On a nice sunny day, there's little better than finding shade under a tree and enjoying a big picnic with friends! Plenty of food for everyone, big and small; even if it's mostly the big ones doing all of the eating~

Lighting for outdoor scenes is a tricky thing, but something I'm happy to continue to learn ^^ And a picnic scene has been on my wishlist for a while! Super fitting for Nancy's first scene, and a lovely excuse to bring Momoe back out for something again too.

New character time again! This time a bit of a nostalgia exercise for me, a new character based on an old concept from when I was first discovering some of these themes. So say hello to Nancy! ^^

A paeran of a half-elf variety and a sweetheart inside and out, the only thing Nancy likes more than food is friends. But really, why choose? Nancy absolutely loves to combine the two, her tastier friends frequently finding themselves being asked if they wouldn’t mind just… letting her shrink and eat them, assuming she hasn’t already come to the conclusion that those particular friends don’t even need her to ask.

Nancy’s gentler nature shows through in how she likes to try and be considerate of those humans she so very much likes to eat; while like most paerans she struggles to grasp exactly why most humans seem unwilling to accept the fact that they’re edible and delicious, Nancy at least (usually) makes an attempt to understand and be more gentle about the subject. They still are food, but she doesn’t mind if they sometimes want to set conditions or make requests of their own first, better yet if they’re just willing to become friends and voluntarily indulge that big appetite of hers every so often…
