrepit) separate-event spike code for the spike traps in the second level of the pyramid with parallel processing based code. Should make for cleaner debugging and slight performance improvement.

CONTINUITY ERRORS:
- Fixed a continuity error in the desert VR-world: If Kathleen used the maid boots to cross the spikes in the pyramid, then finished Rose’s side quest and afterwards goes to serve Goddess for three days. Consequentially Rose can’t be at her tent anymore; which caused Kathleen to talk to a “phantom” Rose. Is fixed now.
- If Kathleen now revisits the desert VR-world after Thornvine, a small segment will play in which Kathleen notes that not a whole lot has changed; confirming that the events from the Thornvine VR-world haven’t affected the base desert simulation. 
- Fixed a small continuity error in the introduction of the slave maid fail-state: If Kathleen enters it from the serving route Violet will no longer make mention of knowing that it was Kathleen who was the “explorer” from the desert.

SYSTEM CHANGES:
- Replaced YEP_X_ItemRequirements.js with a new one coded by T.Bot; see quality of life point 2!
- Added a new plugin: MessageHide.js

Public changelog of No escape: Game edition! (V0.29.1)


Heya peeps, down below is the public changelog of V0.29.1! ^^

V0.29.1

ADDITIONS:
- Added ~395 new images to the game! 
- Added the woodlands and deep woods, the first “dungeon” areas of the new fantasy RPG VR-world!
- Added the first “common” enemy to the new fantasy VR-world, the farmhands!  You can find these raven haired ladies patrolling the woodlands to the west of the castle town. 
- Added to farmhand escape sequence! Having been blinded by the farmhand through an tight fitting enclosure hood, Kathleen must touch (and smell) her way to freedom. (Also comes with a small variant scene if Kathleen gets caught 3 times in a row.)
- Added the hucow fail-state! You can find it by not escaping the above sequence; and it sees Kathleen being added to the herd of “cows” locked in the farmhand’s barns!
- Added a trap to the deep woods; the “cherry bulbs”! You can find these in the deep woods area; mindful of any weird dark spots lest you be snagged up by one!
 - Added the first mini-boss to the new fantasy VR-world; the rubber pixie! A mischievous (and malevolent) girl, she’ll force Kathleen to play one of two “games” with her...
*One of these “games” she’ll ask Kathleen to play is “tag” (her mini-boss fight): Which has a special intro the associated fail-state if Kathleen loses to her second super attack (amber spewer).
*The other of the “Pixie says”: Basically a kinky version of simon says. Also comes with a separate intro (scene) into the associated fail-state!
*Or Kathleen can just be a horny slut, and step into her doom willingly: If she enters the plant willingly a special path will open up that can unlock a soft-vore scene for Kathleen during the associated fail-state... It will only play if she REALLY asks for it though. >;3
- Added the rubber flower fail-state! Found by losing to the rubber pixie (one way or another), this fail-state sees Kathleen becoming a pretty flower... And source of “food” for the pixie! (Bit of soft-vore in this one; though not with Kathleen herself (unless specifically unlocked during the above branch)).
- Added the following sprite-work generously provided by Tonkatsu: Rubber flower pod sprites!
- Added the following sprite-work generously provided by Fimotro: Base rubber pixie sprites (slight adjustments made by Scriptor), farmhand sprites.
- Added self-made spritework: Ranging from the cherry trap, plant-vines, “magic fruit” plants and some more (misc.) stuff.

BUGFIXES:
-Typo correctionsssssss
- Fixed a bug in which Jack wouldn’t respond anymore to the “status of the escape plan?” prompt when progressing far enough into the game.
- Fixed a bug in which if Kathleen gets the master key on the serving route first, shows this to Eleanor and then afterwards finds (and shows) the bolt cutters to her as well, the dialogue would proceed as if Kathleen has just showed Eleanor the master key for the first time.

QUALITY OF LIFE:
- Added interaction sparks above the statues in the adventures guild; to make it clear that those statues in the side room also have some fluff on them (mainly about what became of her party members).
- Added some new sfx and bgm for the new events: Ranging from cow moo’s to new music tracks for the new areas.
- Added a new item: Plant-be-gone! A “special” usable item like the disposable blade, rubber dissolver etc. it function is to get rid of plant-based obstacles and restraints. You can find it in Iris’ shop!

Public changelog of No escape: Game edition! (V0.28.1)


Heya folks, attached is the public changelog of V0.28.1! :3

V0.28.1

ADDITIONS:
- Added 235 new images to the game!
- Added a new story scene aboard the prisonship! The twins finally arriving at the coms hub and answering the call from their boss… 
- Added (small) epilogues/extensions to the various “key drop” traps found in-game! Instead of hooking into another fail-state these traps now have their very own, (hopefully) making them more enjoyable and distinct. The traps to which epilogues/extensions have been added are: The Mannequin Maker, Toyball, Hypno goggles (shoutout to Lu for portraying Lysi again!) (factory traps), and the plant pod, Violet statue, rubber book traps (Thornvine traps).
- Added the first part of the third “big” VR-world: Flexilis Kingdom! 
- Added the hub area of the new VR-world with several new NPCs:
*A warlock called Iris Lalune, with her magic shop of curiosities! Quite a bit of new content to be found here in this update; see the sub-header below! 
*A very cheerful *cough* doctor who can be found in his little apothecary!
*The guild master Thomulim Thunderfist, a battle scarred dwarf who acts as this VR-world’s quest (and general direction) giver!
- Added the exterior of the Covenant of the Ebon Rose! It can be found to the east of the castle town and has some… Interesting nuns waiting outside, eager to see Kathleen join their sisterhood! (Mainly a tease of what’s to come; covenant itself will be implemented in V0.30.1!)

Iris Lalune’s magic shop:
- Added Iris Lalune and her magical shop into the new VR-world! Besides selling a few (dubious) support items for Kat to use, she also offers her an “easy” job with getting some supplies from her basement! Problem is that the place’s covered in warding runes though, best to avoid those or else…
- Added Iris Lalune’s capture scene and escape mini-game! You’ll get into this one by bumping into one of her magical ward runes down in the basement. Revolving around miniaturization and all perils around that, it’s up to Kathleen to either trust Iris or find a way out of this mess on her own…
*Added a trap along the above escape route; a vacbed mousetrap!
*Added a special variation on the capture scene if Kathleen gets caught three times in a row; featuring a chest filled with living rubber!
- Added a fail-state for the above capture scene! Revolving heavily around miniaturization and objectification, Kathleen will be giving an in-depth look as to how those weirdly shaped dildos inside Iris her store are made… >;3
- Added the following spritework (generously) made by Fimito: Fully dressed mannequin maker sprite, Iris (warlock) sprites, vacbed mouse-trap sprites, Sister of the Ebon Rose sprites.
- Added the following self-made spritework: Mini-Kat sprites, Kat jar sprites, Street thug toy-ball sprite, boxed fuck toy sprite, “coatrack” sprite and some minor misc. stuff like adjustments to Thomulim and the town guard sprites.

BUGFIXES:
- T y p o c o r r e c t i o n s (another metric shit-ton this time around; shoutout especially to DeviantRPGStuff for helping me find ‘em!) 

QUALITY OF LIFE:
- Replaced the Rose maid outfit in the desert and the Salon sweetie uniform (in the front) with new (way more fitting) spritework! Another big shoutout to Fimito for making these! ^^
- Restructured the traps in the recall rooms; making them feature the full experience instead of only the sprites/images: Got feedback from people that they would also like to see the text with these sprites, but I reckoned that going the extra mile and recreating the “full experience” there would be even more welcome. As such the entire experience can now also be found in the recall rooms; down the maps/locales used at the trap’s location.
- Since (most) traps are now their own little fail-states, they will be henceforth unlocked on individual basis like the big fail-states: Just like with the “big” fail-states you will need to see the scene once in-game before it’s unlocked in the recall rooms!
- Added new BGMs for Flexilis Kingdom, making the place sound like an medieval RPG adventure as well! ;3

SYSTEM CHANGES:
- Removed the following plugins: JKL_PeristentData.js
-Added the following plugins: DK_Globals.js
- Replaced the previous (faulty) persistent data plugin with a new one, which hopefully will do what it’s supposed to do: Which is saving the persistent data (like unlocked fail-states and scenes in the recall rooms) and unlocking options accordingly. The previous one did a good job at this for the most part, but for some inexplicable reason refused to save switch data from time to time. The new plugin doesn’t seem to have this issue, so going forward we’ll be using this one instead. Fingers crossed. 
!!! AS SUCH, OLD PERSISTENT DATA IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH VERSION V0.28.1 AND ABOVE. !!! (However a fully unlocked save is provided with this release to mitigate the annoyance caused by this; the file is called globals.rpgsave)

Public changelog of No escape: Game edition! (V0.27.1)


Heya people, attached is the public changelog of V0.27.1! ^^

V0.27.1

ADDITIONS:
- Added ~255 new images to the game!
- Added the serving route to Thornvine Estate! Now all those who rather talk (and scheme) their way out of situation have their own path to follow as well. You can start it by choosing to hold your tongue about Rose during Thornvine’s intro portion, which sees violet turning Kathleen into a “maid-in-training” until she manages to escape! ^^
- Added the first serving task for the above route, which sees Kathleen washing “ponies”! A little mini-game which mostly revolves around Kathleen taking care of Violet’s prized fillies. Careful about handling the fierce ones though, they have a tendency to bolt!
- Added the second serving task to the route, which sees Kathleen giving Primrose a nice massage! Three body-spots to focus on with the goal of giving Primrose a “happy ending”, be sure not to get into her lien of fire though since that can have permanent consequences (read: a fail-state)!
- Added the third serving task to the route, which sees Kathleen being Violet’s personal attendant! Tasked with doing all sorts of menial tasks for her, Kathleen get a full day of doing “normal” maid stuff for once… Though it retains it’s shiny and kinky edge during these events (of course). >;3
- Added the escape event to the serving route! Once Kathleen has found all the things required to escape she can initiate the plan together with Eleanor, seeing the two sneak out of the Estate in the middle of the night. Careful about those roaming Slave maids though! ;0
- Added the cumtank fail-state! Not dodging Primrose’s cum shot will lead into this short bad end, with the main focus of it being exactly as advertised (sex mostly).
- Added the pony fail-state! You can get this one by maxxing Violet’s opinion of you as a maid-in-training, revolves around pony-play (duh) and mind control!
- Added the following self-made spritework: Maid-in-training sprites, pony sprites and some minor misc. stuff.

BUGFIXES:
- Typo corrections (obligatory mention)
- Fixed an issue introduced with the upscaling of the fonts in 0.26.1: Certain letters like “Y” got their bottom partly cut off in the choice/nametag windows. After looking around the answer laid in YEP_COREEngine;  adjusting the line height value allows the font to be displayed correctly again.
- Fixed a small bug in the entrance hall of Thornvine estate: If you saved the game and reloaded during the introduction scene several slave maids would spawn out of nowhere, which should have remained hidden until the cutscene later on that map. It’s fixed now. ^^
