D.Sim 0.2.5.a Changelog
Here is a first glimpse of the new version.
The file size is significantly higher since it contains a lot of content, which however isn't activated or accessible, since it still lacks polish and/or context.
The purpose of this version is mostly to test if everything holds together after all the optimizations and improvements made.
There are probably like 50 optimizations, improvements, and additions (I went into detail of some of the optimization in the last post).
I'm just going to list the most important factor here:

- Improved general performance of all character meshes
- Improved general performance of all architecture
- Improved lighting
- Improved skin/cloth/architectural shaders and used trick to minimize unity-shine
- Significantly reduced VRAM and RAM usage
- Visual improvements on LOD
- Eliminated shadow overlap at distance
- Added card-hair fallback for a huge FPS boost when used (for older machines. Enabled with 'Simple Hair' in the graphics options)
- Various code optimizations
- Significantly reduced loading time for outfits
- Recreated some textures to have better fit (e.g. bathroom door, etc)
Fixes:
- Fixed body modification not accepting negative values
- Fixed some typos
- Countless smaller fixes
Additions:
- FPS/frametime counter
- Added bathroom to main room, with working shower that interacts with skin to make it wet
- Added peeking minigame with sight based reveal system and graphical representation, as well as notice system based on player's movement and position
- Added several small scenes to advance story (wip)
- Several framework additions in the backend, like the ability to control location-dependent events without the need for strong references
- Reset button for body/hair
- Body/Hair now saves persistent
- Completely new layer in dialogue system with scripting system to add animations, audio and facial animation without the need for a dedicated cutscene timeline, which makes simple dialogue a lot faster to write.
There is a ton of new additions like the new characters, animations and 3 new locations that aren't unlocked yet in this version, since they still lack a bit of polish, as well as some missing animation parts, voice, events, cutscenes, etc.
I'll release new parts as they get done, which should go a bit faster now that I got a huge chunk of optimizations out of the way.
This first version will be available for the Hotel Manager and Dicktator Tier first, and will become available for more tiers once the next version releases, which will probably be in a week or so.

Hail Dicktator 0.66 Preview #1 (also D.Sim news)
The update is making good progress, and should be ready on Friday in one week.
Tensions are going to get higher and higher from here on out, and more and more strange things begin to happen all around the islanders. Will they realize the in time in how much danger they are in?
D.Sim News: Just as the last two years, I'm using all my available time that isn't allotted to Hail Dicktator to work on D.Sim. I'm trying to pipeline things like commissions to optimize the little time I have available. At the same time, I have smaller and simpler tasks lined up I can do during Daz3D loading times. I've written a new shader that eliminates most of the shortcomings of Unity's lightmapping. There will be a dev blog soon, where I will go into detail on everything.

D.Sim 0.0.2a (Public)
This is the first little update for D.Sim for all. This versions contains two new sex scenes on the bed.
Updates to the story and bigger content updates will follow. New characters and locations will be added next, and the story will be expanded to incorporate them.
I will keep you all up-to-date on the progress and upcoming content.
