All of the comic's budget went into drawing the hat.

During the hat scene, I decided it was be entertaining if I added extra hats instead of just Pom-Pom's. One of the hats, which belongs to the Yu-Gi-Oh card [Madolche Mewfeuille], led me down a bit of a rabbit hole as I was trying to figure out how the hat should look. I'll be honest, I didn't fully realize the theming of the Madolche card series before this. Anyway, the hat looks more like food than I thought it originally did. The other hat is Daji's from Fullbokko Heroes.

Originally, I was going to end the sequence at the end of the transformation, but it felt wrong to not actually make him wear the hat, so I adjusted the sequence to have the post-TF bit. Then afterwards as I was trying to figure out a good excuse as to why he was wearing the full outfit, I figured maybe someone else is with him to make him wear the outfit, so the sequence ended up having another character involved. In the end, he remained naked regardless.

The "results" section at the end was originally more tame, but as I was trying to think of a good way to symbolize different categories, it morphed into a Sonic Adventure 2 reference due to stray thoughts invading my head at the time. It was most definitely not the random Knuckles music playing at the time.

May | Poll #2 - Lilligant Post-TF Sequence

There is a lack of Focus Lines in this comic, so as compensation, I increased the spiral count. Originally the background was hand drawn spirals, but I wanted to increase the density of them and eventually figured making a brush for future use would be good to have. I ended up needing to draw the crown at several different angles, and I was unsure how to make it look alright.

I also originally intended for the final frame to be a bit different, but as I was adjusting the panel where the character is trying to "walk", I gave them a stick to act as a bit of a walking cane to further emphasize their attempts of struggling to figure out movement. Afterward, I decided they should use it as a weapon. The rough of the original intended frame is still in the source file.

The entire comic is based off an image I saw elsewhere a while ago (The Beautifly attacking the flower of Lilligant; Page 9), much like the Mismagius sequence was sort of based on another image I saw. I wanted more of that situation but in the context of TF so it kept it in the back of my mind until I saw an opportunity to draw it.

Fairy Tail Rella Sequence

The results of the poll from before (Blue + Book and Suit). I haven't drawn a suit TF before, and I opted to go the more rubbery variant. I also don't know anything about Yu-Gi-Oh besides some of the monsters, so I went with a simple situation.

The source file will also be included in the zip later this month. I don't usually delete the sketch / trashed layers, so if that's interesting to see, then by all means download it (future tense at the time of writing). I'll now begin work on the 2nd sequence.
