Looks like I can release the game near the end of November. All that remains is some playtesting and bug-fixing and adding complementary things like additional hotspots and dialogs.
I've recently switched departments at the factory/plant I work at, so I'm not as fast as I could be on the game development side of things. Still, progress is pretty good overall.
I've uploaded version v1.01 of Demon's Soulbound. Here's what's new:
Save Slot selection -- there are 3 available slots now, they can be selected in the inventory window between the Save and Load buttons (let me know if you need even more slots)
Hints when collecting wood/branches and you still need more
Hints about talking to Arakk after using the knife on the roots in the sewers
Restored 2 previously unavailable optional sequences (they needed some edits)
About the save slots: The save from version 1.00 works fine with the new slot update. Save slots get tagged with a save date & time. You'll have to save once after the update to see the time stamp in the inventory menu.
The updated game is available in the same folder as the original release.
Demon's Soulbound, a gay/bara point'n click adventure for adults will be available in a few weeks. The game will have both a free and a donation version.
Ability to support your Creator by pledging – one-time or recurring.
Means to reaching out to the Creator directly via Instant Messenger.
