Some progress on FD2 - I had a bit of a mix bag for productivity this week, I had to redo a bunch of failed renders, but I have also made some good work on more dialogue and getting renders in game.

Also here is a cute ghost, for the spooky season.

Small Update

I don't have much to share yet, but I'm working on my next small game, it's different from "first date" in many ways but I hope It's something people can still like. If not well, I'm also hoping it will be completed much faster so if it's terrible I can get back to FD2 sooner. I have a rough draft of the story sketched out, but I'm not super happy with it, I'm hoping in a few more revisions I can improve this. 

I spend basically all weekend testing renders on one of the more busy scenes, I think I finally have achieved an okay balance between visuals and speed.

I'm sorry I don't have more to share yet. As an apology, here is an up close render of Sam, is an eye fetish a thing? I think her eyes are my favourite feature of hers.

Game is finished!
Just need to do some spell check and i few UI fixes, but otherwise it's complete. Playable from start to end all dialogue and all renders.

I had to give up on a gallery for now, it might be a post game update Audio is also something I never figured out again will have to skip it.

Set backs, Set backs, Set backs!
It feels like it's one step forward and two steps back at times.

Some good news turns out I didn't have all the renders in the folder that 1600 images folder is now a bit larger, also good news I am re-rendering some of my early renders which I now consider too low quality for the game.

Middle news, I learned some useful info about the Timeline feature, Render Queues and Lighting, unfortunately mostly too late for this game but will greatly improve my next project.

Bad news, getting the renders into the game is taking much longer than I anticipated, my naming scheme for files is horrible and disorganized, and the spot cleaning and animations are much more work than I thought it would be.

Progress update

The Renders are done!

Clocking in at roughly 1600 Renders (give or take as a few are animations and what not)

Still some touch up work to do, but after that just need to put it all into game. Very happy to have made it this far.
