September Progress Report
It's the last day of September and just in time to report this month's progress! I'm very happy with the restoration of the characters and systems come together in this build. I'd like to pick up where I left off from last month's report by discussing the new enemies for this build and more about the Berserker's subjugation.
Enemies and The Berserker
So Besides the Berserker himself, The Wall Duress and a few other enemies will be added to this build, focuses primarily on expanding the Demon roster since their faction was relatively scarce by the time I reworked the combat system.
The Demons will be receiving 3 new members to their faction, one of which, The Misfortune, is a Mini-Boss level enemy for their group, roughly a level below roaming bosses in terms of power, without faction modifiers. Elite enemies are the same class as the Goblin Praetorians you may have fought in the previous build already. The Creeper, while a "common" level enemy like the normal demons, he will be equipped with a high severity grab like the Dithonion, Berserker and Wall Duress.
I've also added a new QTE interaction to High severity grabs and breaking out of the Bound state that I'll get into a bit later.
Next I'd like to talk a bit about the Berserker's subjugation event.
Berserker Subjugation
I unfortunately don't have many visuals to share just yet his Subjugation will be a bit different and potentially tougher then others by default.
When you're subjugated and enslaved by the Berserker, you'll have to navigate his lair without the use of weapons or magic. The Berserker possesses a fragment of divine power called the Precedance that allows him to collar the girls and "store" their power elsewhere.
You will have to explore his domain while interacting with npcs, avoiding both the Berserker and traps in an attempt to access and break his fragment of power so you can restore your ability to fight.
His domain is cat and mouse in essence and there will be means to both hide from and avoid him until you can puzzle out how to free yourself. It also won't be possible to physically free his other captives until his authority is interrupted.
Just like other subjugation zones, you'll have the option of raiding his domain with your powers intact, although defeat will mean an instant subjugation and a very happy Berserker.
New characters and other updates
Treu, Grace and Dr.Midday have had all of their base combat animations completed, leaving the sex animations and CG updates!
Besides the girls, I also spent some time thinking about the CG arts that occurred in the previous combat system like the Dithonion's High Severity grab. Most enemies used the generic battle hud CGs for the girls but the Dithonion and Goblin Warden were exceptions I was really happy with and I was considering methods to carry over the use of CGs into the new combat system. I finally landed on the updated QTE system. These will occur in certain instances. The first is escaping a bound status. Currently the bound status requires the playuer to use the 'Struggle' command with a chance to escape by RNG.
I've instead added a CG that layers over the battle and prompts the player to repeatedly press the interact button to escape, with difficulty depending on your character's current health and the exact nature of the scene.
This has been applied to high Severity grabs as well. In the previous version there weren't any means of avoiding high severity grabs besides having a high evasion or using Brigit's Flame Lord form. Unlike finishers they also don't require you to be in the pressured state, which could result in instant-defeats without any struggle or means of mechanical interaction.
Now they will prompt a QTE just like escaping the bound state that requires filling the bar before the time limit expires, being more difficult the lower your health.
There'll also be a new item that can be expended to skip QTEs, I'll likely have these sold by Dialen as well.
Lastly for the up coming quests, Dr.Midday's and Grace's. Both can be started from the Nexus which will be the case for most of the quests.
Some smaller quests and unmarked interactions will also end up either in faction strongholds or certain floors.
Now that about covers this month's progress report. By the next report I expect it won't be much longer until this build is ready to share! I'm going to begin testing Grace soon so I'll be sharing smaller progress posts in the discord on her scenes and stuff with the Berserker and new enemies.
Thank you again everyone for your patience and support everyone. Reading your feedback and knowing you're looking forward to the next build has honestly been a massive motivator for me, so thank you! And I apologize it's been such a long wait since Samara's build was released.
We're nearing the finish line, I can just smell it. And, you weren't kidding about the additional content we're getting for final push to content restoration. Once again, you are shaping up this game with new surprises each report you post. I cannot wait for the build to drop and progress into the rest of the game. HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I think the idea with the QTEs is good, I'm not a huge fan of purely random outcomes but I also prefer when the outcome isn't always predictable. One thing I really don't like about QTEs in H games usually is how incredibly easy they are. It can be annoying when QTEs are impossible, but I feel I need to intentionally lose if they're too easy, which always makes me question why I'm bothering to play. A difficulty selector for QTEs would be really good imo, people who don't like QTEs or have dexterity issues can have them slow and forgiving, whereas others can make them very hard to pass

so many new characters being added. Wouldn't it be better to get base stuff down for the first group, then add more later? Then again, I'm mostly looking forward to subjugation situations.
