Animation Challenge DAY 3 (Complete) (Vid below)

When confronted with tall scary women, do what they say.
We are done, thank you guys for the support along the way. I love doing these challenges when I can and this time I think went even smoother than before.
ALL CHALLENGES HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE FOLDERS. IT WILL BE UNDER THE FOLDER "ANIMATION CHALLENGE" WITH THE ANIMATIONS FROM THE FIRST SET I DID MONTHS AGO. (You can just download below as well for same quality video for all tiers)

**Tech Notes**
This was my most chill one and I sort of intentionally did that because I knew I had the least amount of time due to a mix or IRL responsibilities. I still like how it came out. I actually had the idea for the 2 foreground girls but wasn't sure if I should bother. Now that I look at the final product I think it was a no brainer that it was worth it personally. I feel it would be quite basic and the animation would give a different energy. 
Animating the two foreground girls actually was pretty quick. I used noise on the hips and a bit on the upper body to have some random movement and then animated some quick manual swaying. It looks kinda of cartoony and unrealistic how much they move but I think it's fine. I personally don't like going for superrealism often anyway.

Animation Challenge DAY 2

Home invasion is not cool 😠.
Day 2 went pretty well. This was much longer but I feel I was efficient with my time and got good results from what I did try to do.
Will add to folder later. Download below for all tiers same quality.
**Tech Notes**
I got through this rather nicely. It was pretty long but I was efficient and didn't have to backtrack much. Really this one just came together well because I had to also do something new and breezed through it. I thought should I do a green screen and then add footage in post. Personally that would have been more work so I looked to see what I could do within the animation.
Basically Blender will let you add a video straight into the animation with a little bit of 1-2 steps. After I added it, I had to do a shader set up so that I switched between the videos keyframing them. I would have never been able to do this if I hadn't learned more about texturing and nodes within the last month. This way I used one plane/panel rather than switching between multiple making it look more seamless. I also managed to correctly have the TV blend a mixture of static and the Sadako film footage causing the effect to look like a mix of the two.
Man I gotta say, the autokeying style of animation is quite nice. I used it for allottt in this animation and I don't see myself stopping soon. I didn't have time to put too much detail into face expressions so I did the basics and let the camera skip the rest. I wasn't 100% happy with the body motions of Sadako and the skin deformations but it was good enough in the end I think. Originally I didn't have the idea to have the TV pushed against the ground as if things got really rough but I thought of that mid way through and like the idea rather than the TV just being upright and proper.

Animation Challenge DAY 1

 Jinkies. Velma might want to come more prepared for paranormal activities next time.
Day 1 wasn't so bad. I decided to sort of mirror last challenge and work with 3 characters this time around. I'm pretty sure I'll do a fem version and possibly some other alts since they will be easy to do once I get time to

**Tech Notes**
I went through quite a bit of quick learning so learn how to make the models transparent. Funny enough I didn't really use it in the final product. Either the ghost are there or they aren't which could have just been done by rendering the video twice but it helped for a quick render I suppose. I had to focus logically on how it would look with and without the ghost to make sure the video made sense. Not gonna say much else. Personally if I had more time, the video would be longer with more going on but that's the point of a challenge.
I lied, one more comment. I messed with the shaders quite alot to get the ghost models to look interesting and overall I love the final look of them. They sort of look like goo. If you are curious this is actually the model for Riven from League of Legends. Maybe some of you are familiar with the hairstyle.

Animation Challenge #3

The challenge is officially done for me. It was nice and cool to participate in. I'm ready to take a quick break but I'll likely start messing with stuff again as early as day after tomorrow maybe tomorrow IDK.
I will be putting up the monthly Cashew vote tomorrow

Animation Challenge #2

VIDEO BELOW 
Another day down. Tried to be a bit ambitious with this one. Personally, I'm on the disappointed side but I'm not stressing. It's a challenge and I tried some stuff I don't often excel at doing fast. I'll learn and move on. 
**Tech Notes**

So, I was trying to go for more of a story in this one and had some ambition here. I fell short but I think what I had in mind was possible but I just ran into some issues and didn't have as much time in the day due to actual work and IRL stuff. Still a decent amount of time but not as much as day 1.

Animation
It's been a while since I've animated motion that wasn't sex and it's different. I think I need to work some more on it. I often find that I like animating in general but the parts before the sex are just a tad less exciting (truly just a tad). What this means is I feel less likely to spend time on it versus the actual sex, so often when I go the animation I got back and correct it, and then again, and then again, and I eventually stop. The main sex is like this as well but I have more of a drive to make that part better. This isn't a big deal just wanted to share.


Other
Lighting was done super quick since I was pressed for time and just wanted to finish. Really everything was sort of half done just because of time but it's a little event so it's no big deal. I think Chloe's movement on the closeup looks a little off but didn't have time to correct it. I really want to go back to softbody physics soon. I just think it's really useful at time rather than just moving bones.
