Time for our first news update for the month! I'd like to first say, sorry for the silence leading up to this. I try to keep people informed on what we're doing, but often I have to repeat myself when I answer questions, etc. So, I try to hold off until I can put it together in posts like these to reference back to easier.

Let's not waste any time! Most of you are wondering about the content for this month, right?

Well, our programmer who recently joined and officially started January 2-3rd has been hard at work on fixing up a lot of stuff for us with our next release! I know it's taken a bit longer than expected on this next one for new content.. Mainly it's because we've been trying to fix a lot of bugs/issues and tidy up some coding stuff that was missing with recent content already released.

We've streamlined our process on how we handle playtesting and it's much better than how we were doing things before! Much quicker, less headache and in general.. Its a better setup than what we had before.

Okay, so when can we expect the next release?

I want to say early this upcoming week! (January 15-17th) But it could be upwards to January 18-19th. Please keep in mind, this is a estimate because our programmer has proven to be pretty quick with tackling things so far, but they're also all about providing quality with their work and how it visually appears when you play the game too.

What I mean by that is, less bug/issues and rushing a subpar experience just to get it out the door. We are being mindful of our time and schedules, don't worry! Its best to provide new content in a timely manner that is very close or spot on with what the finished product is meant to be than miss the mark, later fixing things up that players have experienced already.

Not to ramble on, in simple terms.. Below is our estimated schedule and the releases could still be ready sooner. In the case they are ready sooner than later, we'll get them out right away!

(One thing to also keep in mind, the amount of content not released yet is part of episode 5. Which is our largest episode expected with the project. Currently with what's released for supporters right now, the episode is exactly the same size as previous episodes in word count. This is not including that the rest of the content not released yet is adding another 15,000-18,000 word count on top. Episode 5 is over 30,000 word count in size as a finished episode.)

This is the bare minimum costs that covers our team's active development on a monthly basis! This is roughly what we had coming in from Patreon each month to cover the costs for our artists, programmer, editor, writing, etc. Much of it goes right into the art! If we can reach this goal, it'd mean we can easily without any worry continue our active development on the game project that's been on-going for 4 years strong, with 2 years expected that remains in development before it's finished.

At this goal being reached, each month... We could seriously begin our voice acting campaign! We'd do a casting call with real voice actors using castingcall.club and encourage everyone to sign up, try out for the roles and begin the process of adding voice over work into MA from the start of the game slowly catching up to where the current build/releases are at that time forward. ^^
