The Hikari First Interlude VN will release weekly developent updates. Hikari WAS just a comic, all are now public except the "Quickies".
All subscribers get access to subscriber ONLY renders, the quatity of which depends on the level of subscription, ranging from holiday specials, to behind the scenes renders, NSFW versions of renders, all the way up too full commisions!
All subscribers get access to the Hikari Discord where the art community shares their work and all the comics and images found here are co-hosted appropriately!

Visual Novel Downloads: - The Team Sasa ($5) will receive a download link once a month with the last general build seven weeks deferred. - The Team Hikari ($10) will receive a download link once a month with the last general build two weeks deferred. - A new tier "Team Rhea-ka ($25) with a subscriber limit of ~30 will receive a download link weekly with the latest (in development) build.

I hope everyones had a good week! I know the girls have! Having finished both sides of Chapter five, there are six possible outcomes. Three for Ayre, and three for Lala-fon (Hoshimi), anyway it ended, at a minimum ether will be coming back to your quarters with ether Sasa or Tsuki respectively. I wonder how Hikari will feel about having a new roommate?
Hard decision, no matter what Krish want's another round of that game from chapter two. You'll get the choice of one of two girls to send depending on which chapter you did, if you did it well! Sasa or Firth, or Tsuki or Kojia! No ones particularly excited about it, but who would be? Other than us of course. ^^
Following which, we get a check in w/ ol' Rojin who's been starting his own lil harem... ol bastards got the touch.
This weeks update contains a full four parallel sub paths so even though there is a normal amount of content this week, it will seem shorter if you just do one of them. They do all play out more or less the same for all the girls.
Continuing on, we had the option to choose one of up to four women to set on Krish. I'm gonna spoil it for ya right now, they might have something to say about it!
I'll break down the mechanics of what's going on. One, the testing override section at the beginning of the chapter remains on and has been expanded to let ya update Firth, Sasa, and Kojia's affinities since they matter in this update.
Depending on which girl was chosen, you'll see one of four animations. If Sasa's affinity is low, you'll see a different fifth one since she doesn't like ya enough to do the other one. That said this week is the players first shot at Sasayaki's virginity, assuming she likes you and hasn't lost it already!!!
Changes: - Fixed broken Gallery entry - Kojia affinity gate in last weeks content - New UI elements. - More Virginity/Prego triggers
Bug fixes: - Updated the way Ren'py is writting to the persistent. It will now cull out unneeded things like Audio, picture, and videos seen.

I'm updating the monthly goal to 1k per month... which... means this thing threatens to actually become truly legit. Something I'm not entirely prepared to accept.
Goal is the same, refresh the hardware. In the year between setting the $400 mark and now ram has gone from $150 to around $1000 for the same product. I was able to put one machine together before all that and am using it now but everything is still rendering on a trio of 1080ti's, nothing to sneeze at, but I'd like to do better. The chipsets are garbo, two 10 year old Ryzen 3's. Those need to get upgraded to Ryzen 7's like in the box we built last year.

Looking at upgrading the hardware, perhaps to support AI for future projects. The current pair of machines being used for Hikari have been around for 8 years now and although have been upgraded, they are reaching the end of their serviceable lives.
These both originally cost $600 lol and came with GTX1050's. Not bad for the price. Since then they've both been upgraded with GTX 1080ti's (I love them), and 128GB of ram. But they are using 9 year old Ryzen 3's and pretty outdated motherboards.
A mediocre new PC w/ Ryzen 7 and a 5080 is running about 3k right now... god lord.... a Ryzen 9 w/ a 5090 is twice that?!
Ok so hopefully prices will be more affordable when we reach this goal!
