Our most ambitious comic to date, the Bare Backstreets Companion Comic can now be purchased in hard cover form over on our website! All 120 pages + 20 pinups, references and bonus pieces. We also restocked Double Trouble which sold out last year! Our next comic Lesson Learnt 2 will run a bit shorter at around 45 pages as is about half finished. That too, will hit the store once it's done!
Salutations Bare Backers! Birds a chirping, pools are opening and the sun is shining as we welcome the warmer months of spring! We just barely missed our April release for the spring cleaning update due to some last minute s*x minigame bugs (Currently enemies can catch you mid-air and teleport, that's not right!) but they are small enough we should have the update out in a week! In the mean time, I wanted to shed some light on our more lucrative reward tiers as we officially have our first $1000 pledger, LionBlueheart!

But why stop there? You've had a taste of animations and you are feeling bold enough to blurt out your favorite catchphrase and throw all the proverbial chips on the table. RIP Playable Character Tier
With Baxter officially confirmed as the 4th playable character, this sadly means our $23,750 madlad reward tier is no longer available. Sorry about that! Thankfully, dreams never die in the form of your very own enemy. Hopefully best boy Baxter makes up for it with his unique tooty-shooty, run n' gun playstyle inspired from the classics!
We are now hiring for full or part time programmers to speed up bug fixing and get updates back to a monthly schedule! Our programming lead is contemplating joining the military next month which will further reduce his availability to work on the game. As such, promotions to a full time position may be on the cards!

Applicants must have an intermediate skill level with Unity and be available to do working stream/calls every work day. Tasks are tracked via an online board and are updated across the day. Performance is evaluated by how many tasks (Varying in difficulty) can be completed in an average work day.

January saw us mostly smooth sailings in terms of development, however one of our weeks was cut short as both myself and lead artist Kabscorner came down with severe food poisoning. This is the second time from two different locations that greek food hasn't been prepared properly and as such we're probably not going to have it again for a very long time to play it safe. We reported the location to the health department! It takes the crown as the worst food poisoning I've ever had, aching bones and a lot of unpleasant loss of water weight. Funny thing is, my symptoms started while visiting friends so we had to rush home mid-board game as I abruptly came down with a fever and almost went feint! Fortunately we made a full recovery and was able to attend the cinema for Jackass Forever a few days later.
BBS News While the next playable build is a bit slow on our release schedule, the art pipeline is cruising without delay. Our plan to to include as many new art assets as possible by the time the new build is ready to play! Jade's moveset should be finished this month and we can move on to editing her into all the sex scenes.
For the first time in over half a decade, we are finally back due to high demand for a limited run of art commissions! 12 pinups will be accepted this year (Once per month). Priority is given to lifetime pledges and you can pledge a custom amount to reduce waiting time. Only applies to active pledgers!
Those who may have missed the first news nugget last month, I'll be doing a little blog entry every few weeks on how the development is going and any fun news going on in the background! The bugfixing for the new Snoggler update is taking a bit longer than expected, however the art production will continue trucking along as per usual. If lucky, we may have a brand new Piranha Plant Hugging scene lined up for the end of November! If Snog continues to scuttle bugs around our build, we'll likely release the two together as one bigger patch.
Celebrating the roster progress of BBS!
Until now, a sketch of what the enemy roster -could- look like has been placed smack dab in the middle of our landing page. We are happy to say that we have met the quota for finished enemies in the game and will be focusing on giving all enemies 2 friendly gestures, allowing you to truly customize your experience by turning off certain kinks that you don't fancy while still making that enemy useful for discovering new animations. We'll also be thinking about adding boss characters to the game in the future like Mortred who lost the playable character vote. You may also see Amber in a later update who is the main antagonist of the game!
BBS Comic hits 50 pages!
We're now approached the end-game of our raunchy BBS Companion Comic! It's anticipated that this will be our longest comic to date, breaching over 80 pages to make it longer than Servants of the Serpent. The two playable characters currently available in the game Vergence and Genesis have both arrived on scene at the Amorous club and are about to clash head first into the causal events of the game. Who's responsible for all these crazy mutated and thirsty enemy characters?
We are also adjusting the later half of the story to give a cameo spotlight to the winning playable characters Jade and Baxter.
Fresh Ink!
Onto personal news! I'm recovering well from my sudden appendicitis surgery last month. Myself and my wife Kabs were booked in for a same day tattoo appointment a couple days ago. She decided to push hers back until after pregnancy to play it safe as there is a small chance of complications. Since I knew all I had to do was lay down and look pretty, I was totally good to get mine done!
There was no way we would have got them both finished anyway as we ended up starting later than expected, but it's coming along super well! After the first tattoo, I start feeling antsy if I don't get something done at least twice a year. My aim is to fill in my left shoulder/chest to just beneath the elbow with cool stuff, monochromatic (mostly blue tones) and leaving the other arm bare for asymmetry. However lets be real, by the time I'm out of space I may end up doing the other arm anyway.
The design is based on Wynter Wyvern with our own playful spin on it, encased in a tomb of ice and straddling Sven's large Claymore sword from Dota 2. I wanted to design something that represents the confrontation with the feminine dragon of chaos. Danger and Beauty are themes are love to play with creatively. If you have a tattoo or have been thinking about getting one, hit me up in DMs with your design!
New Husky Puppy!
I didn't bring these up last month to not make the post too long but we've made a lot of big steps in a relatively short time frame. We decided that we wanted to add a big dog to our family as at the time, we were starting to doubt we would have much luck starting a family after spending most of the year trying. Sure enough, shortly after we bought him we finally struck gold and tested positive for a baby on the way! Furry little blessing in disguise?
We've been taking the little rascal to puppy training every Thursday, and had our older male shiba professionally trained for a month at the same board and train so that the chaos of 3 dogs is manageable and stress free leading up to the baby. The board and train also allowed us to focus on training one dog at a time without them feeding off each other. Since we work from home, it's important they aren't getting into trouble, thankfully they are getting along really well now and are (mostly) well behaved!
Traded in for a family-sized SUV!
While our Mazda wasn't too old, it was too small for us to put a dog crate in or a baby seat + our dogs. It got dinged up pretty bad during our renting years as people scratched and backed into it in the public parking spaces.
Now that we have a proper garage (And home to boot), upgrading to a bigger, safer car eases a lot of our worries. Our insurance went down too! We will still likely need to buy a lot of things closer to due day, but for now the big stuff is out of the way. We are getting great advice and insight at to what to expect from our local friends, who just had their daughter last week.
