Thank you for sticking with me. This final public entry for chapter four marks the completion of the comic book recap, including events that haven't actually been release in the comic! This entry brings us closer to Hikari herself with a recap of her story line from the comic. Spend time with her on her peaceful home-world where the only things she needs to worry about are getting the vegetables her family farms to the town folks, how much fun it is to run through the meadow, and weather or not to let her boyfriend kiss her. Be with her as that peace is shattered by a Loci invation. Hikari and her parents must flee the swarm to hold out until help can arrive! Take her hand and save her before the Loci finish off what they started. Who is Hikari? What is this strange light she carries? Please enjoy! =^^=
This update finishes up the telling of the Main Characters time as a Guardia trainee w/ Midori. A story that begun in this context by being told from Tsuki's perspective now pivots to the main characters and a mystery narrator in parts. This was to be the big farewell to the guest characters from my friend Roman Humes original version of Dr. Amana Sexual Therapist for which he's still working on updating it with newer rendering techniques so please check out his discord! In any case, we'll hear about the fate of the many people the MC lost along the way... Please enjoy! =^^=

One Year?!
I just want to take a moment to thank you all and reflect on the last year. It was some time just before Thanksgiving 2024 that I actually decided to give this Ren'py thing a shot, perhaps 8 years late for the party, but still... showing up for the party. And I brought girls with me! ...sigh. Anyway, moving from fan artist, to failed comic artist to, well whatever this is now has been artistically rewarding in every sense. I enjoy diving into the world of Hikari weekly with all of you and every single time some one shows interest or even disdain for this world that used to exist only in my head, I'm thrilled. I was able to share it with you all and THAT is my most precious desire for this. To date, 70 of you have been generous enough to support Hikari in one way or another! You've all been much too kind to some one just starting out and I hope to continue to improve and provide excellent material for all of you. At no point have I been under the illusion that this will provide enough income to take the place of my real job, so keeping this %100 artistically driven will be easy. I've only missed two weekly updates in this year long experiment and I don't feel the push to get one out every week regardless of quality. I'm driven to get what's ready out weekly because I WANT to share it with all of you, for better or worse lol. So thank you all for your support, your time, your interest, your passion, and most importantly for being here! YOU are what have made Hikari happen. I most humbly Thank You.

So, where too next? That money plus a little extra... a lotta extra, but it's my hobby, have gone directly towards keeping the asset creators going. It's time to upgrade the resources. Hikari's been accused of looking like 5 year old technology. Well that's being kind. Currently the whole thing is being rendered on a pair of 1080ti's. While arguably the best graphics cards of all time, for their time, they are now 8 years old.
So I'm looking to set a $400 a month income benchmark that will go directly towards the hardware in addition to purchasing new assets to be used!

Looking at upgrading the hardware, perhaps to support AI for future projects. The current pair of machines being used for Hikari have been around for 8 years now and although have been upgraded, they are reaching the end of their serviceable lives.
These both originally cost $600 lol and came with GTX1050's. Not bad for the price. Since then they've both been upgraded with GTX 1080ti's (I love them), and 128GB of ram. But they are using 9 year old Ryzen 3's and pretty outdated motherboards.
A mediocre new PC w/ Ryzen 7 and a 5080 is running about 3k right now... god lord.... a Ryzen 9 w/ a 5090 is twice that?!
Ok so hopefully prices will be more affordable when we reach this goal!
