hi everyone ! so i got mixed up this week, & i apologize ! at some point throughout the week, i went to see what the poll piece i was supposed to do was, & looked at the most recent poll instead of the poll for the appropriate week ;; basically, instead of the atlyss piece we were supposed to do, i did the pquen piece instead

i'll be making an atlyss piece this week, though ! we did play through new grove & trial of stars, both were just a good time. idk why people were saying the mystic was like, super nerfed somehow, i got through grove with like level 18 unenchanted gear fine. && trial of stars was just a pleasant time too, i like platforming challenges like that, kinda hope to see more in the future :> again though, i apologize for not having atlyss stuff yet, i'll cook something up this week

that all aside, we are sort of capping off our experiments with hard brushes for now. it's nice, but doesn't really fit our workflow much. basically, as soon as we do it, we kind of don't have a nice way of getting into overpainting. the way that the soft, layered look of our overpainting interacts with the harder edges doesn't really fit. it is something that we'd like to figure out more, for sure, but there's also other studies we want to dedicate more attention to for now. still was a fun time, though !

hi hi! a much better week for art stuffs ! there's a few studies we have been focusing on, & it's lead to a lot of passion around art things. we have also been playing around with hard brushes a bunch, which has been pleasant & has given some of our piece's lighting a really nice look

yippee the new moon ! hope everyone had a nice month, & hope your week went well. i'm really happy with the work that we did this week ! some of our most proud pieces as of late. i'm hoping to chill out a bit next week, maybe buckle down on drafting & figure drawing.

In one swift motion, a hole was painlessly punched through my ear by the machine. A chunk of ptalic flesh, gone. My friend laugh, & I tried following suit. But it struck me as odd, how disposable this body was. How vulnerable it was, in a world of so-called deathlessness.

hi hi all ! the website inches closer this week. a lot of manual work to do left, but we're getting there ! currently, all art that has been associated with the project is within the gallery. there's also going to be a more central & easy spot to check out any writings we do for the project, anyone else's work, whatever!

was a really fun week ! we started off with some proportion & ratio studies, which helped things a lot. really does seem like the answer to "its so over" is just like... doing some minor studies, sometimes. was really fun to redeem myself after how icky i felt about last week's i/o drawings; it feels like one of the best ways i've ever drew her here !

i am a bit peeved about being tricked by yellow underpaintings, they always seem to just mess me up lol.

i digress, i'm thinking about starting a tumblr or something ! still exploring options, but i'd like to be able to do some more writing in an easily accessible place ! while FA does have writing, i'm not really a fan of how it looks in the gallery lol. i'd like to have a website up sooner or later, but it does require time & care put into designing it, time i don't really have easily available. hopefully i get it done soon !
