NOVEMBER WRAP-UP
==== SALE ENDS ====
The Grateful Gluttony sale was a success! Two comms and three new paid subscribers, especially with the help of my new
“Bad Ones” short-story series, which you may have seen from my
latest post about self-studying game dev, will be
turned into a series of kinetic novels using Ren’py.
==== COMMISSION TIER RAMP-DOWN====
My writing output was pretty high last month, but I’ve noticed recently that I just don’t have that same DAWG in me I had before. It could just be due to not really exercising much lately, but it might be the fact that I'd like to learn new skills, and I've just been dumping all my points into writing (see skill graph below lol.)
And so, I’ve considered ramping down my commission tiers for a little while.
It hurts to pass up on good money and great clients, and I'm very grateful for having that, but I think it would be best to take a short break and come back with renewed vigor, rather than do something like raise my prices just to keep myself on board.
I'm very sorry for anyone who was interested in commissioning. Hopefully it's just a short break, but in any case, the next announcement may also interest you.
==== ACOLTYE TIER BEEF-UP ====
The $10 Acolyte tier has a new perk added: Prompts.
- You’ll now be able to add a prompt (either a theme, or title) to the Bad Ones poll, which will be voted on by the rest of the members. You’ll also have 2x the voting power in general as well.
==== WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO THIS MONTH ====
-
ON DECEMBER 18TH, THERE WILL BE A FREE BAD-ONES POLL. FOLLOWERS MAY VOTE ON WHICH STORY THEY WANT UNLOCKED FROM THE SERIES. THE WINNING STORY WILL BE PRESENT-ED ON DECEMBER 25TH 😁🎄
Members can look forward to more bad ones. I can commit to at least 3-4 stories per month. Actually, the next 3 updates have already been decided on with the previous poll. So just sit back, relax, and stay tuned for more.
==== SIGNING OFF WITH A POEM ====
Squirrels and pigeons, scramble and scavenge
accepting the aid of human hands.
Too close to the brink
of losing their instinct.
But taking risks is what separates a man.
