The past week has been an adjustment, getting back into the swing of things takes some getting used to.
I’m bitches!
I feel very ashamed that I haven’t posted anything since the 26th of June, and for that I’m truly sorry. Some of you might be aware of Discord but I caught COVID for the second time in June and that had me bed bound for a week and a half but took several more weeks to fully recover. Once I returned to work, I was so exhausted I could even keep my eye open past 6 pm and often found myself waking up in the early hours having fallen asleep on the sofa or my PC desk! I slowly got back to Normal but had my friend from the US come over and stay with me for a week while he volunteered at a local equestrian center for work experience. After he returned to the good old US of A I went away on my summer holiday with the kids for 10 days. Since then, I have been pottering on and didn’t truly get deep into things until this week.
I have created several new girls that have been planned since the inception of the game. I have also reached out to several Game Devs to see if they would create a female android to be included in the game. 13 Games created a beautiful goth-looking gynoid, I think she’s one of my favorite models to look at so I’m really going to enjoy lewding her up for you all. Nine of Swords (Mythos) and Out of Ashes (3D Artist) has kindly accepted the challenge, so we should see something from them soon :D.
Gynoids?
So, you may be wondering why am I asking other devs to create characters for my game. Well, If you read my earlier posts Zero Seven has 6 other sisters and one of these sisters will become Nate’s (MC) personal assistant. Originally, I had envisaged a competition-like event but the further I got through the development of PoD I realized this approach would seriously slow down the development of Chapter 2, which I don’t want to do. So I decided instead of adding to my workload I’d ‘pass the buck to others and I am thankful my fellow devs are soo nice!
Once I have all six sisters, I will need to go back to screen 1 and replace the generic Genesis 8 models with the freshly minted sisters. I’ll then have around 4 days of rendering time to wait as I have a 900-frame animation to redo which shows the sisters in the pods. There will also be some tweaks to the rooms and pods themselves so I think this whole process will probably take a full week to complete once.
Well, that’s it for this week, I should be getting to my more detailed blogs as I get deeper and deeper into completing Chapter 1. I already have a bunch of coding ideas and changes I want to implement so look forward to hearing about all my woes when it comes to me doing that haha.
